- Hi, this video shows you how to setup the Xbox One S Console. It shows you how to connect it to your TV via the HDMI lead, what settings to use on your TV, how to connect it to your Router via Ethernet and how to sync up (pair) the wireless controller. It is aimed at beginners who might not have setup a games console before.

@@uhh5259 Yes you can although it won't be pure 1080p it would be better to get a 1920 × 1080 but 1366 × 768 is pretty good

When i close the Xbox with the wireless controller, my controller still enlightened. Why ? Normally the wireless pad will be close too.

VurklandStudios Well, normally plus and minus go together but its plus plus and minus minus for controllers its weird
I don't own an Xbox One, but I have a PS4, and the batteries is one plus for the PS4. But batteries can be weird sometimes. They work differently for different things.

Yes, this is normal, but if you use the controller on your PC or a friends Xbox then you will have to re sync it back on your Xbox again when you want to use it again.

Can someone help me i used the hdmi cable correctly it brings up the picture on hdmi 1 but on the xbox one s settings it says hdmi not connect but still displays the screen and i can play games as normal im just not happy with the video quality as it says hdmi not connected

I set everything up properly, but when it comes to synching up with my wi-fi it doesn't give me enough time to type in my password before it tells me to check the that I have the ten letters entered correctly,(which I have),. I've to start again. I've been trying for half an hour now and am really pissed off at this stage. Any help would be appreciated. It will be going back to the shop otherwise. I only got it today.
