I have to say, full credits to everyone involved in the making of this video. The editing, camera angles and soundtrack were all top-class. It’s the best car review I’ve seen in some time. Perhaps it was helped by the fact that this 296 GTS in Blu Corsa is one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. Definitely at the top of my list of dream cars to own. Ferrari have smashed it with this one.
The Ferrari 296 GTS must rate as one of Maranello s finest. Based on the 296 GTB the GTS has gained some weight due to chassis strengthening. Though the extra weight hasn't effected the handling nor the performance. There seam's to be no stopping the Prancing Horse from Maranello.

Mr Denisson, the V8 has not been consigned to the history books. it is pretty much still in use in the flagship SF90 Stradale, as well as in the Roma and the Portofino M.
Great videography, commentary, car, scenery, modern TH-cam playhead controls, picture resolution, modern smartphone screen, sound.... the experience of technical progress in use as I watched this video was incredible.
The hottest hardtop convertible ever. I don't mind such small extra weight as 1) There's a turbocharged engine that produces more torque which should be more than make up for that alone. 2) Electric motors have instant torque that performance wise, you'll not notice that extra weight. Still have issues with the extra weight on the GTS? Then how about a Acura/Honda NSX Type S? This GTS is my dream car.

I see a few different cars in this model. I see the general shape/roofline from side to rear with rood up 458'ish, front side angled 2022 Corvette, the rear side angle slightly McLaren 675? 800hp!! Wow!!! Its an auto i suppose. No manual option?
This v6 engine sounds much better than the v8. Its got tonage and range where the v8 blare's...Still unsure of the looks , the front has no face , think it's the lights that dont work for me..Still , I'll take the rest and 819hp all day every day.
Stunningly beautiful sports car of course the price is ridiculous. Money no object wow! Roof off is a great driving experience . In america real people can afford rear mid engine targa and convertible hard top corvettes which is what I daily drive in the NEw York metro area and on weekends mountain passes are mine to enjoy. Meh, as amazing these modern hybrids are, makes me long more and more for less advanced n/a cars of any kind. The only modern fast car which makes me swoon is the new Ferris Pure Blood V12. Add equal length headers and done.
Possibly this level of performance isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Which is precisely what some competitors have kept in mind. Isn’t all this (very impressive) technology a bit pointless for driving on open roads at reasonable speeds ? When the most and the best and the fastest are barely enough, things start to look like an entrapment.
Wow that video...considering topics like climate change etc. i've lost interest in supercars a little in the last years. But Ferrari with the 296 got me again. And the videography just got me a little emotional at the end. Somehow like meeting an old friend after some years... 🥲
