Learn about the Managerial Grid and its five leadership styles. According to this leadership theory, different levels of concern for people and production respectively, results in different leadership styles. Learn about country club management, team management, authority-obedience management (produce-or-perish management), impoverished leadership and organization management (middle-of-the-road management).
Even if it is a bit dated, this behavioral leadership theory can still teach us important lessons about leadership. Production orientation often means lower focus on people, and the other way around.
