Seems like an incredible product, but their subscription service ruins it. My $2000+ purchase could be rendered useless if they decide to increase the monthly price.

Extremely surprised how much hot air is emitted from the hub?? Kinda inverse to the goal here, was it noticeable when sleeping next to it?
Cold air is not a "thing", it's the lack of warm air. This means that the only way to actually cool things is to remove the heat. Unless you connect ventilation to the fans from the hub and direct it outdoors (like your A/C and refrigerator do), the heat can reasonably only be outputted into your room.
It's not enough to feel in your bed. The cover still effectively cools you, better than your A/C can. However, it's best you have good air circulation in your room. Not only is this important for seasonal allergies, dust, mold, and air quality, but it will also spread out the temperature in your room so the heat is not building up beside you but instead raises the ambient room temperature by one or two degrees.

@@AarohMankad Not only is that unsightly, this just isn't that practical. It would require connecting it to your HVAC system in your house, which would be a hefty project.
You could try venting it out your window, but you would still need to have a custom slot for the exhaust tubing, which again isn't practical. If you just wanted to stick a tube out your window, the window would be open, which would make the system entirely pointless since warm air is now flowing inside.
Eight Sleep would not be able to send a "hose" for those reasons. It's not user-friendly, it couldn't possibly be universal, and the negligible heat exhausted from the Hub in a properly circulated room doesn't warrant the extra cost. Like I said before, it does not effect your temperature sleeping.
If you really care, you can always go to your local Home Depot and build an air exhaust yourself.
I love my pod 3 - I have the pod 4 cover. It is awesome
I was going to upgrade to pod 4 but the cost is pretty high
@@davemTX2023 yeah. Been testing pod 4. Seems like it can prime and run daily maintenance super quickly. Other than that, it cools quicker than 3. Probably not worth upgrading

Man, this is my dream device. I want it so much.. and youtubers like you are to blame - so if their marketing is watching - this shit works. If it wasn't for Shervin, I wouldn't even know for your overpriced product.
