Well done discovering and persevering. I have found a source of fresh cold pressed flaxseed oil with an excellent Omega 3 to 6 ratio. It is one of the best value oils I have found. Bollocks, its the 21st century, they are the same as women everywhere now. Some loyal.some not. All this " thai women are so....." is just fetishization of Asian women, a western racsist trope.
@@eddieogorman4482 I think that's a very fair comment mate but you need to put it into context. If they have no other way of making money they will do what they need to do.
I retired her to Thaland 8 years ago with my Thai wife (of 50+ yrs) after her diagnosis of alztheimer/dementia. She has been in a demenyai hospital now almost 4 years in BKK. Costs all inclusive of consumables is 20000 a month, INCLUDING - 24hr qualified care, meals. So a private carer is not really sufficient for a patient with later stages of the disease. One care cannot be with her 24/7. Not all homes in Thailand are expensive.
67 is not really that old, I have friends in late 80's in good shape, it is all about how we take care of ourselves, not allowing others to take advantage of us, good sleep, diet, no alcohol or drugs, good relationships, avoiding stress, you can be "OLD" at age 50, and be young at age "90"
Don’t downplay genetics, diet can only do so much. Everyone has a different expiration date. It’s all about finding the perfect recipe to maximize your shelf life.
If you want to know where the pressure point are go to acupuncture. They used needle that will be the points. Your will learn can also be accessed with your fingers.
There seems to be some confusion over what Pen said about the costs for a carer, around the 9:00 to 10:30 point. She did NOT say that she was paid 15,000 a month as some seem to think. What she said was that carers cost from 15,000 a month for a part-time carer to 60,000 for a full time nurse, and that she's a full-time, live-in nurse so gets twice what a part-time carer does. She blurred this over slightly, and I'm not so sure about her nursing qualifications, but at a conservative guess she gets a minimum of 30,000 a month plus meals plus some expenses such as petrol. That matches what some 'carers' I know get who've either gone to Chiang Mai to work in nursing homes or who work privately, live-in, and with what a qualified nurse gets in a state hospital, for an 8 hour shift, at around 30,000 baht.
@@galdessa1 It was actually 9k for rent and utilities, leaving 7k for "everything else" - food for two, gas, petrol, Ph water from 7-11, visa, medical costs, etc. Good luck with that.
@@galdessa1 Hello This is Vincent I see from your comments that you wish to understand how I can live on $1420 a month in Pai, Thailand. I do not keep track how I spend my money, but at the end of a month I have some extra to save. I pay 9000B for rent and I do not pay Pen much. She take care of me out of kindness of her heart. I just pay for us to live a simple and comfortable life. We take care of each other.
great vid. I just got back from thailand. will be moving there full time next month. from the US. Man i'm only 46 and i can say dementia is pretty damn scary to me. i couldn't deal w/ it. I was really facinated by his water/acidity discussion. I'm definitly gonna look into that. As i have some health issues as well that i have to go on a very extreme diet for that i've been avoiding for a very long time because its basically 90% of what i eat now i can no longer eat.
Interesting vid. As far as water goes technically you need to run a RO filter to remove these forever chemicals and microplastics. Ideally with with pre-filters for efficiency then remineralize at the end of the process
I am always curious what some people consider a "massive" amount to be scammed for. And good feel good story. Glad this service is around. I am not ready to give up my water bottles yet!🤣🤣🤣
When I said how much it cost for caretaker. I talked about general here in Thailand and my prices for general also, but with Vincent who has a great heart and helping a lot of people out here. I don’t charge him a full price, I do way a lot less as a friend ( good friends. Good hearts and human being not for a business ) and we help each another for healthcare needs. And yet both of us wins❤ most important for us is spiritual paths that why we help each others and we both try to helping others people as much as we can help🥰 thank you. By the way I am Pen.🖊️
@@John-Ghow did you know he pay me 30000b plus meals, did I say that in video? No, I talked about my caretaker price in general, but that not what I change from Vincent.
@@rungnapawitchayanaratip822 Sorry, but Vincent's not in a "care facility", which is what the question was about and what I was replying to. And I'm afraid the figures you gave don't add up any more than the ones in the video did. He can't get a retirement extension for 1,900 baht a year, even with your help, with less than an overseas income of 65k per month, which he doesn't have. (Edit: unless he has more than 800,000 sitting in the bank here instead) You can't have a "good diet" for only 50 baht per person per day however much cooking you do yourself, unless you have a farm and live off it. I don't see the point in arguing about this as it simply isn't possible. 2nd edit: I think I've now understood the situation, and I honestly don't think it's in anyone's interest to go over this.
Hi Ryan i really enjoyed this video Vincent and pen seems beautiful people wish they had a channel I just don’t know if I’d have the nerve to have my neck cracked 😊Vincent certainly doesn’t waste time on doing it he’s like lighting thank you for sharing your video
"Who want to become happy in life has to collect what he can never loose" ... so I guess we talk about memories ... I don't if I could uphold the wish to contnue living if most of them are fading.
A very interesting story and great that people can be looked after with great care and compassion.. Not sure about all the trouble Vincent goes to regarding water. We have 6 large bottles of water delivered regularly, they take away the empties and obviously reuse them when they are refilled and it's very cheap.
With the water, it's all about keeping one's blood at the correct "Ph" level. I've read that the bottled water has a low (I think) Ph level and drinking too much can lower the blood Ph level, potentially leading to health issues.
Hi there looked up your link for the mushrooms 🍄 but couldn’t find any reishi mushrooms with that company so where do you get your reishi mushrooms from 🍄? Cheers love your work 🍄

Don’t downplay genetics, diet can only do so much. Everyone has a different expiration date. It’s all about finding the perfect recipe to maximize your shelf life.
Agreed
He only gets 46,000 per month, 30k to her 6k rent. that leaves 10k pm for everything else.
@@galdessa1 It was actually 9k for rent and utilities, leaving 7k for "everything else" - food for two, gas, petrol, Ph water from 7-11, visa, medical costs, etc.
Good luck with that.

Hello This is Vincent
I see from your comments that you wish to understand how I can live on $1420 a month in Pai, Thailand.
I do not keep track how I spend my money, but at the end of a month I have some extra to save.
I pay 9000B for rent and I do not pay Pen much. She take care of me out of kindness of her heart. I just pay for us to live a simple and comfortable life. We take care of each other.
Great series
Helpful and interesting. Thank you.
she's an angel
So much info to help people that want to move there. Tq
Great attitude for this gentleman. How lucky he is to have found his caretaker. I didn’t hear the cost of her services?

@@HelloImNotJohnnyCash Thanks I missed it
She doesn't say specifically, but 30,000 baht plus meals and probably incidental expenses such as petrol.
A very interesting vlog...thank you 🙏
Thanks for the advice 🙂
Great video, the care facilities in Thailand look amazing and very affordable on a western pension.
Unless you have considerably more than a state pension, they're not.
Do the maths.
@@John-Gmay you are not, but he is. I just give you the maths in other comments. And also not every people need care takers to take care of them.
(Edit: unless he has more than 800,000 sitting in the bank here instead)
You can't have a "good diet" for only 50 baht per person per day however much cooking you do yourself, unless you have a farm and live off it.
I don't see the point in arguing about this as it simply isn't possible.
2nd edit: I think I've now understood the situation, and I honestly don't think it's in anyone's interest to go over this.
Thank you for this video. I will get a PA myself and live in se Asia. This for me is a great option.
Hi Ryan i really enjoyed this video Vincent and pen seems beautiful people wish they had a channel I just don’t know if I’d have the nerve to have my neck cracked 😊Vincent certainly doesn’t waste time on doing it he’s like lighting thank you for sharing your video
Thank you Margaret 🙏
See, the man is a specialist, chiro....he can go anywhere in the world and he is ok use....Thailand has gotten richer with him being there.
Huge thanks for leaving the part about Pen's experience with the 💉

Couldn’t agree more 🙏
A very interesting story and great that people can be looked after with great care and compassion..
Excellent video❤
Thanks Helen 🙏
Hi there looked up your link for the mushrooms 🍄 but couldn’t find any reishi mushrooms with that company so where do you get your reishi mushrooms from 🍄? Cheers love your work 🍄

Im glad i watched this at start of day, quite heartwarming considering the amount of s*** in the world today.
Her English is very good. To have a caretaker who is also a friend is the primary foundation of a marriage, minus the “Western” financial drawbacks. Good for the both of them.
Thumbs up 👍
Lovely video
