a few extra things you didn't mention which I'm not sure you know: - You can catch Cresselia on the marvelous bridge after completing the room puzzle at the Strange House and receiving the lunar wing item -On Marvelous Bridge, the NPC closest to the Nimbasa entrance will sell you a one time Magikarp for 500 poke dollars - In Black 2, the prize for beating Black Tower is a shiny Gible - Hidden grottos exist and can be cool for some pokemon with their hidden abilities (really grindy though) - In twist mountain, there's an NPC that will give you fossils once everyday - Drayden can teach your pokemon Draco Meteor but to my knowledge it's only after beating the league so counts as post game - You can battle N after catching the box legend and Kyurem (his teams will vary with the seasons) - In Icirrus City, there's a tiny plot line where the Shadow Triad want to test you themselves - There's a little story line regarding Anville Town and Nimbasa City where a girl loses her elemental monkey and you have to speak to the captain to have it returned to her - The entirety of the Abyssal Ruins in Undella Bay (it's a cryptic story + the plates for Arceus + basically money farming) There are some things I missed but these are the most noteworthy ones imo
When you connect a bw2 game with bw1 game you can unlock some story in bw2 of what happened between these 2 years (flashback scenes) and after that you can catch Ns Pokémon that he used in bw.
I think it's fitting the Cynthia asks in the sequel. She reflected on her actions. "Huh, I just traumatized all those people. Maybe I shouldn't be so aggressive next time."
The reward Pokémon from Benga is actually a Shiny Gible in the opposite version. There is technically some more Team Plasma lore if you manage to track down the Plasma Frigate.
In addition to the things other people have mentioned, if you have seen every Pokemon in the Unova Dex, you can fly to a new location called the Nature Preserve, which is kind of cool. Just some patches of grass and some items, but the big thing is a one-time encounter with a shiny Haxorus. Pretty cool reward imo that's not just a pat on the back or a TM.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 eh idk, the battle park was way more awesome in my opinion. Not that the tournament isn't cool, it's just the park is so goddamn cooler
Iv been playing Pokemon since red & blue, but I skipped black/white & sun moon. So I recently decided to make myself play black 2 and dude 🤯🤯, this game feels so massive compared to the others. I'm thinking about attempting to complete the national dex.
If you do I wish you luck! I've personally have never done it, despite having played through BW and BW2 so many times, so I hope you enjoy attempting it! ^ ^
For more sidequests that are neat, as always, -the underwater ruins near undella town are so interesting to swim through(still think it's a wasted opportunity to not have something like manaphy there in reference to that one movie), - you can find the "cave of being" on route 20((you need surf and waterfall) it's a super cool place and I won't spoil what you'll find there), - in the clay tunnel you can find the underground ruins which are great for nostalgic people(also harbors legendary pokemon) - If you return to the strange house, you can find a ghost girl that was searching for the lunar feather, which you can take to Marvelous Bridge for another legendary encounter - on route 18 you can meet another gen 4 character that'll give you the magma stone, if you take it to Reversal Mountain you can encounter yet another legendary - on the plasma frigate you can re match collress . Can't think of different things off the top of my head but there's more
So there's even more post game if you have both Black 2 and White 2 (or know someone with the opposite cartidge). In the games there's a Key system, which you can use to share "Keys" with the other game. So once you beat Benga, you unlock the Black or White Key (depending on the game), then you can share it with the opposite game and explore, say, White Forest in Black 2 and Black City in White 2. Even challenging White Treehollow in Black 2 and Black Tower in White 2 - getting the other shiny after beating that Benga. You can do the same with the Regis. Everyone starts with Regirock, and after catching it, you unlock a Key for either Regice or Registeel. After sharing Keys to catch all three, you can catch Regigigas. I know you're not a fan of battling, but don't skip out on the Pokemon World Tournament! After beating the game, you get access to the "Leaders" brackets. Kanto Leaders lets you battle the Kanto Gym Leaders (Janine in place of Koga since he's an Elite Four now), Johto Leaders for Johto Gym Leaders, Hoenn for Hoenn, Sinnoh for Sinnoh, and Unova for Unova. Once you beat all four you get to unlock a Champion's bracket and can rematch the likes of Red, Steven, Lance, and Cynthia. Even Giovanni shows back up. Outside of the Elite Fours - which sadly don't make an appearance - it truly is an "EVERYONE IS HERE" mode. You can even battle Tate & Liza individually lol. There's also side quests, some of which can be done during the main game, such as the Abandoned House/Cresselia quest, the Idol shipping quest, the JILTed quest, the Join Avenue "Tycoon" style minigame, revisiting Liberty Garden (location of the BW1 Victini quest that was download only), traveling on the Royal Unova, Abyssal Ruins, the Heatran/Magma Stone quest, the Frigate quest, etc etc. Like in BW1, you can even trade Pokemon with certain NPCs and then battle them while they used the Pokemon you traded! There is genuinely so much post game & side content that it blows every other Pokemon game out of the water - even HGSS (HGSS might have another region, but BW2's single region has enough content for 3).
My "radical" opinion is that they should dedicate a whole generation to Unova Remakes. So for instance, Gen 10 or Gen 11 Wouldn't have a "new" region, but rather a dedicated generation to remake the Gen 5 games. This will never happen, but imo it would be the best way to remake them and not sacrifice any original content.
Definitely agree, but not as remake but as past regions some 10-15yrs later perhaps. With new routes and caves, new towns while older towns became cities etc.
I started replaying this because i lost the cartridge as a kid and im surprised by how many people are STILL talking about this game , x and y wasnt too bad but black and white 2 were the last phenomenal pokemon games if you ask me
X and Y was way too short and added barely any pokemon. Only thing I even remember from that game is the insane amount of fairy types and mega evolution.
True, while weather mechanics were annoying and Dragon types were way overpowered they were still great games, probably my favorite in the entire series
