Namor looked like the protagonist in all the movie. An actual interesting character

Namor was trying to force Wakanda to be the front line in his war against the surface world and wanted to kill an innocent young woman because she accidentally stumbled onto his secret.
Killing Riri wouldn't have protected his people, and it was only through Wakanda's grace that they didn't broadcast his people's existence to the world and wipe them out.
Namor was uncommonly sympathetic as a bad guy yes, but he was still a stubborn fool who left innocent bodies in his wake because he couldn't listen to others.
One thing I noticed about Marvel is that they portray characters better in guest appearances than in their own movie.

Still hoping for a lot more with this character. He's one of Marvel's all-time classic guest stars for a reason-- you can throw him into any cast and he has an interesting dynamic that makes it better.

Seriously everything about Namor in this movie is remarkable and complete as a character.
Hes a king, worshipped as a God, he has tons of lore and enough history to create myths around him, hes superhumanly strong and durable (strength is apparently in the class of the hulk but thats still questionable) he breathes under water, he can fly, and my favorite part: he doesnt age.
This man is such a formidable force that absolutely no one in Wakanda can take him one-on-one without severely weakening him and using some of the most advanced technology on the planet. Hes too strong and could probably have ended the entire war on his own.
The cherry on top is that you cant replicate what he is. He was actually born that way: a mutant. Nonetheless, I cannot wait to see him rear his head in future marvel installments.
A villian with justifiable motives and the overwhelming strength to defeat those who stand against him. Great character overall.

This is the first on screen appearance of Namor the submariner in the MCU. Badass. I swear that guy thought he was dead after getting punched.
It took Namor 2 minutes ro destroy 5 of their ships. He's one of the best characters in the MCU, and his flying pattern is amazing.

Even though I’m not a big fan of Black Panther, the reason I saw this movie was for Námor. Such a great decision to change his back story for the better. Plus he’s of the best villians in phase 4 and they kept him alive and now just a one time villian

@@trueblue6201 especially when it's the throne room, the room that holds Wakanda's most powerful family and controls the most powerful nation in the world, all of Wakanda is covered in Vibranium, so who knows how much vibranium they needed to put on the throne room. It's also one of the most powerful substances in the universe. Other nations earlier in the film wouldn't take vibranium without no reason.
@@goughjoshuaa the bomb is more than likely made from vibranium. Coupled with with the velocity of his enhanced throw, multiple bombs being thrown, and the pressure from the water exploding I dont find it shocking how fast the glass broke.
I wish he won. He was the coolest part.

@LANDBACKbyANYmeans Debateable. Talocan through Namor invaded Wakanda's borders, threatened its leaders, attacked and kidnapped its ruler's daughter, and then threatened Wakanda's head of state. The rescue of Shuri and death of one Talocan is arguably not the first strike.

Namor didn't kidnap Shuri. She asked to be taken to him so she could persuade him not to kill Riri. Also, he asked that Wakanda help fix the issue that threatened his people. So, yes, Wakanda did attack first.

This movie had its flaws but many great aspects to it, like this whole sequence. Its a masterpiece of a movie compared to much of phase 4 and 5

Technology advanced. Tulokan isnt as advanced as Wakanda but Namor is way stronger than any Wakandan, including Black Panther, plus he floods Wakanda. In a war Wakanda would probably win though.
