Harry Potter seems pretty likely, especially seeing as it’s getting a new adaptation.
Mortal Kombat would be the absolute best though. If it does get reps, it would probably be Scorpion and Subzero, but my fave would be my boy Raiden.

You're half right actually! The servers for the games beta did indeed close.
The full game is set to release on May 28th though with tons of changes and improvements.
There's a relatively large amount of players eager for the games re-release and I hope I can help that community grow and raise awareness/interest for the game by putting out the best content o can!

It's not dead they simply gathered enough info from the beta and are preparing for the full release
I honestly thought so too. For some reason, when the devs closed the test phase. I got a few videos talking about how the game died. I thought It was a massive bomb because I was unaware that it wasn't officially released.

Judging by the gameplay and comparisons to olimar who I already don't really take for a rushdown, LeBron doesn't seem like the the fast combo machine that most rushdowns are
Plus most of his faster combos seem like something to come out of characters like Rob or Peach who don't exactly fit "rushdown" either despite their good combo game
Hearing that unintentionally Bowser, my main in Smash, and Garnet, my main in Multiversus, are the closest matches to eachother felt like an insane aura read! spot on!

The top 3, competitively are ganondorf, mac and Dr. Mario.
Since the game is extremely well balanced, they are just bad and not complete unplayable trash like bowser and pichu in melee and any normal player will have no problem playing with them :)

I think the actual big difference between Batman and Sheik is that Batman is HUGE, while one of Sheik's biggest strength is how hard they are to hit

I agree, we need more small pink cuties to be represented. As a kirby kinda guy, i guess i want lots of jumps and some very light attacks mixed with some very heavy damage dealers like a massive flaming hammer.

Imo finn looks more like hero
He has the store thing, which echoes with the spells menu, he strugles to kick oponents from above platforms (hero's up air is hot garbage and while his up tilt is okay, still)
I would say the recovery is more like a link thing, for obvious reasons, and his combos are nothing to compare from each other, but the have smiliarities
I am a kingKRool main and I play iron giant all the time and the fact that he said kingKRool mains are good with iron giants. I just find that crazy.
I really didn’t think Byleth would be in multiversus but I guess if I ever play this game ill give Jake a shot!

Yeah I think Multiversus has very unique characters that function completely differently in the engine alone.
But, I do think there's inherently going to be a lot of overlap so I wanted to make content that helped introduce players to some characters in a way that might make a little more sense.

I was always a young/toon link main since melee, in melee I play young link and in the others I play toon link, I always finded his technical play style realy cool, while theyre not identical, since multiversus came outh I was a finn main, his airs and grounded sword atacks remind me a lot of toon link, plus his projectile that, while not being even CLOSE to how usefull and powerfull the bomb is, is still a great projectile to use in certain situations.
But in the end of the day, I just main toon link cause of Wind Waker and Finn cause of Adventure Time

I've been super burnt out on SSBU, and I'm super excited for MVS to drop especially if some of my favourite characters of all time like Godzilla or Luffy are added, I also loved the floaty and smooth gameplay this game had
Me waiting for a character to be similar to Kirby, Rosalina and Luma, and Lucas to appear:
The Jerry management part of Tom & Jerry’s Gameplan kinda reminds me of Rosaluma.
And the video made a nod to Kirby when building up to Finn’s smash counterpart reveal being Little Mac, so maybe look into Tom & Jerry and Finn

Little Mac main and was a Finn main in the beta. I knew there was a reason I enjoyed him so much
On top of that, K.Rool is my secondary and so was Iron Giant

I definitely went into this expecting my smash mains (Dr. Mario and Bowser Jr) to not be mentioned lol. Still a good video though.
main one I'm mixed on is iron giant, if anything I'd attribute IG to dedede, his grab is much more like dedede's neutral special and almost always forces disadvantage on to his opponents along with his up tilt projectile helping with that advantage without needing to go to ledge. On top of that with the recent showcase of his dash attack that is basically the same as dedede's i feel like that comparison is basically set in stone, overall though pretty good video with most of the others being pretty agreeable for the most part

I don't know much about Multiversus, but I instantly thought Bayo when I saw Harley Quinn. Even the kick animations are similar
It's no wonder I liked playing Superman (DK was my initial main on SSBU) but i'll have to check out Black Adam too (Pikachu being one of my current SSBU mains)
Bugs gives me Steve vibes. That charging Drop kick move reminds me of Steve bair’s power, his money safe thing reminds me of anvil, his up tilt combos into a lot like Steve up tilt does.
Plus both characters are resource dependent & can do a lot of things and can play a lot of rolls in teams/be played in a lot of ways.
Not to mention, the last time I tuned into MvS, Bugs was the consensus #1 character much like Steve is.
Having spent like 5 hours in Multiversus, this explains why I gravitated toward Harley Quinn. (Zero Suit Samus is one of my favorites from Smash Brothers)
Since I like Batman in Multiversus, I'll be sure to give Sheik a try!

We’re taking Finn.
I already know that I'm maining Batman when this game's servers go up again because not only does he seem fun since I like playing as Joker in smash who I think is very similar to shiek in a lot of ways, but I'm also very obsessed with Batman as a character.
Well at First i thought 1 year ago but looks like people still remember the underrated gem
I played toon link and pac man in smash, and during multiversus beta I picked up morty and gizmo
And From seeing the other comments you were right on the money with many of these choices

15:40 - I like the overlap but a good Labron will catch players near the ceiling or another screen edge with his basketball (pikmin don't mid air upward arc knockback like a LeBron lay up).
1:28 Shiek is a ninja and Batman uses a lot of ninjitsu himself so that checks out.
During the early days of MVS my main was Harley. She’s just easy to use and easy to get used to when ur a new player. But my intentions were to main Bugs but he felt WAY too slow when I picked him up.
Eventually I just kept playing Bugs and got used to him and now he’s my main.
But by the time MVS was losing players Finn became my third main. Simply because he’s a fast character and mainly because of nostalgia purposes. But he’s still really fun to play with😂
So my 3 mains is
1) Bugs
2) Finn
3) Harley
Oh yea this is for new players who’ve never touched MVS. I suggest trying Harley first because I feel like she’s the best new player character in the game. Despite it saying Shaggy as a Recommended character.
I co-maineg Garnet. I like the Bowser comparison, but there's something you understandinly missed with flame breath. There was a point in the game where they changed the attacks where her fists get big to be disjoints (before that they were bad ideas that caused you to be hit when you weren't going to get hit). Mucu more start up in terms of having to jab into forward attack folkow up, but no fuel loss. Also more like flame than swords in the beta due to few attacks being big fist and the way stale worked. (Discord posts mentioned that the new stale system will be more specific to moves, also I won't be surprised if all characters kits neing revamped will effect Garnet the most. Choosing to get hard staled and still using that move despite how strong stale was can't be what they intended from a decent ranked player who would not be spamming if anything else was possible).
Billy & Mandy need to be a second duo character to fit with Tom & Jerry! Billy & Mandy’s moveset would be where Mandy carries Billy everywhere on her back and they use projectiles and sudden meteor hits, exactly like another inseparable duo in Smash; Banjo & Kazooie. Also I need to see Mandy use Breegul Bash on Billy.
I was thinking they would be a tag team but that would be cool tbh

Personally i feel like rob aligned with tom and jerry more. They feel good at zoning and using their projectiles as a mid screen defense and their close up moves are pretty good. Then again, it could just be me being a rob main and tom and jerry main.

10:50 I think in this case it is entirely the fact that Villager/Velma's play style works so much better in MV. The 2v2 style of play allows their partner to rack up and distract while Velma can get their set ups in, making their small picks at the opponent all the more deadly and overall useful.

Yes you can play it if you had it downloaded, but the servers aren't up until May 28, also some footage could've been old tournaments
as a little mac main i got to say most people dont play him right hes strongest holding his ground waiting in the center of the stage for people to get with in range and his side be can jump a lot of projectiles to counter when the opponent is stuck in animation and his counter is his recovery so long as u are close to the center of the map you will always be launched in a angle that will allow to counter to block any spikes and your up b will reach the ledge i think he feels more like wonder women bur with better recovery
As someone who mains Stripe in Multiversus, i never actively sought out to play young link in smash ToT
i kinda stopped playing the beta before the gremlins, rick, morty, marvin, and black adam were added so seeing how those characters play does make me, a velma main, very interested in trying out rick when the game comes back. also reindog absolutely doesn't have to be played at range, i was an aggressive melee reindog player myself and that dog could hurt people lol.
I really liked this game when it came out, played it for a while, last I checked this game had 70 people playing mid day on a weekend, R.I.P, I wish this game was still popular

I feel like tom and jerry captures steves combo game better than most chars in this game, or pre patch bugs bunny cause holy shit he had actual pick loop combos exactly like steve, and had actual setups with objects like how steve does
I don't like Smash or MultiVersus, or that style of game in general, but I find the overlap of games and similar mechanical character design fascinating
