with Wakanda forever coming soon, i thought it would be good to revisit black panther and create a video out of it. God this movie is something else-a balance with humor and story arc unlike mcu movies coming out at phase 4. I added text commentary. Hope you guys love it.

Just comes off as rude and entitled. For all their talk of how the rest of the world is messed up, the Wakandans act like they're above everyone else. Sure, they can do what they want, but the hypocrisy has become frustrating over the course of the two Black Panther movies and their appearance in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Of course, you can say Okoye and the people she commands are the issue, but again, seeing this repeated time and again isn't fun anymore.

I watch scenes like this and after seeing black panther 2 I can't help but wonder...what would the movie be like if he was still here with us. I love what they did this time...but I just can't help but think about it.

They had said before Chadwick died that it was originally going to be about his son and Wakanda but after he died they decided to go the comic book route and make shuri the new BP
Right?! It's almost as if he would have made the movie infinitely better than before.
Ryan Coogler already discussed it. It was a father/son movie about T'Challa and his son, focusing on the Blip and that impacted his relationship with his son given that he was gone from his son's life for five years. As soon as Coogler finished the script, he offered Chadwick the opportunity to read it, but Chadwick declined saying to let Marvel give them their notes first and said he'd read it later. Chadwick passed away about two weeks later and Coogler said he found out that Chadwick had just been too tired to read anything.

Black Panther 2 is probably the better film, but Black Panther 1 is special because of how deeply ingrained Black culture is to every aspect of the film. People related to it not just because they saw actors that looked like themselves in leading roles (which is important) but also because those actors spoke and acted like them too. I think Black Panther 2 missed that boat a little bit on every character except M'Baku.
BP 2 split its time introducing a new nation: Talokan
No its not, Black Panther was funny, and it had action, I feel like every movie should sometimes be a little bit lighthearted, the second one wasn't funny.
BP 1 is good that's why BP 2 is better. The heartbreak hurts more in BP 2 when you know that things could have been different if Chad/TChalla didnt die. RIP

There’s something I can’t help but notice about Black Panther. Tell me if this sounds familiar:
A young African prince with strong ties to a large cat looses his father before he’s ready to take the throne. Before he can ascend the throne, a male relative on his father’s side comes and challenges him, seemingly killing him. The usurper then makes some very questionable decisions regarding international relations. Those who were close to the prince leave the nation to seek help. Those who they reach out to for help reveal the prince is still alive. After a supernatural reunion with his father, the prince returns home takes down the usurper, and reclaims the throne with the help of both the people who saved his life and loyalists who are still in the nation.
