How to SHARE GAMES & XBOX Live GOLD on 2 Xbox One Consoles

- Hi, this video shows you how you can set up 2 Xbox One consoles so you can share games and also share Xbox Live Gold so you only have to pay for one subscription. Both Xbox consoles can play online at the same time and also play the same game as long as it is downloaded onto the hard drive, you cannot play disc games on both Xbox consoles at the same time. This will definitely save you money especially if you have 2 children/friends etc. that want to both play the same game as you don't have to pay for it twice.

This visual step by step , and not on the screen, made it so much easier for me...i spent hours researching and watching other tutorials which weren't thorough in explaining each important step. my sons have saved and went in together for the 2nd console and REALLY wanted this to work. Can't thank you enough,, now instead of arguing over whose turn, what game, and who's friends are on...they are able to enjoy playing online with eachother, and have the autonomy to play with their own circle of gamers!!!

Finally a step-by-step guide for dummies (ME). Even Microsoft can't manage to make their instructions as clear and understandable as you have.
Using the page with diagrams and movable tags makes everything SO much more understandable than trying to interpret written instructions.
This guy makes such good tutorials, and he really tries to be as clear as possible, watched a couple of them and really liking them. Good job mate!

The Key is to make sure what ever account Currently has Gold to make one Console their Home console. Put Both of the profiles on this console. Then on the Second Console just put the account that has Gold on that console.
Any account on the Home Console can access the games on that console and have access to most Gold features (Multiplayer). The Primary account doesn't have to be signed in for this to happen.
So the Account without Gold can play a game on the Home console online and then the account that has Gold can use the other console to also play games online at the same time.
Hope that helps. This is how we have it setup in my house so the Kids can play.
Plus the home xbox can play off-line(no internet connection). The other xbox can not tho.

Well explained, worked a treat, thank you so much, I was pulling my hair out trying to work our how to share gold on my two xboxes with the kids. MS don’t make it easy and we wasn’t even bothered about using at the same time. Silly you can’t have multiple xboxes and family member profiles in a household I wanted that flexibility and happy to have a single gold connection active at a time. Just want any family profile on any of 3 xbox ultimately

Didn't know about this until I watched the video and I don't if it has been mentioned before but This also works with EA access games. You just to sign in as the EA access user account to download the games then switch back to other profile and both users have use of the installed games.

My use was a bit different, I bout a new one x and gave my son the old xbone but the same rules applied and I'm just so grateful that I wont have to buy double copys of all the games

i had the same issue. the person I was sharing my stuff was not on the preview program and I was. just leave the program or invite your friend to the program
