the only reason they do that is because there is no equivalent 'kun' for girls and since you only get curtis by playing as the female character its only natural (and also pretty bloody obvious) that it'd be 'san' and not 'kun'
You can only trade after beating the Elite 4, you can sometimes call her multiple times in the same route (makes things easier!) and after getting on the ferris wheel with her the first time you must wait one day until she begins trading. She'll trade everyday

I was visiting my friend and during his BW2 nuzlocke he found the list Xtranciever. I had totally forgot about this sidquest until he jogged my memory. Funny thing is, I never put the whole picture together as to who Yancy was until that night. There was much shouting when I finally put two and two together. (My friend ended up losing the nuzlocke to double crust from Clay's Excadrill. Dude got crit no less than 15 times that night.)
I swear Nintendo made this side quest way to long, I mean don't get me wrong I love the development between the avatar and Yancy/Curtis, but I just wanna get a togekiss not go through a whole love story
You don't have to beat thd Elite Four for this. You need to call them 50 times total. After the 50th time they'll call you the next day to trade Pokémon with them outside of the Ferris Wheel.
Does it require 50 if you haven’t beaten the elite four then 30 if you have? Many people have differing claims when it comes to this quest for some reason.
man u deserve all those likes and much more for this your the only one that ive been able to find that has a clear and concise description and video of how to do this. Most are just a minute and a half long with no narrative or dont tell you how to progress in the quest

@@jimbo4333 There’s psycho cut, and Gallade is great if you want a Fighting type that isn’t 4x weak to Fighting. This is a big problem with the last member of the elite 4. I still think that Lucario is a better fighting type for most of the game, I just think Gallade also has some post-game value.

Did you know that Yancy and Curtis (the 2 with the Xtransceiver side quest in B2W2) are actually the celebrities Nancy and Christoph from TV Celebrity channel? This is not a speculation. How'd I found out? On the Xtransceiver when they were going to tell you their names they were about to give you other names (which were their celebrity names). You are only able to see a few letters of that name before they cut themselves off giving you Yancy or Curtis (depending on your gender). In Nimbasa City by the Audino statue there was a lady that mentions about the celebrities coming by and being on their Xtransceivers a lot. Lastly, after returning Yancy or Curtis their Xtransceiver go watch the Celebrity channel on TV. There is a text that will only play once involving Nancy or Christoph.

At first I thought I missed something but I just called and called curtis/yancy until I invited him/her. 50 call does not matter guys even if your count is correct just wait and call and call them until you will meet him/her on the ferris wheel then pokemon trades. But you cannot trade all the pokemon in one day. In one day, one pokemon will be traded. But if you want it really quick like getting ur favorite ralts then just change the time of your ds/3ds. I think it'll work.

Very well done video. But there's one thing in this mission that I'm having problems with though. I've made it to the part where I can trade with Curtis, but I've only been able to trigger the conversation where he wants to meet at the Ferris Wheel to trade once. After it happened the first time I saved, went to the 3DS setting, set the date 1 day ahead, and went back. I've talked to him maybe 7 times now, and none of them were to meet at the Ferris Wheel. Just imagine owning two Nintendo DS, both black and white 2 and each console has the opposite gender in their save. (so you can get every exclusive including from this quest) It'd be insane to do this quest at the same pace on both versions. I'm glad i never tried this quest (my first real game is pokemon sword on switch lite since emulators are unstable and slow on android mobile)
