    Not impressed. Poor review. Really?
    Nitpicking on 40L gas tank. In your own word it goes 100Km using less than 6 liter of gas. Which means you can drive more than 600 Km before you will be forced to fill up. What is wrong with that?

    • @danilika9420

      The reality is that a non-hybrid subcompact crossover like the Subaru Crosstrek can travel farther between fill-ups, which negates one of the Corolla Cross Hybrid’s main would-be advantages for the average shopper. (The Crosstrek’s tank is 63 L.)
      I’m sorry that you think it’s a “poor review” because I mentioned the small fuel tank, but it’s my job to point out both the positives and the negatives so shoppers can make informed decisions.

    Dan, In your written review of March 10, 2023 you described the stretched wheelbase Corolla Hybrid Wagon sold in Europe as, "One of the best cars I've ever driven." If Toyota stretched the tiny Corolla wheelbase to make that wagon family friendly for our European cousins, why did they not do the same for the Corolla Cross? As things stand, the made in Canada RAV4 Hybrid is a much better option for Canadians who need a decent back seat, a spare tire and more generous tow capacity. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and all the crazy, mixed up kids at Auto Trader Canada a very merry 🎄🎄 and a happy, healthy new year.🎉🎉🎉🎉

      I don't disagree, although the Corolla Cross Hybrid is more efficient than the RAV4 Hybrid, not to mention cheaper. If you don't have more than one passenger on a regular basis, there's lots to like about this smaller crossover! Thanks for all your support and engagement, and happy holidays!

    Excellent video! Questions: 1) Could not having a spare tire be an issue? What's in the tire repair kit? 2) I hear Corolla Cross is in short supply. Do you expect more to be delivered soon? Thank you!

    • @danilika9420
      @danilika9420 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thanks for the kind words! Certainly, I understand the concern about the lack of a proper spare tire, but many OEMs are turning to inflator kits to cut costs and weight. The kit here comes with a bottle of sealant and a small air compressor.
      As for supply issues, Toyota has long struggled to get hybrids to dealers in a reasonable time. While I’ve not heard much about this issue being resolved, my suggestion is to shop around, as some dealers may have units on their lots while your local store may not. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching!

    As an owner of a Hyundai Ioniq 5, I can tell you it's a great vehicle and has gotten me over 500 Km per charge (in the summer). This Corolla Cross Hybrid should get you at least 650 Kms per tank. Dealing with Hyundai Canada is a nightmare, dealing with Toyota Canada is not (previous owner of a 2006 Toyota Matrix). I am actively seeking a deal with Toyota to trade in my Ioniq 5 for the Cross Hybrid.

    Looking at this very Crossover next year (different color). I'm driving a 2022 Kona and do like the "Star Wars" features of the new Kona, BUT, with AWD, the Kona gets around 26 mpg!!! Of course, their top trim (what I'd get) does have real leather and ventilated seats, but I think I would prefer 42 mpg U.S. over 26 mpg any day. I can live with the cheap plastic interior, as my Kona has it now.

    What a clown. One moment he says it gets good gas milage. Then complains the tank is small so the range is short. Says the gas model has a bigger tank. But the hybrid does get so much better combined milage that the range is still about 10% more.

    • @danilika9420
      @danilika9420 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      “Clown” here! I commended its fuel efficiency, yes - but that’s independent of how far it can travel on a single tank. (Think of it like a restaurant review; “great meal, tiny portions!”)
      The simple reality is that the Corolla Cross Hybrid would be better served by the standard version’s 50-litre tank or something close to it. The suggestion isn’t without precedent, either, as the RAV4 Hybrid has a 55-litre tank compared to the conventional model and its 57-litre tank.
      As it stands, the Subaru Crosstrek can travel significantly farther than the Corolla Cross Hybrid thanks to its much bigger fuel tank (63 litres) - and that’s worth mentioning.
      Thanks for watching!

    We have a 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid and it's wonderful. I'd recommend it to anyone, with the exception of gear heads. But I would hope they wouldn't even be looking at small hybrids, anyway. If you want a smaller SUV that's comfortable, full of tech, reliable and a nice ride, are a 1-2 person family or have a couple kids under the teen years, look no further than this SUV. BTW, our city driving makes up about 60% of our miles as our daily driver and we visit the gas station no more than twice a month.

      It really depends on what you need your vehicle for!
