Love this, but I just recommended my client buy the original Wireless Go v1 and we cannot get it to work with her new Macbook Pro M1 version. We've got the SC-7 cable & a Millso USB A to 3.5mm audio adapter. We also have a Millso USB Type C to 3.5mm Adapter, plus a new Hub - Purgo USB C Hub Adapter for the M1 (USB-C TB3 (40Gbps,5K@60Hz), USB-C Data(Data Only), & 2 x USB 3.0,), but cannot get the Rode to work. We've set all the preferences correctly inside the mac, and have tried the Type C with & without the hub, AND with the USB A adapter into the USB A on the hub. Can you help explain exactly how to connect the original Go with the new M1 Macs? I've searched high and low and cannot find anyone addressing this. Maybe it's just me, but I'm failing my client and it's getting weird. :-) Thanks!
I have two questions 1.Does it work with any other usb c to usb c cable? 2. Doe ist work with a usb c to usb a cable using an adapter for a macboock (usb c)? Than you!
Hey there, the Wireless GO II works with many different cables, however we can only confirm that it works with cables we make, such as the SC16 and SC18. The reason some cables work and some don't is because transmitting multichannel audio over USB requires a minimum level of transfer speed.

This feature would be my dream come true. Than, I would rush to the store to huy one kit for myself. Rode should include earphones to this kit as well.
Personally I have noticed very bad signal connecting my mics with my windows laptop, all those inputs on USB-C ports and also with TRSS and I really don't understand Why all persons that have participed on my audiotests, incluiding different platforms like google Meet and Zoom, they noticed kinda distorsion and echoey sound, like any ordinary mic in a streaming, and that was sad. I did some other tests with my AKG Perception 100 and Scarlet 2i2 interface, and Rode W Go 2 couldn't get a decent point of voice definition. Conclusion: useless to expectations. And another thing, last day I was on location, Interior mostly, and over suddenly my ROde started to pick up some annoying Radio Frequencies, we had to stop and repeat a lot of times our recording. SO please I would like a technical reply cause` we tryied to find a way to stop that with desktop app, but you can't. There's no way to know at What Freq rode mics are working in order to switch it and go. Finally We had to wait about 10 minutes, turn off and then start again... :\ I hate to mess clients time. If you want me to do a Review just ask or contact me please!

You can use an AI-Micro, which is a micro audio interface that allows you to monitor and record audio with your Wireless GO unit.
@@rodemic I was able to connect a microphone to my computer, but the sound is very bad. Tried on two more computers - also bad. Tried on iphone 12 - good. What in this case needs to be done to be good on the computer? Buy a sound card?
@@rodemic I just tried connecting the rode wireless go to my computer with a good $200 sound card, but the output is still worse than when I write through the Iphone 12. Even my $25 USB microphone records better. What do you think. RODE AI-Micro cannot be purchased because there are no deliveries to Ukraine now
What lav mic are you using?
Hey there, Heen is wearing the Lavalier GO mic in this video. You can read more about it here: rode.com/en/microphones/lavalier-wearable/lavalier-go

@@rodemic Thank you Rode (T_T)
I would like to add a earphones to hear others in zoom calls in the transmitter end. Is it possible?
This feature would be my dream come true. Than, I would rush to the store to huy one kit for myself. Rode should include earphones to this kit as well.
As there is no audio out socket on the transmitter, you have to connect earphones to your computer - either by cable or Bluetooth.
I have noticed some interferences too. This equipment works at WIFI 2,4Ghz, it's not a RF system, so you can't just change the frecuency.

If I were to use this setup to amplify my voice through connected speakers, woudl that work? I think no unfortunately.
It is definitely possible to make your Wireless GO II work with speakers, here's a good example: th-cam.com/video/mhDgT2dYDCY/w-d-xo.html
Apologies if this has been asked. Anyone use these on Microsoft Teams with success? My guess is it should work.
