A complete overview of Leadership theories and models in 15 minutes: Learn about 16 theories and more than thirty styleas.
Learn about Great Man Theory, Classical Management, Trait Theory, Behavioral Leadership, Situational Leadership, Transformational Leadership and many others.
Our journey starts with Great Man Theory in 1840 and takes us via Classical Management Theory (Taylor, Fayol, and Weber) to Trait Theory.
In the mid 1900s, Behavioral Leadership theories such as Lewin leadership styles, the Ohio State and Michigan leadership studies and Blake Mouton Managerial Grid emerge.
As we get to the second half of the 20th century, the focus moves to Contingency Theory and Situational Leadership, including Path-Goal Theory, Fiedler's contingency model and the Vroom Jago decision model.
The video ends with three more modern frameworks with a stronger emphasis in Emotional Intelligence: Full Range Leadership Model, Servant Leadership and the Six Leadership Styles by Goleman.

The robotic audio and constant drawing makes this video difficult to watch and comprehend. I recommend editing the video to fix these issues so that the information can be grasped better moving forward. In addition, having a bunch of different theories on the screen at the same time diverts attention from the current topic. I recommend spreading the theories out so it it's not overly crowded.
