“Meanwhile Ben Wallace has two headbands around his ARMS” 😂
And a hall of fame
He’s an animal. Shittiest stats of an HOF player. 1000% deserved to be first ballot.
He was fuggin ripped
And this was over the hill Ben. He was huge and cut in Detroit.
It was to hold his muscles back.
The D Rose and Joakim Noah days were so good it almost hurts to watch these and hear Noah talk about it. It was such a special time the special players with only injury halting their success
How good were they(only started watching nba 3 years back)
Completely agree.
@@XabzintheNBAGuru they were headed to multiple deep playoff runs/possible championship series appearances. They were that good. Injuries put the lid on all that.

lol
Thats ridiculous
He always had 2 on that's nothing new
And true ahhaha
They weren't actually headbands but he's not lyin
I remember running into Noah in NYC tryna get into a club. I was the only person who recognized himwalking by, he saw me see him and just put a finger to his mouth to signal not to say anything 😂 I just nodded and acknowledged him with a thumbs up haha. He was playing for the Knicks at the time. I was surprised no one noticed a man that tall but he had a Hoodie on so I guess people just assumed he was a random giant man 😂 Glad to see he's doing well
That is so damned cool man, Noah mobbing through the city with the hoodie must be a sight

He did
💯💯💯One of my all-time favorites….regardless of skill
Infectious energy. Similar player to draymond green imo with the passing
I was a Detroit Pistons fan, and I never seen that heart since Ben Wallace on the Pistons.

It always bothered me he doesn’t know how to pronounce his own name

first time seeing the podcast. Enjoyed quite a bit. Noah was always an Enigma for me as a fan. He got on my nerves and this and that and then all the sudden I realized something. He is the WORM. He is MWP. That dude you hate and call a hack when you play against him but love to have him on your team.
This is a great interview. Well done!
This was one of the most real, raw stories ever on the podcast. I loved it!!
Two of my favorite players Ben Wallace and Joakim Noah.
These guys are best from their town, high school, college. Get drafted and then still have to scrap for playing time. Crazy how good these players have to be. Have to be Ben Wallace mentally also...
The way that joakim talks is chill I like that vibe
I used to hate this dude at Fkorida. Then I watched how hard he played in Chicago and started liking him. Then he stood up to Lebron and I started loving this dude.
Joakim had the 90s mindset joining the league. Respect for the past but willing to take on anyone. Showed love to kg but kg did kg and Joakim fought back. I bet he was a teammate you would want in your corner
Ben freaking Wallace was a complete BEAST HANDS DOWN ! LOL
Facts
Ron Artest can attest to that.
Not when he came to the Bulls. Gave that no talent basturd a max contract to stand in the lane and tickle ppl with his Afro. Him and Boozer should’ve stayed where they were. They were just stealing money
I remember this whole episode cuz I used to post religiously on sports message boards at the time, the narrative that was developing was that he was immature, a bust in the making, waste of a draft pick etc. My argument in his defense back then was that he was limited offensively but his presence in the lineup had a noticeable impact on the game, safe to say that was a minority opinion. Obviously he went on to prove himself, he was a huge part of those Rose-era Bulls teams - Bulls fans love the guy.
Jooks always been my fave!! True grit!! A lot of heart in and out of the court!
