Hi my doctor told me I had it too but I never had any scores on my lips or down their ? , I do notice razor burns and in grown hairs sometimes on the public area . I think it due to shaving . brianna horen herpes can come in the form of razor bumps, ingrowns, sores or blisters and there are also people that are asymptomatic which means the virus is in your body (you have it) but you don't get the signs. Hope this helped

@@ye11atip its quite shocking at first. Its emotional because youre scared and you feel guilty. I recommend, checking what you eat so your skin doesnt have bad reactions and therefore no cold sores. And also adapt some sort of exercise routine throughout the week. Stay active! I took some supplements when i first found out i had both facial and genital herpes, but i wanted to see what would happen without them, so i stopped, and nothing changed. My body was fine. But everyones body has a different reaction to different choices.

Take Lysine supplements and you’ll almost NEVER have another outbreak. Take 2-4 pills a day…. It will keep the HSV 2 away. Get sleep, don’t eat junk food, and reduce stress.

I'm commenting because I got it at 18 and I am still a virgin. A family friend of whom I had no knowledge they had herpes, gave me a vape that they didn't like, which ended up containing the herpes virus on the mouth piece. You want complete relief from herpes. Try this treatment take two Zantac tablets place them up the nasal passages and hold them there for 15 minutes then blow them out. I've had herpes a long time. Everyone, it's okay. It's a mild disease and barely gives me symptoms. I tell every partner before I make love to them, they appreciate it and don't mind.
Please keep in mind that most people (but not all) have mild symptoms. That is not the case for everyone. My first outbreak lasted over a month and I was hospitalized twice with complications and couldn't walk (therefore work) for a week. Downplaying it (not saying you do this, but many people do) can be dangerous.

This has been one of the hardest months of my life. I found out I was pregnant. Went through the path I chose to take with that information. I was diagnosed with HSV 2 almost 2 years ago. Whoever reads this just know you are much more then a small rash that can come about every few years. Many are ignorant to what having herpes or any std means about who a person is and choose not to pursue something because of it. This does not mean you are unlovable romantically and sexually. When someone does come along who shows they do care about you for more then sex, the std will become something lesser that can be worked with rather then be a negative characteristic that can’t be seen past. Work on yourself and cherish the people who can appreciate who you are that come into your path. God bless🙏🏻

You don't just get them from sex. If your mom had them and gave birth to you, they could be transferred to you, they can be dormant until something triggers them such as a fever, cold, stress or other things.

This video is solely about genital herpes - meaning herpes on your genitals regardless of the type - and it is transferred through skin to skin contact during sexual activity (oral, vaginal, anal sex). Now if you're talking about types rather than locations, HSV1 can definitely be spread in other ways than sexually! As for neonatal herpes (which FYI only happens in 0.01% of deliveries, globally), it would be herpes indeed, but not genital herpes which like I said before is the only focus of this video. My bf and the one friend I talked to about it have been supportive and sit and listen to me talk about it and are super amazing when it comes to my pain from the sores, they’re constantly asking if I’m comfortable if they can get me anything to help, understanding that I want to change underwear, keeping me company on the phone while I soak in a bath, making sure I have my medications with me when we go somewhere and just all around supporting me, whereas my parents (who I currently live with) ask how I slept, don’t question me walking like a grandma, and don’t talk about it unless I bring it up first, my mom understands many people live with it even going as far as telling me how many people we know that have it and never once did I ever know before, and just sitting with me and just being amazing company so I don’t let it emotionally take a toll, people’s support right now is what’s getting me through the diagnosis and eventually become a support for my concerns in the future with having kids and knowing who will always be in my corner for when I need help or just someone to talk to and not make me feel anymore ashamed about it then I make myself
Thank you for this video. I am in disbelief after being diagnosed yesterday following a swab of three very small pimple like marks. So, one thing I am having to deal with is accepting I have this thing (hsv-2 in my case). I mean, I may have had it years and not known as the only certain way to tell is a swab during an outbreak, and even then I didn't really think it was hsv just maybe some irritation. I will be kind to myself and live my life, it's just something I need to adjust to. I am a male and I notice many of the comments are from women, but I can assure you I feel exactly the same as I am seeing from many of you. In a sense I wish I was ignorant to it, but I guess it's better to know to help me be responsible to others so they can make informed decisions should we get intimate - so I am giving myself a pat on the back for getting it checked and diagnosed as many will not (around 87% with it do not know they have it). I just got diagnosed last month and I must tell you that the doctors that I have worked with have been so detrimental about this like it is the worst thing that could’ve happened. I am a body positive, sexual positive person and something you said very close to home. I had an experience with somebody with good intentions. I was not actively seeking this disease, and the person that infected me did not know that he had it. The shame and embarrassment that have come with this has been really hard to deal with, especially because I met someone recently, and he expressed stigma against herpes before I had disclosed it to him. Once I did, it was not a good experience and I’m really hopeful that we can move past it.

I personally have not had the disease myself, but the guy looks pretty legit in my opinion. Tried his methods for hermariods and I stopped having stool problems since. I recently got told I have this, and it has made me in a really sad state of mind. I feel like I will never find someone who will love me because of this. I am currently going through the first outbreak. And it is MISERABLE! I can't sleep because all I think about is the pain. This is hard thing to deal with because of the stigma. But you truly are not alone. Helpful hints: Take L- lysine. Don't eat dairy products like milk & ice cream while you are taking it, it reduces the effectiveness. I get the brand Solaray in pill form with Vit C & rose hips, the new one has zinc & Vit B6 in it too. 1000mg bottle from Vitamin Shoppe. Take with a full stomach. Or you'll have an upset stomach. Or I use brand: SUNDOWN NATURALS L-lysine 500 mg bottle. Start off taking 1000 mg which is 3 pills from Solaray & 2 from Sundown Naturals. Both seem equally effective to me. As your body gets accustomed to taking L-lysine, you can take mega doses like 3000 -6000mg every 2 -3 hours during an outbreak or if u feel that tingling that lets you know you are abt to have an outbreak. Also, chocolate has l-arginine in it (which can cause herpes outbreaks) so don't eat chocolate or just eat a little bit & be sure to take L- lysine if u do for at least 5 -7 days. The other thing to take is Olive Leaf Extract. This stops shedding so u add less likely to spread the virus. I take pill form (Nature's Way) normally white & purple bottle. Try to get one that has more Olipurein in it. Or liquid: Barlean's brand. Don't drink coffee, it allows l-arginine to be absorbed more easily which can cause outbreaks. Be uplifted. Look for herpes cures. I believe it can be healed & cured one day.

brianna horen herpes can come in the form of razor bumps, ingrowns, sores or blisters and there are also people that are asymptomatic which means the virus is in your body (you have it) but you don't get the signs. Hope this helped

@@ye11atip its quite shocking at first. Its emotional because youre scared and you feel guilty. I recommend, checking what you eat so your skin doesnt have bad reactions and therefore no cold sores. And also adapt some sort of exercise routine throughout the week. Stay active! I took some supplements when i first found out i had both facial and genital herpes, but i wanted to see what would happen without them, so i stopped, and nothing changed. My body was fine. But everyones body has a different reaction to different choices.

You want complete relief from herpes. Try this treatment take two Zantac tablets place them up the nasal passages and hold them there for 15 minutes then blow them out. I've had herpes a long time. Everyone, it's okay. It's a mild disease and barely gives me symptoms. I tell every partner before I make love to them, they appreciate it and don't mind.

Please keep in mind that most people (but not all) have mild symptoms. That is not the case for everyone. My first outbreak lasted over a month and I was hospitalized twice with complications and couldn't walk (therefore work) for a week. Downplaying it (not saying you do this, but many people do) can be dangerous.

No one has cared so far actually. Me and my ex were together for 2 years and broke up for unrelated reasons and we still talk and are friends. Herpes hasn’t stopped me from doing anything so it really isn’t a big deal at all.

Whoever reads this just know you are much more then a small rash that can come about every few years. Many are ignorant to what having herpes or any std means about who a person is and choose not to pursue something because of it. This does not mean you are unlovable romantically and sexually. When someone does come along who shows they do care about you for more then sex, the std will become something lesser that can be worked with rather then be a negative characteristic that can’t be seen past. Work on yourself and cherish the people who can appreciate who you are that come into your path. God bless🙏🏻

Yes! My bf and the one friend I talked to about it have been supportive and sit and listen to me talk about it and are super amazing when it comes to my pain from the sores, they’re constantly asking if I’m comfortable if they can get me anything to help, understanding that I want to change underwear, keeping me company on the phone while I soak in a bath, making sure I have my medications with me when we go somewhere and just all around supporting me, whereas my parents (who I currently live with) ask how I slept, don’t question me walking like a grandma, and don’t talk about it unless I bring it up first, my mom understands many people live with it even going as far as telling me how many people we know that have it and never once did I ever know before, and just sitting with me and just being amazing company so I don’t let it emotionally take a toll, people’s support right now is what’s getting me through the diagnosis and eventually become a support for my concerns in the future with having kids and knowing who will always be in my corner for when I need help or just someone to talk to and not make me feel anymore ashamed about it then I make myself

Thank you for this video. I am in disbelief after being diagnosed yesterday following a swab of three very small pimple like marks. So, one thing I am having to deal with is accepting I have this thing (hsv-2 in my case). I mean, I may have had it years and not known as the only certain way to tell is a swab during an outbreak, and even then I didn't really think it was hsv just maybe some irritation. I will be kind to myself and live my life, it's just something I need to adjust to.
I am a male and I notice many of the comments are from women, but I can assure you I feel exactly the same as I am seeing from many of you. In a sense I wish I was ignorant to it, but I guess it's better to know to help me be responsible to others so they can make informed decisions should we get intimate - so I am giving myself a pat on the back for getting it checked and diagnosed as many will not (around 87% with it do not know they have it). I just got diagnosed last month and I must tell you that the doctors that I have worked with have been so detrimental about this like it is the worst thing that could’ve happened. I am a body positive, sexual positive person and something you said very close to home. I had an experience with somebody with good intentions. I was not actively seeking this disease, and the person that infected me did not know that he had it. The shame and embarrassment that have come with this has been really hard to deal with, especially because I met someone recently, and he expressed stigma against herpes before I had disclosed it to him. Once I did, it was not a good experience and I’m really hopeful that we can move past it.

pablo gonzalez if your mum is a nurse then she will understand how this works. It has nothing to do with your sexuality. Show her some facts 4.3 billion people have herpes! It's just that you're showing some symptoms of it which you can be treated for and you may never get an outbreak again but if you do it's just like treating a spot on your face, they go away! Try and stay positive use this as an opportunity to stay more in tune with your body, build up your immune system, have open, honest questions with sexual partners (which a lot of people don't), don't let the stigma deter you!

I recently got told I have this, and it has made me in a really sad state of mind. I feel like I will never find someone who will love me because of this. I am currently going through the first outbreak. And it is MISERABLE! I can't sleep because all I think about is the pain. I can't use the bathroom at all because the pain is unbearable, and showering and using an icepack just burns. I heard that taking a salt bath would help but I am afraid it'll burn too. Today actually, after my like fifth break down called the hospital to help me. The doctor gave me a numbing cream which so far has worked and pills to help me sleep at night because of how tired I am from this and staying up all night.
I have no idea how to still comprehend this and the future outbreaks. Especially being an active person, and just starting out college where lots of my experiences will be controlled by how I am feeling.

Yes I get that it will be very hard. But how I see it is if the guy truely loves me he won't care. It's not life threatening and won't kill ya, but it will be difficult. I recently went and got checked and the doctor said I’ve been exposed to both Type 1 & Type 2 but the disease is not active. Can someone explain to me? I set up another appointment but this time at a health department I just don’t wanna believe that I have it. The first outbreak is really only when you might experience cold/flu-like symptoms. After that, I really is just reoccurring sores. SOMETIMES. some people don’t even ever show symptoms.
Have you tried any holistic methods in terms of healing and ridding the virus of your body all together? This is hard thing to deal with because of the stigma. But you truly are not alone. Helpful hints: Take L- lysine. Don't eat dairy products like milk & ice cream while you are taking it, it reduces the effectiveness. I get the brand Solaray in pill form with Vit C & rose hips, the new one has zinc & Vit B6 in it too. 1000mg bottle from Vitamin Shoppe. Take with a full stomach. Or you'll have an upset stomach. Or I use brand: SUNDOWN NATURALS L-lysine 500 mg bottle. Start off taking 1000 mg which is 3 pills from Solaray & 2 from Sundown Naturals. Both seem equally effective to me. As your body gets accustomed to taking L-lysine, you can take mega doses like 3000 -6000mg every 2 -3 hours during an outbreak or if u feel that tingling that lets you know you are abt to have an outbreak. Also, chocolate has l-arginine in it (which can cause herpes outbreaks) so don't eat chocolate or just eat a little bit & be sure to take L- lysine if u do for at least 5 -7 days. The other thing to take is Olive Leaf Extract. This stops shedding so u add less likely to spread the virus. I take pill form (Nature's Way) normally white & purple bottle. Try to get one that has more Olipurein in it. Or liquid: Barlean's brand. Don't drink coffee, it allows l-arginine to be absorbed more easily which can cause outbreaks. Be uplifted. Look for herpes cures. I believe it can be healed & cured one day.

I work in the medical field and I'm well aware that as far as chronic conditions go, this is pretty trivial, but I was recently diagnosed. You can have a blood test, so prob a family practioner can order the tests. Or an ER doctor.
