Yes it does have the oem latch. They require hood pins because since the hood is carbon fiber the latch hook is epoxyed on. It holds great but over time the epoxy can weaken and the hood can fly open while driving. I have a hood pin install video as well, super easy to do and compliments the carbon look nicely.

Yes as long as you get a hood for the correct year the wrx and sti hoods will fit no problem!

Carbon looks beautiful but for the purpose… $1000 for a 16lbs loss… idk about that. Lol hood looks beautiful though.
It's a dual purpose thing, weight loss and pretty lol that's also why I bought mine used for 500 I think. Not a bad deal
