I met my wife, and we dated for less than two months before I proposed to her. We married three months after I proposed. We just celebrated our 23rd anniversary last September after everyone told us we'd never make it because we didn't court long enough and that we were rushing into it. Sometimes, life does get in the way, and we have definitely had our ups and downs. Sometimes, I feel that I don't tell her I love her or appreciate her enough, and that's when I know it's time to put life on hold. My mom was starting to get sick a couple of months ago...She went to see a bunch of specialist to see what kind of sickness she has. After 3 months they finally found out what it was. My mom never told me what she had until one day I saw her medication sitting on the counter. It said it was some type of cancer. Since then my mom can barely move. My heart breaks every time I see her in pain and there's nothing I can do. Love you momma❤️

Fast forward 14 years. His mother passed away and at the visitation he tells his older brother, I am not that stupid kid who went to prison. But god damn she was determined to go down with or without any money. We have 3 kids together and have almost been married 19 years in July. This Oct we will be together for 21 years. So many people said we were to young but look at us now. My husband always sang this song to me. I tragically lost him 2 months ago, after 19 yrs together. The last 6 months were filled with difficulty and being unsure about his feelings towards me (PTSD symptoms ramped up and an emotional affair coming to light). Night before last, this song played and sent me rushing to the restroom at the restaurant/bar I was at to have a break down. Later that night, it played again in a completely different social activity/place. Today, I had a post in my FB memories where he left me a love note, telling me to play this song. Usually, I try to remain level headed and not read too much into coincidences, but I think he really is trying to let me know! And boy, do I ever need to know! ❤

Reminds me of my mom and dad. My mom lost him due to a drunk driver. My siblings and I knew how much she loved our dad. She missed him everyday. We lost her young as well. This song makes me think of them sitting together in heaven. It gives me comfort.

Thanks but I have doubts my life will ever get better. 31 years and a lifetime of trauma. I don't even trust good when it does come into my life anymore because of everything. And yet I listen to this song hoping one day I'll be proven wrong and things will get better...for others too not just for me. Maybe I'll just have to accept a lonely life though. At least I know the voids peaceful and there for me when it is my time to die.
I played this song for my wife almost a year ago now while she was taking a bath. She gave me that smile she gave me the day I fell in love with her. She is my whole world. I've never been so in love in my life. We have been together for 6 years and would have been married 4 years in April...unfortunately we have been falling apart the last 6 months...and yesterday we finally split...I'm very much a wreck today but the reasoning for this comment is to spread some wisdom and make sure you don't make the same mistakes I did. Always communicate. Make sure you listen and respond and start conversations. Make sure you let your spouse know that he or she is not alone in the marriage. Help out and keep the stress to a minimum. Don't keep having the same fight once a year. Make sure you both fix whats wrong. Stay safe and happy in life guys.

I'm probably the last person that can give relationship advice but take her to lunch tell her how you feel. show her that you love her. I've learned from experience that as you are with someone for a long time it feels sometimes that that fire that was there when you first got together starts to fade bit that's because you get busy either with work or being patents. some people stop "dating" their significant other and focus more on kids and stuff. it may take awhile or it may not work at all. but it's worth a shot. I would hate for you to not at least try to go get what you want then to regret not trying later. like my dad always said the best things in life are the ones you have to work hard for

Exactly! I always have trouble with expression too. So I use music 🎶. I just got married 3 weeks ago and I played this for my husband.. sadly tho.. he left about 5 days ago and I haven't heard a word from him after only three weeks of marriage because I caught him trying to hook up with a girl he met in rehab.
