    Just an FYI for those that may not know: "More than a thou" doesn't mean it's out of spec. The spec for every shaft I've ever seen is "plus/minus" meaning on an .001" spec .002" TIR is totally acceptable. Another thing people often overlook is where that measurement is taken. That plays a very large role in the specs.

    • @Bowhunterohio
      @Bowhunterohio 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exactly right. That’s what I was about to say. If they go off the .001 tolerance and it’s going off say 283 then it’s a +/- so if they are .001 below 283 and another arrow is .001 above 283 then of course between those two would be more than the .001. So you need the weight they are going off of. Either way I switched to shooting Victory arrows at the beginning of this year and I love the arrows. I especially like the spine alignment. I build my own arrows and these seem to be my favorite. For the price you can’t go wrong. Another thing I like about Victory. They look good. Sorry but that matters to me. Lol.

    I run these at 28” with 185 grain ethics insert and 100 grain broadhead. They fly great my foc is over 20%.
    My youngest son also uses them and shot a hog quartering to him through the shoulder out about midway into a pig behind it through the shoulder plate and into the hart first one rand 25 yards and the second one ran about 55 yards and broke the arrow flopping on the ground. I’ve shot several deer missed one and centered a oak tree have not broke one yet.

    Had 3 arrow manufacturer lined up to decide which one i will shot. I got 3 arrow from each manufacturers and fletched them up and ended up choosing the RIP tkos. Had best performances from them and they are on the weight zone i wanted.

    I've been shooting VForce Elites and have been happy with them, but have wanted to try the RIPs for a while.
    Do you prefer the stock stainless halfouts that come with the RIPs, or the Gold Tip trad halfouts flush with the shaft? Is there a size of the GT trads that matches the 300 spine Rip?

    I am shooting the RIP also.. I am not sure what insert they used at the Archery shop, it has little grooves around the outside of it. The 28.5" tiny 350 shafts with 100 grain field points, came out to 417.9 to 418.0 grains. my FOC came out a little over 15.75% I am hoping this will be ok for elk, I kinda like the faster arrow.

    Hi Josh, I have a Mathews V3X29 in 75lbs 28" draw 85% letoff. The arrows I have are Vicotory Rip TKO Elite in .250 spine cut to 27" with a 50 grain Easton HIT insert and 10 grain Iron Will Collar with a 100 grain QAD Exodus Swept broadhead. I have fletched the arrows with 3 AAE max stealth vanes using the Arizona EZ Fletch Left Helical jig and I am using Noctural Lighted nocks. The total weight is 454 grains. I was wondering if you believe the .250 spine arrows will be overspined given these specs and I should purchase these arrows in .300 spine instead? I understand the FOC % is less with the .250 spine, I am just wondering if the arrow itself is too stiff and if I will notice any decrease in accuracy out to 50 yards max compared to a 300 spine rip tko. Thanks for your review.

    Most companies measure runout over the straightest 28” of the arrow. Can’t remember about these guys but unless you’re tall as hell you are definitely going to cut that micro wobble out. On the weight that’s a standard deviation of a tenth of a grain. I’m not gonna shit a brick over that.

      Drill bit that is slightly smaller than arrow id. Ranch fairy has a video on it. Tackle with caution as the insert gets hammered and will mushroom inside the shaft potentially destroying the arrow. Had good luck with it, but have busted a couple doing it too mainly with aluminum inserts

    Even on your site they are $210.. why do you keep saying $159.99 ?? You mean for the .006 shafts, maybe that price. But definitely not the elites, also I have emailed your shop and have asked why my first string level had the larger bubbles, and then the next one I got had the small bubble levels . I try to call, no one ever answers, I email Josh jones directly, no reply. So can someone atleast answer the question about the product you make and sell, because I get one that has large bubbles, and the next one has tiny bubble levels, I have had some inconsistencies compared to my hamskea gen2 pro on my string. This is why I am asking but I cannot get anyone to give me an answer. Thank you.
