I built 2 dozen arrows this week Black Eagle Rampages, half were gun barrel straight half not so straight. I weighed everything matching heavy shafts with light components and vice versa, got the entire 2 dozen within 0.8 grains variance. 452 grains 14.8% foc. so happy with how they shoot. Can you do a video comparing different arrows together? For example Id love to see how the VAP SS compares to the Gold Tip Pierce, both in weights, straightness, and spine, and in accuracy in actual shooting.

Long story short my arrows hit the dirt all the times because I shoot target areas around a flag out to 260-340 yards and flight archery is my secondary thing. No matter if the ground is hard as a rock from summer heat and being bone dry for several weeks or frozen in the winter. I am interested in use of this arrows and shoot them from laminated historical shape bows for ultra long range a wee beyond 300 yards. Target shooting and flight shooting as well. My main question is how these arrows take the torture of hit the dirt? Are they durable enough to take it all? Or they are a no go zone on their own? DoI need to stay with more conventional arrows with larger diameter? The reeason why I use carbon arrows instead of wooden arros in the first place is their durability. I would kill wood arrows by a very few shots doing my things. For comparison my Easton PowerFlight cheap carbone arrows are still in a useable shape after one year and God knows how many shots.
Mfjj, what’s you take on spot Hogg grinder vs hunter? They don’t have a lot of info out there on these sights or comparisons. I am having trouble deciding which one I want to go with.

It take precision tools to measure a thousandth of an in inch. I'd know from trueing wheels to aluminum welding precision parts. You sir are talking out you... when you're spouting off tolerances. Don't be ignorant, it's not fair to your audience.

Been shooting victory vaps for 25 yrs+ hard hitting tough micro diameter shafts deadly accurate…using podium archery’s 50 grain titanium half outs awesome combo with tac drivers 2.0” no complaints

I’ve been shooting the VAP TKO I don’t love the outserts, they get stuck in some targets, but they’re tough arrows

Over all those vaps in either 250 or 300 spine are VERY durable , been slinging them for years.

I’m using the VAP 1 SS. Love them but not the aluminum inserts up front. They tend to bend easy

Im sure you made your decision but the hunter makes adjusting super nice and convenient in comparison to the grinder.

I shoot these and order from you all the time. But they never come with the shok tl 50 gn. It's always the shitty 34 gn aluminum ones.
