    There’s no guarantee - because never know when you are in shedding mode and it’s only a question of time - your partner just have to love you enough to be prepared for that.

      Viral shedding happens more when having an outbreak... it decreases when not having an outbreak(still can happen just less)... Proper hygiene especially with natural products/soaps such as eucalyptus soap, tea tree oil soaps..etc in conjunction with healthy eating, vitamin supplements such as selenium, vitamin-C, vitamin D3, Zinc, Lysine (all natural antivirals or have antiviral properties), and/or antiviral meds can reduce viral shedding even more (when not having an outbreak).

      Kissing won't transmit genital herpes. It's skin to skin contact, so wherever you have it, that's where you're contagious.

    • @ifrankensteinsmonster
      @ifrankensteinsmonster หลายเดือนก่อน

      You won't transmit genital herpes via kissing, but you can if she's giving you oral and then she'll have oral herpes
      BTW once you've developed antibodies to your herpes, you can't transmit the virus to anywhere on your body... Example, you've genital herpes and you touch your penis and put the finger in your mouth or anywhere else, it won't transmit there... Your genitals is the only region, you'll have herpes outbreaks or symptoms... But you can still get oral herpes if you have oral contact with the other person having oral herpes

      If you take a daily antiviral and there is a 2-5% chance of shedding the virus. If you do not take daily antivirals there is a 5% chance of shedding the virus if you do nothave a current outbreak. Having a current outbreak or open sores is where you have a high risk of transmission. If you are not in a serious relationship or not quite comfortable make sure you wear condoms while not an active outbreak (cannot see any lesions or sores).

    My biggest problem is there really isn't a solution. If you have oral the only thing you can do is, never kiss, never share anything your mouth touches. You can't do anything. How can you be with a partner and never kiss them. You would have to find someone who already has it. Or the uninfected person has to have the risk until they have it.... So really I think you can't do anything other then find someone who already has it??

    I don't see how one can't pass it on, especially in a long term relationship. If shedding is happening and you can't time it or know when it's happening then it seems at some point it will being happening when you are intimate thinking its ok. If it doesn't get passed on then maybe there is some scientific reason some are more resistant to it, maybe ?

      Not everyone sheds. My friend told me that her husband avaoided her when they were dating. Thats when she got mad and he confessed that he had herpes and didnt want her to get it. She was upset at first, but he was crying and by then she already loved him and stayed. She never got it because he knew his body. waited a week after a outbreak. Now, there's people who don't get symptoms. Its called asymtomatic shedding. It's on the skin. This is how I get it. People think that Herpes is a dirty STI that someone who sleeps around gets but its not true. I had 1 4 yr relationship and this guy I knew for years. Everyone has had unprotected sex at some time, some were just unlucky.
