Listening to this song reminds me of my grandpa for a couple reasons. He served in the Navy as well as the Air Force. Another reason it reminds me of my grandpa is he lost his 2 1/2 year battle to pancreatic/liver cancer on January 6th, 2023, and I had a great relationship with him so it has been hard without him.

It must be tough when losing a parent my friend lost her dad due to a heart attack. My friend in high school lost der dad due to cancer then my friends both lost there mom.
Enjoy being with ur parents make every moment worth it. When I was 11 my parents were killed in front of me. But before they died my dad left me a backpack I haven't look thru it its been 4 years idk if I'm ready to learn the truth yet. But enjoy your parents because u don't get them long make every moment count

Shirley Stout not really my brother left to go to the navy when we went to his boot camp graduation and I saw him for the first time in 3 months I wanted to bawl my eyes out like a baby of tears of happiness but he was always one of the “cool kids” and I wanted to act cool too so I bit down on my jaw so hard it was very very heart warming and he told us all his stories from boot camp then I cried when he departed to A school he is still there to this day but it’s less sad because he can text us and call us now
Definitely made me cry. Going through this right now. My son is only 2 but has no clue of what is going on. He doesn't even realize that Daddy is gonna be gone alot. For 3-4 months now and maybe again for a year or more.
My 5 year old daughter and I watch this video every night before bed. My dad was in and out my whole life. Couldn’t ever depend on him. My daughter will never know what that feels like. This song puts my love into words perfectly. Thanks Luke

My dog coco died some years ago I missed him so much. He died of age. This song was sad I should’ve picked it for his death. Coco lived a very good life
