He puts on a hell of a lot of work and has been through a lot, just in the last year going from ASVEL to Mets92 a team that isn't going to survive because of money problems and won't be in the french league next season.
Everything has been prepared around Wenbenyama for the NBA and he knows it with an enormous amount of pressure on him to perform.
After years of preperation I think he knows he's arrived at a new milestone with new pressure beginning to start as all eyes will be on him when the NBA season gets under way. That's going to be another challenge, the biggest he's faced. Nothing but greatness will be asked of him and from game 1.

And in his second language. Not an easy thing to do. Seems smart and extremely focused which combined with his physique and skills should mean he's gonna be great. I think his development could be more in line with Jokic as opposed to someone like Lebron who was a superstar straight away. Think Wemby could take a while before he's posting monster stats, but over time like Jokic he'll learn how to make his team win and influence games in a big way.

@@op2k725I'm so happy for Spurs fans. Classy organisation that has been the gold standard for such a long time. I'm Australian, so I don't have any home-city bias in the NBA.... and for me, the Spurs organisation "deserves" to get a talent like Wemby more than any other team.

Y’all don’t understand the potential this kid has as a human. Bigger than basketball. Literally.

Every so often the universe gifts the world a figure that embodies the spirit in all that they do. I find it no coincidence that he’s so articulate and just as skilled on the court. He’s definitely made sure he deserves the spotlight he’s receiving. I feel God uses those who can handle the fame to truly bring forth and embody a message that will resonate with everyone deeply. JJ was shook and Wemby hasn’t even stepped foot on an NBA court yet haha, literally one of a kind guy. He’ll be a spectacle to watch and I can’t wait to be a witness. God bless him and his career!🙏
