This videos are so clutch. They show me wrinkles I can learn and areas I didn't know that I didn't know. As a King player anything that let's me give more hugs is always welcomed
@@AlmostCoolGuys I'd say spacing is probably one of the more difficult things to master, along with the changed timing on your approach. Using d4 on King is good for gaining information on when you might be able to land a throw. It'll show when they crouch and when they don't crouch after certain attacks. It's the best tool I've found :)
@Gator Of War hell ya dude. I'm going to mix that in with the FF☆2 as a new low. I over rely on mids I think. Delaying the kick in the B2,4 into Olympia slam does wonders. Timing is brutal in this game to.
That's awesome, welcome to Tekken 7! Steve has some pretty difficult combos from what I remember lol. Don't let it scare you if you like the character though, it'll be worth it in the end. Keep up the progress and you'll become a great Steve!
@@GatorOfWar yeah he seems like a Low risk high reward character. His B1 CH is primarily the reason I picked him up cause it’s satisfying 🥲. I’m stoke to play this game and just bought it on PC . Hopefully he’ll return in T8. Thanks for the warm welcome!
With the qfc method it also also count as the first input of your dash or while running. This applies also if u held crouch, just in case your character has a slide mix. Be excellent my dudes.
Yes I use the pro FS 12, it's an amazing controller. I think these days I spend the most time with it instead of my arcade stick. Overall I'm very happy with it's build quality and feel. For me it's ergonomic and I got it because it had the PS4, PS5, and PC support! Not sure if they've addressed the hitbox working with PS5 games yet. If you have the money for it, I'd say its a nice controller to have. Not necessary but nice indeed
@@GatorOfWarYoo. I have for about 2 months also a pro fs 12 and I am somehow still not sooo constant with wavedash etc. Especially on p2. Did you get used to it quickly and do you have any tips? Somehow my left ring finger is so „weak“. D:
@@fruchtkoerper I still mess it up sometimes, and on p2 i do it slower lol. It definitely will just take loads of time. I'm still trying to improve it, you're not alone!
I may have to make a video on that in the future. It's kinda tricky to explain but your secondary df2,1 has to have a slight delay. For a majority of the cast, you would press your DF2 and then slight delay on the 1 to cause the screw. This will give you enough time to land the BK even if they roll left. On some characters you will have to do a micro dash in the beginning to make the combo work. The amount of time to delay the second DF2,1 changes depending on how fast you landed the beginning DF2,1. So this combo has multiple timing parts to keep track of

Definitely, keep giving out the hugs!
@Gator Of War it's tough to close the distance sometimes. Spacing kills me in this game

This was a very good guide! I’m new and just realized I was doing this with Steve doing Shiro combos 😅

Oooooooohhhh and thas iws!!!
Bro can u make king poke & set up ? Because i think king weaknes when oppoent use fast char like ling xiao
Something on how to poke as King? Like against characters with fast moves that are evasive?
Are u playing with victrix pro fs 12? And if u do, would you recommend it rather than a original hitbox?
Thx for the informative video!

@@GatorOfWar Thanks for the fast reply. I hope the change from pad to Victrix Pro FS 12 is not too difficult

I struggle with King's df2,1 burning knuckle combo. What's the timing on that?
