Wow I just realized something ! Our family went to Croatia for the first time in 1974 ! My mother is English and she would have gladly stayed there and lived there forever. We extended our stay and shortened our English travel on the second half of the trip because my mother wanted to stay longer in Croatia ! My mother learned the language pretty well in Canada and to this day always listens to Croatian music ! Her positive personality and Croatian love is like yours !

We traveled to Zagreb the beginning and end of October. That underground mall blew my mind. We brought home the chocolate you recommended, it was a great hit. And we got the heart for our Christmas tree. That umbrella shop is so cool.

My husband is from Slovenia, about 45 minutes from Zagreb. (Brezice) . He left there 60 years ago.
My grandfather is from the tiny island of Olib in Croatia. We live in Oklahoma USA. We have visited often in the last 10 years both countries. I am excited to see these beautiful products as they remind me of our travels! I often didn’t know what I was buying to take home, only that it was beautiful or tasty!! Haha. Not speaking either language makes for lots of surprises!! Our family lives on their farm and produces much of their own food, wine and honey items. They often do not share our excitement discovering different products when we go to different cities. It’s all new and special to us. They are certainly proud of what they produce, but don’t find things as charming as we. It’s very different from things we can buy where we live. We so enjoy your channel , and a glimpse of “home”! Excellent unique idea, just had a thought as another gift and specific to Croatia is the box of chocolates also from kraš that has the map of Croatia in the lid and it shows the 3d of the land and mountains ( the relief) and also when you take off the lid it also shows Bosna i Hercegovina too

Thank you for a great video! We arrived to Croatia for a first time yesterday for a family vacation. Will be definitely buying some Antique Pelinkovac and Croatian chockolate and olive oil to take back to home. I just discovered that there is a local olive oil factory less than 1km away from our hotel. So well be making a factory tour and buy fresh olive oil directly from the producer.

Canada je u mnogo čemu daleko ispred Hrvatske,ali što se hrane tiće,tu je Hrvatska puno bolja..kad se već spomenula Bajadera...nikad mi neće biti jasno, zašto je u HR, Bajadera duplo skuplja nego na primjer u Hamilton, Ontario
Malo me Sarin gospon nasmijao,kad je spomenuo nekih 10 tisuća koraka....neka proba u danu ,između 18-24000 koraka,to je moj radni dan...sve u svemu... pohvale za trud oko videa...🍻🍻🖐️😁
Lako je biti ispred nekoga kad imas abnormalno velike resurse per capita, ne treba biti puno pametan za iskoristiti (prodati) sto ti je servirano. Njihova prava prednost je to sto nemaju gubitnicki balkanski mentalitet i zatucano nasljedje komunizma kojemu se JEDAN DIO populacije Hrvatske, nazalost, ne moze odhrvati.

I used to buy the Kraš chocolate box that used to have the gigantic Hrvatski grb. They did away with it a while ago ☹️. Have no idea why. Also, you need a magnifying lense to see that it's a Croatian product. Very dissapointing.

Liebe Sarah, ich kenne den heutigen Pelinkovac nicht. Habe seit Jahrzehnten keinen mehr getrunken. Jedoch Jägermeister kenne ich (auch wenn ich diesen nicht trinke) Jägermeister ist reine Chemie. Ein Produkt deutscher Geschäftstüchtigkeit. Also miese Qualität zu hohem Preis vermarktet. Wenn Pelinkovac also ein vergleichbares Getränk sein sollte, ist Pelinkovac es nicht wert erwähnt zu werden. Veoma poštujem Croata kravate ali oni ne izlaze iz Hrvatske, koliko znam. Bata, iz Borova Naselja u kom sam odrastao, ima u svakoj zemlji Europe svoje proizvode! Kao što je Rimac svima znam, tako i HR kravate trebaju biti svima znane.
