I wanted to give the highest interpretations of both characters. I wanted to be as generous and charitable with both characters as possible.
So if you don’t think Leon can run or do things at a superhuman level that’s fine to, I just wanted to downplay both characters as little as possible. 🙏

you either forgot or didnt know this, but Isaac actually does have a form of military/paramilitary training as he was a Merchant Marine before becoming an (Edit: Full-time) Engineer. could explain why Isaac had clearance to buy the Pulse Rifle from the start in DS1.
If they’re fully geared, Isaac can just use prototype stasis and roflstomp Leon. But if they’re fighting hand to hand, Leon wins in no time. But the REAL point I’d like to make is that there’s no universe where these two guys would not be bros. They’d be getting a drink and swapping war stories in no time.
In hand to hand, Isaac wins for a few reasons, he isn't a superior fighter but he is way faster, stronger, his reaction time is faster, he is also way more durable than Leon, and he can endure way more damage before dying than a normal human. Take away everything, and Leon still wouldn't be able to stop him from punching a hole through his chest, give Leon his guns and Isaac might still win as he has been shot with hypersonic submachine guns without armor on and walked it off only losing about a quarter of his health.
If you don't understand what that means a 9mm pistol hits with 400 to 500 joules, a 12 Guage normally hits with 3000 to 4000 however Isaac's weakest weapon, the pulse rifle hits with 128,536.8 joules per shot as a triple barreled machine railgun. These hypersonic submachine guns while not equal to the pulse rifle, they are comparable to it and Isaac took I believe 7 shots to his organs and was fine.
@@deadman9335isaac is incredibly durable he's basically super human. Both cutscenes and in gameplay. Same with leon, It's hard to tell which is a valid source to base things on. Isaac can tank attacks in his civilian clothes because it's in gameplay...or is it? Hard to tell unless based on a book or the writers themselves. But overall, isaac has superior tech both in weaponry and armor

The thing is that Issac is from the future, his equipment is an edge.
On the other hand, Leon is greater than most people while Issac is an Everyman until he gets brain rot with the marker.
So it’s simple.
Will they fight with Issac having his full equipment?
Or will they fight butt naked.
The results speak for themselves on each situation.
Not really, sure with his equipment, he is probably 1 shoting Leon with everything but But naked, he is still an Augmented human thanks to the rigs he has worn, they permanently alter your body to the point where even when he wasn't wearing his class 4 or 5 rig for 3 years and he was malnourished in a straight jacket he could still kick a necromorph with 9000 pounds of force, his standard strike always measure in the several ton range, his reaction time was permanently altered where is massively hypersonic, he can take way more damage than a normal human, and he has shown to physically move at speeds of mach 17.6 to dodge and blitz someone albeit only for a single second however that is all he would need. Isaac as a character is just broken, almost my entire channel is detected to this.

@@deadman9335 I disagree. Isaac Clarke is underrated, and he has good feats, but Leon trumps him.
Just to clear up one thing as well, but Isaac does not move at mach 17. No offense, but that’s just an exaggeration without much evidence to back it up. Dead Space’s sci-fi universe is utilitarian and more on the realistic side when it comes to physics (with exceptions in Dead Space 3), so mach 17 would kill Isaac immediately, even in his suit.
But onto why Leon would beat Isaac. He’s just ridiculously superhuman. Plain and simple.
Isaac’s suit and kit are very good additions. It has allowed him to survive immense g-force falls, thrashings from necromorphs, gives him an impressive amount of strength and durability, and Isaac himself is a very intelligent individual.
But he doesn’t have much on Leon. For starters, Leon is a master in most martial arts, and his feats are just ridiculous for human standards. This is the same guy who casually dodges bullets and casually jumped 50 feet. Not only that, but he held open a mutated shark’s mouth with his feet, tanked some direct hits from Saddler who’d thrash necromorphs, and also pushed a giant boulder. There’s still other ridiculous feats of his, but I don’t think people understand how overpowered Leon is.
Isaac is a normal engineer who finds himself in a very competent and advanced suit. Leon is a guy who goes from rookie cop to the world’s most skilled superhuman. Dead Space is a sci-fi which takes itself very seriously, and Resident Evil is the same, but it’s rather a game that takes itself seriously in a very anime way.
As a longtime fanboy of both characters, your reasoning was pretty spot on. Another feat from Isaac at the beginning of Dead Space 2 was that he canonically gets impaled through the chest by a slasher with no armor on and still manages to kill it despite being in a straight jacket, then walks it off. This man had no clue where he was, what was going on and just ran off of pure survival instinct. I love Leon but another point I want to add is that he gets his ass beat regularly in RE 4 and the movies. He has this habit of picking fights with clearly bigger guys and getting shit on. The first time he sees Chief Mendez, tries to roundhouse him and gets knocked out. Second time, he breaks into Mendez’s house, gets choked out with no effort and let go by luck. Within a minute, Leon tries to go for round 2 in his bedroom and gets his ass beat again, needing Ada to save him. Then later on, Ada has to save him again from Krauser during their knife fight. In half the CG movies, he’s left at the mercy of the main monster, being held up in one hand just seconds from death until someone else conveniently saves him.
But the biggest factor is just that Isaac fights and is protected by advanced technology 500 years into the future which makes Leon look like a caveman in comparison. It’s just really unfair with Isaac living in the year 2508.

To add onto what you said about Issac getting stabbed while he’s running through the medical center at the start of 2, he ALSO gets impaled TWICE at the end by Tideman with the Javelin and just, rips them out???
Granted it leave him critically wounded but still. Also great points about Leon, I totally forgot that yeah he does get whooped by Menendez constantly throughout RE4 lol.
He loses a lot more often than people realize especially now that I’m looking back at it.

@@deltaprimis3045 I don't blame you, I would have said the chapter number if I remembered, I know chapter 7 is the ship and 8 is the crash landing but everything after that is hard to discern without playing it. I am pretty sure it is before the Nexus dissection but I could be wrong, its all snow and run down buildings until you get to the machine.

It talks about Isaac's past as well as his parents and how they both died because Isaac's mother went insane and killed both him and herself.
Possibly the most rational comparison I had to listen to.
Both characters progress their weaponry throughout their respective games.
Both characters really went through a lot. Making them more experienced in their following sequels.
I don't really do "Who vs Who" fights because you'll end up talking in circles with no conclusion at the end.
I don’t know much abt resident evil but Leons biggest feat is killing simmons no? That guy was no joke but Isaac killed a moon sized eldritch horror.
Just wanted to point out that in the lore: the dead space assault rifle fires REALLY REALLY LOW calibre rounds that are designed to mushroom on impact, they're supposed to transfer as much kinetic energy into a target as possible while penetrating the skin as little as possible. it's purpose is to cripple and to incapacitate, but not kill, since it's often only licensed to security/police who are supposed to keep lethality to a minimum. It was also given to the soldiers on the USG Valor though, since their mission was to capture and interrogate (and only probably *maybe* exterminate) the entire USG Ishimura crew.
obviously, that doesn't stop Issac from going on a Doom™ style rampage across space with the rifle since gameplay almost always differs from lore, but still worth thinking about

@@EightUltra unfortunately I can't remember *exactly* where, but the inventory descriptions of the pulse rifle and it's ammo in dead space 1 & 2 are some pretty thick sources, as well as a fistful of text logs throughout dead space 2. I wish I knew which logs though

@@RHans621 that's actually the lore reason why the pulse rifle still works against them. The necromorphs still use bones to move around and those rounds easily break those bones. In gameplay an appendage with the bones exposed will always break and dismember it if the bone is hit.

Leon is 1000% a better fighter - he’s become a meme of himself for that. By far the best RE main character who I will always root for.
Isaac not only has the OBTUSE advantage with firepower, specialized tech, and armor, but MOST importantly in situational awareness and raw intelligence.
So assuming it’s one-on-one with both characters’ full arsenals? Isaac takes it almost immediately.
Oh, and if we allow Leon the infinite rocket launcher, Isaac gets the foam hand, and we all know what the “pew pew” does to organics…
Issac’s adaptability is also insane kinda adding onto what you said about situational awareness and intelligence.
Going from a guy who’s probably never experienced a combat situation to a one man army able to fight both Necromorphs and a military trained militia is insane

@@MWDFrancis the infinite rocket launcher wouldn't be a problem for Isaac even if we denied him the foam finger gun. Kinesis can catch rockets and throw them back to the sender, and if Leon uses the thermobaric red RPG then he is even worse off for obvious reasons.

Me and my friend had this debate about who would win, and this was our break down of this matchup.
In terms of strength, it's pretty relative, Isaac was able to punch through steel grades and stomp limbs off and sometimes punch limbs off human/necromorph bodies. He was also able to knock and push back necromorphs as well, for example he headbutted a necromorph in the beginning of Dead Space 2 without any pain. Leon could parry objects with a kitchen knife and cut limbs clean off, he's also strong enough to break a zombie's neck with one roundhouse kick. Not to mention Leon held an infection shark's mouth open. He also pushed a boulder (although he needed help for that).
When it comes to destructive power/capabilities Isaac has the advantage. The Kinesis he could use to throw anything a such fast speed, including explosives as well. He has way more advanced superior weaponry which half of them aren't even real guns expect the pulse rifle. Most of his weaponry are engineering tools/mining tools which are meant for destructive capabilities. Which also means he outclasses Leon in weaponry as well.
Speed, reflexes and agility go straight to Leon, no explanation, although Isaac also did dodge a javelin at point blank range. Now to be fair, Isaac is only faster in terms of travel speed (because of the thrusters).
Durability goes to Isaac, even without his rig he's tanked stabs from necromorphs who are strong enough to break through steel, arguably stronger than most Resident Evil zombies. Some necromorphs can even destroy thick layer walls and even armor at times, Isaac tanked hits from these things without a rig. Which means Isaac with is armor is even more durable, plus the with the upgrades you could get with his rig which makes even more durable again. He also somehow survived in the vacuum of space without his helmet on for 5 seconds
Combat skill Leon does heavily outclass Isaac of course, and also battle iq and experience he checkmates Isaac. However, raw skill in terms of tactical thinking and self-awareness Isaac outclasses Leon. Isaac was able to pilot ships with ease, able to hot wire electronics, he can hack into them as well. And when it comes to intelligence, Isaac has an advantage.
So, in conclusion, Isaac wins this with low difficulty. The only way Leon can tip this in his favor is if he closes the gap between himself and Isaac turning into a fist fight which he would kick Isaac's ass. However, Isaac's biggest win con the fact he could use stasis to freeze Leon and shoot him dead. So yes, Isaac wins this fight pretty easily.
I would say leon is gonna put up a great fight and i think leave a few marks and cuts but issac is gonna come out on top i think some of leons weapons would eventually penetrate if they are strong enough and i mean if cause only the ammo type will do it not cause oh lets upgrade firepower cause thats not how that crap works but yea well said bro. Tho i wonder could leon survive dead space and could issac survive resident evil
@@Mortal1021 Isaac still has a huge technological advantage over Leon still not matter what weapon from his verse he has, I don’t count his infinite bazooka because that’s a joke weapon. I’m mostly talking about them at their peak capabilities, which I believe Isaac would come out on top because the 500 year gap in weaponry. It’s like having a Warhammer 40k space marine fight a modern day US Army Soldier, to put it lightly.
In terms of if the roles were swapped, if they have their weapons from their games. Isaac cuts through every enemy like a hot knife through butter and Leon dies fighting the first boss.

I don't see Issac Clarke and Leon Kennedy as Enemies. I see them more as Allies against the Horrors of both universes where they would help each other out against the Zombies and Necromorphs.
Forgot to mention isaac clarke dismembering necromorph limbs is considered super human strength due to the necromorph being extremely more durable then human, they can take multiple hit from a plasma cutter and we all know plasma cutter shoot a laser/plasma energy that used for mining, so isaac clarke punch and stomp is capable to dismembering a limb from a superhuman being so if it was a hand to hand combat isaac can most likely kill leon with a punch or a stomp in my opinion
Edit: fun fact isaac clarke can also dismember a brute limbs or even kill him with melee
More durable don’t mean super human and by that statement Chris boukder and FTL reaction feats in comics and games and lore stating Leon is right there with him in speed and power means current Leon will solo Ishimura without suit or he would only need it for the in space bits

@@benedictbened601 the reason they can tank more damage is because organs and muscles that are no longer needed are fused together to strengthen the limbs and body of the necromorphs.
There’s never going to be a fair fight for these two. In order for either of them to compete in their natural element, you’d have to take the other out of his. No-equipment Isaac Clarke is like asking for no-training Leon Kennedy. You’re asking monster-slayers to nerf themselves.

Isaac Clarke vs Leon Kennedy is basically Batman vs Iron Man from survival horror in the sense that both characters belong in different battle styles.
Leon is a trained agent and specializes in hand-to-hand combat, while Isaac is a ranged combatant and benefits from his weapons and armor although he has proven at least competent in hand-to-hand combat.
I feel that Isaac's technological advantage and his own ability to adapt could give him the victory, Leon will definitely not be able to get past kinesis, which is almost instantaneous and can trap living things as seen in dead space extraction, in addition to that Isaac's armor gives him more consistent durability feats than Leon's, who saves most of his plot armor, Isaac's weapons are definitely much more destructive and versatile than Leon's reportorium anyway
It's absolutely crazy the amount of people clueless about power scaling and using real life logic to compare them.

Xeno vs the thing is simple if the thing can deal with acid blood then the thing wins if not then the xeno still loses cuz then only way to really kill the thing is by burning it and I don't see xenos having flame thrower options the thing would body the xeno and realize it has acid blood then she'd the skin that does not have the acid blood on it but that's only if we say the acid blood even effects the thing
Look Leon is easily my favorite RE character but my man is not winning a battle against Isaac Clark!🤣 Isaac with just his lore accurate suit (level 3) and the plasma cutter folds Leon like a wallet. Now hand to hand, no weapons, and no armor…Leon kick flips the taste out of Isaac’s mouth. But we’re debating the peak capabilities of both not a boxing match.

As a Dead Space nerd I'd just want to say in the novel/comics of DS Isaac was part of a military reserve unit or something of that nature so he does have formal firearm training and CQB training. It's nowhere near Leon's proficiency but it is canon
Give Isaac some more credit, the guy was in the Merchant Marines. Then in DS2 he manages to disarm both Stross and Tiedemann with very military-style techniques, but to be fair neither of them were wearing strength-enhancing exosuits like Isaac.
I also remember there being a scale at the start of DS2 when you get your first suit which points out that Isaac weighs 195lbs in the patient outfit, and then 255lbs with the engineering suit, weighing about the same as or slightly more than a suit of medieval plate armor.
You missed the fact that both are very smart individuals that would more than likely work together.
And both are known to pair up with battle buddies.

When it comes to weapons Dead Space 3 has the most broken OP guns in the series. The custom weapons the games allows you to make like a slow-mo upper & aoe lower weapons that slows them down when you land a hit then blows them up. I don't know any survival horror MC that could fight against that.

Coming from someone who plays both games almost religiously, I tried to be fair and finish this video proper but there are glaring issues for both sides along the way that make this far from a proper analysis.
I wanna start with Isaac:
- The Pulse Rifle fires low-caliber/less-than lethal bullets meant for target suppression/ pacification, which we can infer on that, they're glorified rubber rounds (though not the same material) and acting somewhat like frangibles used primarily by US Air Marshalls.
- When Isaac fought the Tormentor, those weren't merely canisters of ammunition Isaac shot, those were full on explosive cluster bombs (which makes the feat crazier) as evidenced by concept art and ripping the original model in a 3D viewer. (Ignore the Wiki saying they're fuel canisters.)
- Isaac's suits while they may be durable, aren't without weakness. Case in point, Stross (possibly inadvertently) striking Isaac's RIG causing his helmet to fail and retract back into the suit leaving Isaac vulnerable to a pokey-poke by Stross. So, imagine what a well-placed bullet traveling much faster than a screwdriver will do.
- As for the Seeker Rifle and the Pulse Rifle, again, only one is actually meant to be lethal, not to discount the Pulse Rifles lethality.
Note (The semantics): Using AR to represent "assault rifle" I can get why, but its use is still odd to use since AR is used to denote Armalite Rifle in real life. Also, in respects to both characters, Isaac's Pulse Rifle is miscategorized because nothing suggests it's capable of select-fire like a real assault rifle. As for Leon, the only assault rifle in Leon's inventory would be in the remake with the CQBR (Colt 933) since it's select-fire.
Now for Leon, he was SEVERELY downplayed despite the fact we can quantify some arguments:
- The argument that most of Leon's weapons would "probably" be ineffective against Isaac falls on its face since you proved Pulse Rifles used by Unitologists (even Tedemann's security forces) hunting Isaac have been proven to hurt significantly or outright finish him despite rounds being less-than lethal meaning Issac's armor can still fail when damaged enough.
- Now let's do some quick math on the ammo that can be verified to quantify what Leon is working with:
55 grain .223 Remington: (Taken from 4 different Manufacturers) - muzzle velocities reach, 3200-4000 fps/ muzzle energies reach, 1059-1642 lbs.
5.7x28: (Taken from 2 manufacturers as this ammo is very hard to come by) muzzle velocities reach 1050-2050 fps/ muzzle energies reach 152-282 lbs. Let's not forget R&D for this round was paid for by NATO as a means to defeat soft armor which really bode well for Isaac's suit.
Shotguns: As evidenced by what the box says in-game, they're buckshot (which gauges vary,) but most common are 12 gauge which if you didn't know, have 14 pellets with each pellet is comparable to 9mm. Here's another tidbit: regardless of if one has a NIJ certified/ tested plate carrier, the force of 12 gauge can still collapse the target's chest cavity resulting in a fatality meaning, Isaac may have all that armor, but the force of the buckshot is still being transferred to him.
RPGs: All I can say is, what videos do you watch where "RPGs are slow?" Look at Brandon Herrera firing an 'inert' one and see how "slow" it moves. There is no way Isaac is catching one to throw back. He'd be getting turned into paste if he tried.
- Bullets don't work like you think they do either because as those numbers I just pointed out, all that energy has to go somewhere, and guess where that "somewhere" is? Ding! Issac.
- With Leon being LEO and MIL trained, it's obvious he'd have worked different shooting drills, i.e.: is the target up armored? "Low-ready, shoot pelvis" as you're coming up. Or "two-chest, one head," because even if Isaac has his helmet, his brain is still being rattled by bullet contact, and enough of that can leave bro disoriented (look at footage war footage from early 2000s.) Another effective drill being "shoulder-shoulder-head," since Isaac's shoulders tend to be exposed, and can't use his tools if he loses his shoulders.
- Let's also not forget Leon has range advantage with his firearms. HK Sl8 for example has a 20-inch barrel with 1:7 twist, meaning Leon could take it out about 450-500 yards with 55 grain .223, being accurate enough to treat Isaac's dome piece like a point-and-click adventure. Even mil-spec weapons like the Colt 933 can be taken out to distance, though still not as good as something with a longer barrel like the Sl8 (I should know, I take my 12-inch 1:7 twist 5.56/.223 out to 75-110 yards casually.)
In conclusion because I've sat here longer than I'd like to admit: Making a video pitting two characters against each other, call it "The Honest Truth," and say you want to "downplay both characters as little as possible," while glossing over statistics and feats of both characters in your research feels disingenuous and/or biased regardless of what's said toward the end.
The plasma cutter more or less single handily dog walks Leon’s entire arsenal in firepower and practicality 😂😂 and it’s a damn mining tool.
Leon is the better fighter, tactician and marksmen…but the near 500 year gap in technology is a huge deal breaker here.
For better perspective if they had the same equipment layout Leon would curb stomp him. It’s not a super hard matchup honestly lol

These types of fights are interesting because they’re highly reliant on the context of their own win conditions. As you said, at range, or in a fist fight without any armor, Leon wins handily. But in a no holds barred, everything goes fight, Isaac has too many really powerful advantages like technology and raw firepower.
Leon stomps most other survival horror main characters, but Isaac isn’t like other horror characters. He’s not a skilled but has tech that FAR outclasses anything in RE universe, has dealt with shit by himself that would make tyrants crap themselves, and has too many bullshit abilities and has survived way too many events that would kill a normal person.

As I watched this, I couldn’t help but think about all of the throwables Leon has, like the flash grenade. When it goes off, it creates a flash that Stuns all nearby enemies. Even though it explodes on impact, there could be the argument of reaction time. That’s where the PRL 412 comes in. With just the pull of a trigger, it creates a blinding flash that instantly disorients any hostiles in the area. Using this, Leon could stun Isaac, allowing him to close the gap and create a more fair fight. Great video, I enjoyed watching!

As @@frankkennedy6388 said, the only way the PRL would have any lasting effect on Issac would be if was already infected with Las Plagas. Otherwise, it's just a hand-held lights show. As far as grenades and Rockets go, Issac has two VERY effective counters, stasis field, and telekinesis modual. All Issac would have to do is use the stasis on either the grenade or rockets launched/thrown at him then use telekinesis to throw them back. No matter how you splice this, Issac wins. It's all about a difference in technology, and Issac's technology is just far more advanced.

Actually Issac does have a bit of military training. It was in the remake I think, he was training with a squad of soldiers and was referred to as being more creative and adaptable than them in combat situations.
Let’s just talk about the fact that necromorphs make regular zombies look like puppies and kittens. The transformation are way more intense way more dangerous and their numbers are so numerous that it literally add another level of danger that Leon has never had to deal with. True a tyrant may be to beat most necros but one hive mind could crush a tyrant in any of its forms. Issac has the advantage in experience, versatility ,adaptability and variety. Leon on occasion fights monster with some minor form of intelligence. Issac fights monster that are cunning fast look for ambushes attack in numbers and have a hive mind mentality. So my guy’s Leon does not even compare in any category.

If you wanted to make it even semi-fair, Convert Isaac's equipment to modern equivalents or improve Leon's to the futures. That being the case, Leon wins hands down. But let's be real, Issac isn't formidable so much as his tech is overpowered lol. Leon came by his skills honestly. In my mind, Leon wins, but that's putting them on equal tech levels. I do think that Leon would be able to easily out-strategize Isaac, but that's presuming he could survive that first initial confrontation which is unlikely due to abilities such as kinesis.

I looked at the Stasis shot and it seemingly fires real quick so Leon wouldn't be able to outrun it. Isacc isn't affected by his own Stasis, only enemies can use Stasis on him.
Leon is just more skilled in firearms and combat. It wouldn't be fair for him to beat Isacc, who is adept to engineering and utilizing the environment with Stasis and Kinesis thanks to his experience.
Stasis actually does affect the user. Was playing DS1 earlier and there’s a poster in-game that is about stasis safety warning users to be careful so they don’t use it on themselves. Figured it was just a gameplay QOL thing that you couldn’t hit yourself with it since that would be super annoying lol

Durability:he can tank multiple hits from punches that can break concrete without a vest and has survived multiple fatal crashes.
Extras:Hold off a chainsaw with a knife,Fought Jill and Chris to a standstill,killed mr.X,William birkin,several types of tyrants,Simmons,a military island,jack krauser,Maria gomez and can handle several toxic environments with no drawbacks or permanent injuries.

Just saying. In Dead Space 3 people could take damage from Isaac's weapons like the plasma cutter and live if it wasn't a headshot. Not sure if they had special armor or something, by the looks of it, unitologists were wearing simple winter coats. Also kenesis can't straight up pull limbs off the necromorphs while they're active on it's own. It needed to be buffed by that blue circle platform in 3 in order to do that. Then again, there's stasis... I totally believe it'll help Isaac win
I’m pretty sure a lot of the Unitologists were wearing some form of armor (for example the ones in the opening section I believe were wearing tactical vests) so they Likley have those under the coats
Also doesn’t help that the dismemberment system is much less of a focus in DS3 since it leaned more into being a standard cover shooter. Even Necromorphs died pretty easy from body shots despite that not at all being tbe case in the lore or other games.
Not to mention the plasma cutter was GIGA NERFED and any weapon that wasn’t an amalgamation of multiple weapons at once were so underpowered.
Think that stuff may just be more of a side effect of EA’s influence unfortunately 🫠

It would have been interesting to examine Leon's feats in the animated movies and series. With a gun, he's the Resident John Wick. With a motorcycle, he's the Resident Dante Sparda. Also, he's insanely good at instinctively analyzing any situation, threat, room or object and instantly finding creative and efficient ways to get the upper hand. He's not just one of Resident Evil's best fighters : He's the very definition of a born survivor. Besides, he has so much experience fighting all kinds of BOWs that it wouldn't take long for him to figure out how to terminate a Necromorph. I'm not saying Leon would win against Isaac, but it would have been nice to take all that into account as well. Still, an entertaining video that just earned you a subscription. 🐱

Issac wouldn't even be aware that he's fighting a human being, by the end of Dead Space 1 his brain is a complete rot. I don't believe that all necromorphs Issac engages throughout the games to be necromorphs but the marker screwing with his head. I don't think the idea of a Leon vs Issac is interesting, what is more interesting is how long Leon will last against the marker.
Okay with out even watching the video, I can honestly already tell you who would win. Simply put this comes down to a difference in technology, while Leon is the better fighter of the two, and has an impressive arsenal for his era, Issac's space age weapons and armor far out class what ever Leon could muster. Add to the fact that Issac can easily power up his weapons to near God tear destructive capability and its no contest. I love Leon as a character, but I would have to hand it to Issac.

If you give Leon all of Issac’s tech and levelled the playing field then I would argue that Leon would win because he can apply all his military training to his new equipment (issac’s tech) and easily make it work. Might take him some time to adjust but we’ve seen from Leon in game that he’s quick to figure things out
I would actually just like to add to this it would be interesting seeing Leon go up against like frank west or chuck greene because you would say “oh they’re just average guys” but you see both of them go toe to toe with military personnel especially with frank at the end of the first game. Plus RE and DR are both capcom games so it’s just interesting to think about

A standard projectile from an RPG-7 launcher travels nearly 1000 feet (300m) per second at maximum velocity, that isn't slow.
A standard 9mm bullet flies 1150 feet per second. Which is what I was comparing it to when I said immediately after “it’s not like a bullet”
Also, unlike bullets, the projectile from an RPG doesn’t launch at maximum velocity. Meaning humans can react to it to some degree, unlike a bullet. Which was the entire point of me saying that.

I agree that Isaac has the tech edge. But I don't think you're giving leon enough credit in the dodging category. For starters, we do know how fast the kinesis projectile moves. Because we can see it in game. And if Isaac is aiming directly at leon, then he can dodge it and not have to worry about the AOE. Lastly, I wouldn't argue that Isaac has superhuman reaction times, even against the stasis necromorphs. We, the player, control Isaac, and we don't have those reaction times, but we're able to handle them. They're moving fast, but not so fast that you need to be superhuman to beat them.
All that said, yeah. Leon is the better fighter overall, but Isaac just has a crazy technology advantage.
Now, if we put leon on the tech level, it's leon city, no diff. Lol

I might be wrong But I don’t see why Leon wouldn’t be able to dodge it pretty easily
And Will be pretty hard for Isaac to hit him when Leon has such a speed advantage and strength in my opinion
You undermine Leon speed. Leon did have bullet dodging feats and fought numerous BOWs that automic fire. So in a way he can speedblitz. And the weapons in RE universe are stronger that their irl counterparts. Even handguns can take down being being that get up semi truck full speed or point blank explosion trucks.
