Picked up the Eight Sleep Pod a couple weeks ago and cannot begin to imagine sleeping without it. Very polished product. Seriously great reviews and recommendations Ben!!!

Ryan how is it now? I’m on the fence with 8sleep for quite some time but reading about hundreds of leaks on Reddit just puts me off… I really want one though.
I was considering a mattress topper, but seriously for the price of these things, a portable AC unit is under 200 bucks, or even a window unit, and crank it and off you go. Even with cost of running it nightly for sleeping it's still going to take forever to actually get to the same price. And you aren't tied to an app or worse, a subscription, just to go to sleep. Keep it simple, I know it's not as posh and fun to do that, but seriously, be sensible, you can get your WHOLE ROOM down to 60 degrees easily with an AC unit.

It doesn't have any sort of heat pump, so it's not possible to actually cool below ambient. It is misleading the temp setting is "minus" X.
Also, eight sleep has a monthly subscription now for scheduling and "smart" features. It's kind of a rough deal now...
The perfectly snug keeps me cool. I had the eight sleep prior and it was great until it leaked out on me. The company sent a new one...sold it because I didn't want to deal with the water again
I come back to this video a lot for reassurance

I can never justify the price of these beds. I’ve found that the best thing to really help my sleep is to simply sleep earlier and get at least 7-8 hours of sleep. That simple. Great video!
Cozy House Bamboo Sheets keep me cool during the night. We already have hybrid innerspring and memory foam mattress with "cooling foam" and the sheets work much better.
I can get past that high purchase price but I'll never get past the Eight Sleep subscription model, where you not only have to pay premium for the product, but also pay a high subscription cost to maintain the features. I will never support any sort of business that does that.
Lol “that simple”. It’s not “that simple” for people who sleep super hot. If it’s that easy for you, these products simply aren’t for you. Thinking that your advice just works for everyone is ridiculous.
We got the Perfectly Snug for Christmas. We've slept 2 nights on it so far. We both sleep hot and it seems to have helped. But the lack of smart features and having to tinker with the dated app is a pain. Unfortunately my partner is against the subscription model (I hate it too but doesn't seem it can be helped) so no Eight Sleep in our future.

@@AbdurahmanAlomrani Still use it. I would not want to part with it at this point. I wish it was smarter and the app was better, but given the price compared to others, it was a good choice.
