gotta adjust the rubber tabs above the headlights. Prevents the hood from going down to far. On the flipside, my hood doesnt have rain guards and i was worried about getting water on my engine but after seeing this. Eases my worries a little bit lol
Yes, I've already tried adjusting those tabs. I have a slight suspicion the car was in a slight fender bender. CarFax was clean so I guess we'll never know haha
@@zach_lush I'm a little confused since varis and vis are different brands. Or are they the same hood? Which hood do you have? I'm asking because I need to install the shroud and want to make sure the hood I buy has the ability to be drilled into.
Can't remember at the top of my head. I just matched up a drill bit with the push connector diameter. I do recommend going a bit larger, I broke a few going too small. Fairly cheap from Subaru though

did you by chance end up putting hood pins on at all since your hood install? I'm still on the fence of getting them or not
I did not put hood pins. It's been on the car for over a year now and I've gone pretty high speeds with the hood. It is up to you though
Where can I purchase some of those vent covers for that sti hood?
Only would come with the carbon hood your buying. Don't believe you can buy them afterwards. Maybe contact VIS?
Which hood is this? I just wanna make sure I buy the correct one
It's just a varis/ vis hood. Seibon has a similar one but it's different
