- We finally got the engine bay pretty much dialled in on the turbo 8th gen civic build. This catch can setup came out SO CLEAN & I am hyped to start e tuning this thing now. Im surprised how good that meguiars product worked on the headlights as well. I'll leave a link to where you guys can snag some here.

I actually had better results on my turbo 8th gen keeping the factory PCV with a check valve on it. And venting the valve cover to atmosphere. Turbo oil actually drained better too.
This works too 👍🏼 I could have used the factory PCV & vented the hose to atmosphere. Didn’t really need to install the open barbed fitting, but doesn’t matter. Serves the same purpose under load anyways 🤷🏻

Hey man, did you ever check the wastegate spring before installing it?
Nope, cxracing gate has an 8psi spring. Didn’t even take it apart because it didn’t come with any extra springs.
@DanielKellert mine did. I guess i had a 20psi spring in it because spiked to that and blew my engine 💀 i got a new 44mm vs racing one

@@DanielKellert dw 265 pump. 1000cc alpha injectors. Hybrid racing rail. My gauge read 20psi

That not even a proper catch can set up for this application
This is the way my tuner recommended. Not meeting emissions here. Ideally you would have a 3 port catch can with a vent on it & can run both valve cover vents & the crank case vent to the catch can. Unfortunately I don’t have enough space where I mounted the catch can to have a 3 port, so we vented the crankcase vent to atmosphere & the 2 valve cover vents to the catch can.
