I love that you didn't edit out all the little things you have to fix that you always have with a new motor. The leaks etc. It shows that you're real and not trying to make it look like you can just throw something like this together start it and run to the track. Love the channel
Sounds good. I’ve been following you for a few years now. Wasn’t a dedicated follower until the past few months. I’ve always had mustangs for projects. But after selling my 96 gt a few years ago. I wanted another project. Looked high and low for a fox and settled on a ranger. The desire to build the ranger was never there. But after watching some of your junk yard videos and the 387 videos. The desire came back. Thanks NEO. I owe ya one brother
Great video, needed to see something like this after the #$%# week i've been having. only thing I can add is, if you pour fluids out of a bottle like a coolant bottle's shape, turn it so the wide flat side faces the ground. it lets the air get in faster so the fluid doesn't pulse out of the neck and spill all over. i feel for ya about getting broken parts--i've been without a working bathroom for the last two weeks b/c the plumbing store keeps sending stuff that must have been returned broken and then put back into inventory rather than into the dumpster. damn good idea marking the reverse-flow serp water pump pulley with an arrow.
Great to see if fired up and running Dan. Looking forward to the dyno soon to see what it makes. Got a 351w sitting around that is tempting to do this with.
Cool stuff Neo. My last 393W low dollar stroker was a blast for almost 2 decades with manual/auto trans and also with a 50 shot of Nitrous to run the local 10.0 Index class sometimes. When I put the G Force g101 in it I just did the NA stuff and down at MIR it when a best of 10.03 at 133. Soooo damn close to a 9 sec pass. Ugh. Then I put together a 427” dart block NA combo. Only ran in the heat n no better et but same top end parts. Got a whole new combo coming together now with upgraded pieces.
I can’t wait to see how it performs on the dyno. Watching your channel has helped immensely and is giving me inspiration to build another motor for my 88 Vert GT. Your video’s were a big help with my heads and intake switch and rebuilding my GT40P’s. Keep up the good work!!!
Very nice man I’ve got the exact same crank in my winsor in my 72 Gran Torino except I punched out my block .060 over yielding at a whopping 400 ci 302 flat tops with stock length 351 rods
u should hear mine it's a 76 block it's 60 over bore makes it a 398w some where around 500 hp but it's in a 71 Torino runs real good just not fast ran 8.87 in 1/8 mile I think it will do better haven't been able to get back to the track
Man I wish all the money I spent on the delta force sniper turning kit would work on the fox body..neo you know if there is any way I could get it to work it goes through the obd ports .bought the regular one that comes with the 3 tunes that you just put what's done to the car an it makes the tune for you but then bought the one that a shop would use at the Dyno shops.with data logger.the guy who waa the owner passed away feom a hart attack .the 90gt computer has a super chip in the 90 mustang computer not sure what' it does have had a lot of fox bodies but always used the 302 an put supercharger on them .have a 460 I was going to put it in it till I seen this build .
2:44 , I am lucky enough to have kept all of the little things like those brackets and pieces that came out with my 351W out of my old E350 and the other stuff that I thought 🤔🧐 I could use or someone else might want or need.
Hey I'm from MI. Iv bin trying to find someone that will till me whats a good small bird for a 302 I have a sn95 it's all stock what should I do . Iv never done a hole moter bild
Hell yeah, you finally got your shit off of the engine stand and almost off of the jack stands, that engine sounds good and running solid, its going to rip i think it should make 420-450 wheel, am I close cause I know its already hit the dyno 😂
@@Neomustangs maybe not 😅 that would suck 😅 I've been waiting impatiently forever to hear this motor run cause I was planning on building the same style motor because I have a 94 roller 351w in my old work van but then I ran across some dome forged pistons on marketplace for 30 bucks for the set brand new that I couldn't resist so now it's looking like I'm going to try them now 😁 Do ya think that it will make decent power 12:1 KB pistons ? I feel like it will do pretty fair, never tried any domes before, have ya ever ran any ?
@@Neomustangs yeah it does toss any kind of boost out of the window for sure which kinda sucks I don't know I may try to just make a few bucks off of them and still stroke the 351w maybe I can get enough to pay for half of the crank or something
Why will you put the fuel regulator at the wheel well. That right there is a safety. If you get a blow out or a rock hits it, you going to have fire no matter what. You have plenty of space in the engine bay by the front of the right side tower. Make it easier on your self brotha.
Maaaaaan, that’s the smoothest first startup I’ve ever seen!
Tune was spot on! well.. kinda haha thanks for stopping in!
Facts! No hestiation at all.
@@ElevatedEyez definately needs some tuning a bit but the startup wasnt off much. Needs more fuel.

Yep!
Started right up nice work
Been following the build, 1000% gonna build something similar! The only difference is I’m going with solid roller and sniper efi
Nah keep it budget. If you can get cheap old school pistons in a stock bore pfft send it.
Really enjoy your content. Keep on keepin on!
Thanks, will do!
😵That baddie started and purred as if it was a first factory start! Yup, subscribed. 💪🏼

ya this is basically a 393 but w/o having to bore it. Good build you had there!
Even with a roller cam, shouldn't the initial run have a little rpm to sling oil on those fresh walls?
No it’s good.
Absolutely awesome Dan!! I love it 😍. Thanks for sharing
Oh get that on the dyno !
Congrats!
the litle mouse is alife, very good job, and sounds good too, maybe 500 hp
Lmao, this is What ive been waiting for neo.. you almost had me neo with the last vid.. ive been waiting for this n/a

Absolutely sick build! What headlights are those?
Smoked style
What size is your shop, the area where the cars fit? Looks like somewhere in the neighborhood of 22x40, not including the area where the shelves are?
Sounds great ! At what point would you have to fly cut the pistons for Twisted Wedge heads?
We didn’t fly cut anything
Do you need a adapter for a 351 h it's a 87 to bolt it to a manual transmission
No
Thank you I was told I did
Thank you for all of your content it's very helpful
What camshaft did you use? Thanks
sweet build man...can't wait to hear the numbers. What is the distributer part# ? I'm putting the same setup in my cougar.
Just a cheap replacement I found for 351 TFi

What’s the best way to reach you?
My boyfriend is looking for a motor or have his looked at in his 87 foxbody can you help
Sounds good
I was wondering what compression those pistons and those heads would net you.. after hearing that first crank lol I am guessing “High”
I have addressed this in other videos. Theres a whole play list on this engine.
Wow bro I can't believe it's been a year already.
So many things going on in the channel it’s hard to do anything fast
I know that one lol
Might be time to swap in a mini starter
Battery needs a good charge
Is that rotella that you put in it
yes sir...
Do you have any engines for sale?
Anyone roughly know the cost of this build? I just had my 351w blow oil from my 82 Bronco and looking at doing this to 'er.
Nice
How you 387 out 351 with stock crack
rewatch the video.. its not a stock crank...
