It's great to see someone who loves to cook so much and also wants to share it with the world. Thank you, Sir. I tip my hat to you and the Beag.
Made your ribs tonight. I have had my share of ribs in my 67 years and these are by far the BEST! Who said you can’t teach an old southerner something new. So tender they just pulled from the bone. Husband said the hardest thing was waiting the rest time. They are now the only way we will be cooking ribs. We had our own “happy dance!”

Really intrigued by your bbq dry rub recipe. A few days ago, had to open up a jar of Memphis' Charley Vergos dry rub. Oh, so good, but I'm grilling ribs again next week and will darn sure use your dry rub, Kent. You are the best! I've followed a lot of your grilling and never had bad. Even seasoned my cast iron the way you showed and they are all non-stick. A hearty big thanks to you.

A good rack of ribs, pot of beans, corn bread and a tall mason jar of ice tea. I am so hungry and want to try your rub this weekend. A good rack of ribs gives everyone a happy dance. Thank you as always for sharing the recipe and bless you both.
Hey Kent, I made these yesterday, along with some of those sausage-stuffed mushrooms. As you always say... FINE dining!! I don't have a cast dutch oven yet - still working on my iron collection - so I used one of those Reynolds wrap tin foil bags for the steaming, about 2 hrs on the grill at about 300.... then turned up the grill and browned them. I hope you continue to enjoy doing what you do - helping many folks enjoy better food with friends. Thanks so much for sharing, that is an incredible dry rub!
Cowboy Kent, I cooked your Baby Back Ribs today. Just as you instructed, I removed the "silver-skin from the back of the ribs and anointed them in lime juice. I then used you and Shannon's dry rub mix; added a little Carribean Jerk spice, white pepper, cumin, and ground ginger to it. I wrapped that "rascal" in some foil, popped into a 360° oven for 2 1/2 hours, let it cool for 5 minutes, sprinkled more of the rub on the ribs, and finished them off at 400° for 20 minutes. They turned out so fall off the bone tender and delicious that they needed NO sauce. Thanks so much for the recipe Cowboy Kent!
Its hard to believe that there are people who won't eat pork. I love pork. I could eat pork every damn day. In fact.. I do.. I usually have some bread & butter with mine...
Thanks for showing us how you make your fall the bone baby back ribs and grill ! Thanks Kent, Shannon and the beagle ! Thumbs up to all of the service men out there that defend our country !
I just got my son and I a big rack of ribs. Just in time for some Cowboy Kent Rollins style ribs. I'm making them and some smoked pork sandwiches and roast chicken and dumplins for Mother's Day. I've got 6 kids and some kids-in-law and 5 grandkids and they are all coming over for an overdue spring clean up: gutters, power washing, cutting weeds, cutting trees, patching the roof etc. while the girls help me haul out everything I don't need or want for a huge garage sale. It's gonna be fun getting rid of 63 years of accumulated dust catchers. This way they can take anything they want home before the sale. See, all the cooking I'm going to do for them doesn't seem like too much work now. I might check on some more of your sides or desserts for a crowd. I haven't got to cook like that for years.Whatever's left the local Mission is going to come and pick up so I don't have to bring hardly anything back in. Sorry to lay all this info on you but you and the Beag seem like good listeners and I'll be cooking up enough of your food for a small Army and thought I could let you know how you and your family get me out of my lonely "widow" funk by having so much fun cooking. My husband used to love my cooking and I should be able to get a lot of work out of my kids with "My home cooking", (compliments of Cowboy Kent and Shannon). Thanks. Maybe if I can get us all around the food I'll remember to take a picture and send you one. Bless you and Shannon, and the Beag!

WOW! The beagle is right, these ribs are great. On the grill I took half of the rack and covered them with BBQ sauce thinking I'd like that better, don't bother, the dry doesn't need any help. The blend of the brown sugar and the chili powder go great together. My wife who works nights as a nurse woke up late afternoon as I was finishing the ribs, she had her "breakfast" but then sampled the ribs, she said they taste good at breakfast too. She like the dry rub better and took my left overs to work. Thanks and keep sharing your cooking wisdom.
Made my day when beag kept poking his paws and head up on the table. I gotta say Kent you’re my favorite cook to watch for any recipe. Have a good weekend!
Howdy Kent, I don’t know who actually is having more fun. You, Shannon and the beagle creating these videos or me watching!!! I’ve had some baby back ribs before, but they didn’t look anything like yours and I’m positive they didn’t taste as good as yours!!! Great video as usual and thanks for sharing a small part of your life with me!!! Wishing you all the best! Art PS: that beagle have any white tail deer in his blood??? As high as he jumped I don’t think he’d have any trouble clearing a four strand barb wire fence!!!
Great recipe Kent, i really like ribs also. I like the baby backs, spare ribs, beef ribs, i hunt quite a bit and i wish deer had some good ribs, little to no meat unfortunately. God bless my good friend.
@@CowboyKentRollins lol, but they are on the move quite a bit so i would guess that is the reason, plus their fat, what little there is , it's not to tasty
@@stevelogan5475 Unfortunately I can only find pre packaged in white plastic (so you can't see them till it's too late) they only leave a enough gristle to hold the bones together with large holes between and all shiners : ( Costco and the few local butchers told me they don't even carry them too bad
Dear Mr. Rollins, I tried your recipe and it turned out great. We had company over for a few racks of ribs from a pig we butchered this year and the compliments just kept coming. I did give credit where credit is due. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
The best dry rib rub I ever had was made by one of my professors and he got it from a man who went to bbq competitions and stuff. It had cajun spices in it and a secret ingredient which made it really good.... instant coffee. It was so good. Never would have thought of putting instant coffee in a rib rub but now I can't think of leaving it out. Enjoyed the video, as always.
Always look forward each week to your videos. I sure enjoy watching. God bless you Mr. Kent, your pretty missus Miss Shannon, and the impatient Security Beagle, lol, for all of ya'll's hard work.
I made this a few weeks ago, it is everything Kent says it is!! I'm watching it again because for the life of me I couldn't recall how the chicken broth was used? Got it!! Time to go in and make up the rub!!
Looks great! I do a two step method at home myself. But I'm going to have to try this awesome dry rub! Great time for pork in general, a lot great deals out there lately!

Ive made a few of your recipes while camping. I have a wide variety of cast iron pots and pans and we all love to make a recipe i created. Its called fire side apple pie. In my arsenal of cast iron pans are 8 4 inch pans and 8 6 inch pans. It allows adults and children to create their own pies. Love the over all message of your channel..
Kent, I have made these several times over the last year since this video came out and the ribs have been excellent each time. One thing I have done when I had a busy day and still wanted ribs was to cook them in the Crock Pot for 4-6 hours while I was out and then I finished them on the Weber grill. These have been excellent. I would say the quality and taste was as good as when I used a Dutch oven. Just another tool in my tool box...
oh my.... awesome video!!!! got 3 racks of baby backs going on the grill tomorrow night!!! let the dog eat! hahaah I have the same problem with our chocolate lab...... I enjoy watching you in action - someone thoroughly enjoying what he does and the way you talk. Thanks very much.
I do love what I do and who I do it with and the country we are in, Thank you for watching
You should do a collaboration with Townsends. Perhaps a recipe from the goldrush era.
While the late 19th century is kinda late for John, I'm sure he could make an exception.
God bless Kent and family. Good videos, entertaining and informative. Keep it going brother.
Thank you David for watching, and God bless you as well
Just got your cook book, can’t wait to read it and try a couple recipes!! Thanks 😁😁
Hope you enjoy
There is alot in there, and trust me, it's all good
Thank you so much Kyle for watching and have a great weekend
dodge pick up is my dream of life. i kindly envy you , cowboy! thanks for great lesson as always! you are best
Hey Sir, hope your doing well those Ribs look real good and I like that Rub you put on them...take care God Bless 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸.
Howdy Kent,
I don’t know who actually is having more fun.
Art
PS: that beagle have any white tail deer in his blood??? As high as he jumped I don’t think he’d have any trouble clearing a four strand barb wire fence!!!
Thanks Art for watching and God bless you
reminds me of my grandfather wow love the videos! Keep this man pure!!!
From a budding cook and former U.S. Army soldier - THANK YOU for the great recipes and a solid respect for our current and former service members.
Thanks for watching Adam and for your service
Great recipe Kent, i really like ribs also. I like the baby backs, spare ribs, beef ribs, i hunt quite a bit and i wish deer had some good ribs, little to no meat unfortunately. God bless my good friend.
So hard to find beef ribs without 98% of the meat trimmed away.
I hear you Steve them deer ribs are pretty sparse on. meat
@@CowboyKentRollins lol, but they are on the move quite a bit so i would guess that is the reason, plus their fat, what little there is , it's not to tasty
@@bobfish3176 i know, here in ky., you have to tell them in advance that you want or meat is gone.
@@stevelogan5475 Unfortunately I can only find pre packaged in white plastic (so you can't see them till it's too late) they only leave a enough gristle to hold the bones together with large holes between and all shiners : ( Costco and the few local butchers told me they don't even carry them too bad
Kent, absolutely love your channel, great cooking and entertaining...love it 👍🏻
Thank you so much for watching
Wow, Red Dead Redemption 2's graphics look a lot better than I thought they would.
VR has really come a long way
Should your comment supposed to be funny?? Not at all kid go somewhere else and be stupid. Don't disrespect that mans work.
And very wholesome too
@@blackhood9214it's actually a funny JOKE and I see no disrespect in the comment. Lighten up, life is short!
@@blackhood9214 You don't even know what Red Dead Redemption is. Shut up.
Dear Mr. Rollins,
I tried your recipe and it turned out great. We had company over for a few racks of ribs from a pig we butchered this year and the compliments just kept coming. I did give credit where credit is due. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Simply beautiful landscape...Lord willing Texas will be my retirement home in 2022.....Oklahoma would be okay as well. Thanks Ken
Thank you for watching
"Beag" - Counter Surfer Extroardinaire!
If he was a bit thinner he would have had that rib bone!
12:13 Beagle is ready for more. Reminds me of the old saying: "You can trust a dog to guard your house, but not your ribs!"
For sure on that
Nothing better than *Baby Back Ribs!!!*
For sure, Thank you for watching
This is the only cooking channel I want to watch
The best dry rib rub I ever had was made by one of my professors and he got it from a man who went to bbq competitions and stuff. It had cajun spices in it and a secret ingredient which made it really good.... instant coffee. It was so good. Never would have thought of putting instant coffee in a rib rub but now I can't think of leaving it out.
Enjoyed the video, as always.
I have used coffee grounds on occasion, it is good stuff
Always look forward each week to your videos. I sure enjoy watching. God bless you Mr. Kent, your pretty missus Miss Shannon, and the impatient Security Beagle, lol, for all of ya'll's hard work.
Thank you Harold for watching and God bless you as well
I guess the "out takes" mean the official food inspector approves. 😁
The inspector wasn't fully sure if it passed and needed another bite or 2 or 3, 4, 5 lol
I didn't realize he could jump that high.
Yep
The beagle has a weakness for ribs
We LOVE BABY BACK RIBS!! Thanks for another great recipe Cowboy Kent.
Thank you Carrie for watching
I made this a few weeks ago, it is everything Kent says it is!! I'm watching it again because for the life of me I couldn't recall how the chicken broth was used? Got it!! Time to go in and make up the rub!!
Y’all are blessed with such beautiful scenery down there
Yes we are Jon. Thanks for watching.
I have learned not to watch this wonderful channel WHEN I'M HUNGRY! Much love to Coyboy Kent!
Thank you Jason for watching
Looks great! I do a two step method at home myself. But I'm going to have to try this awesome dry rub! Great time for pork in general, a lot great deals out there lately!
Thank you for watching and let me know that you think about the rub
Keeping it hot with big ol' Bertha 💥💥
Hands down the best channel to watch and learn to grill. As one other TH-camr said "the last cowboy on earth". Sir, your channel is great and thank you for all of your tips.
Thanks for watching
Winner winner dry rub BBQ dinner. I’m 54 years old and have never removed the silver skin from the bones side, thanks for the tip and another great recipe.

I'll be honest, I don't care for ribs. But I happened upon your videos last night and I am hooked. So many of your recipes look great. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
Try them and we hope you enjoy
Great video.
The Beagle was the real star.... we have had so much rain the Red River is bank to bank in our country....I can see the clouds in this video.... rain is coming. These ribs look great. Thanks for posting this video.

Erik Cresswell it’s a Texas thing feller
God bless our amazing Vets!
Trixie was okay with this video up until the point about sharing the ribs. I try to teach her good manners but she just doesn't listen.
Thanks!
Give Trixie a treat form us, and Thank you for watching
Lol! Great job on the ribs, Mr. Kent, but I think the Beag stold the show today! LOL! ! Blessings from Dallas, TX!
Yep, what a beag
Oh he did for sure, Thank you for watching
Ive made a few of your recipes while camping. I have a wide variety of cast iron pots and pans and we all love to make a recipe i created. Its called fire side apple pie. In my arsenal of cast iron pans are 8 4 inch pans and 8 6 inch pans. It allows adults and children to create their own pies. Love the over all message of your channel..
Thanks Jeffery for watching
Kent, I have made these several times over the last year since this video came out and the ribs have been excellent each time. One thing I have done when I had a busy day and still wanted ribs was to cook them in the Crock Pot for 4-6 hours while I was out and then I finished them on the Weber grill. These have been excellent. I would say the quality and taste was as good as when I used a Dutch oven. Just another tool in my tool box...
Bet is does work well, so glad you enjoyed
The Beag peeking up on the table sayin; "I think this needs MORE quality control inspections Boss!"
Thanks Y'all!
Thank you for watching
I take the Beagles word that them was some darn good ribs
He does like some ribs
oh my.... awesome video!!!! got 3 racks of baby backs going on the grill tomorrow night!!! let the dog eat! hahaah I have the same problem with our chocolate lab...... Mr. Man wants to eat all the meat!!!!
Keep it up Kent!!!! I think we're on our third order of Red River Ranch! and even picked up the mesquite version this time too!!! can't wait to see what's next!!!!
Thanks Rick so much for watching and give that Lab a treat
I love seeing you cook from that vantage point overlooking the river. So peaceful and serene. Who needs any of the modern conveniences that simply distract? This is the ORIGINAL method of entertaining oneself.
Great place it is
So wholesome! I really enjoy watching someone keeping the southern traditions alive all the while being relaxing to watch with a bit of good ol' comedy
Thank you for watching
