@@SRDmotorsports i finished porting my manifold and should install it on cl9 this month. So that induction setup is next, if it proves it self in your testing. I have learned alot from your videos. Thanks for sharing and helping people to learn.
Most of this research was done by myself and others 20 years ago. Best setup is a hogged out H22 or 23 lower half (depending on which head is being run) and H22 upper plenum also hogged out. I tested double butterfly plates that were cut out as well as kaizenspeed 1 2 and 3 inch spacers. Found that most power was made with just hogging out the base manifold and runners, with a regular butterfly spacer cut out.
Yes sir! Definitely and that’d make u one of the pioneers as well as the others Much deserved credit And good point that’s often neglected “Depending on which head is being run”
I'm working on it right now, but I have some doubts. Is the intermediate plate with butterflies necessary? My idea is to leave only the upper and lower manifold part.
Hahahaha thanks man! Btw prince henry? but yeah have a vti candidate, a possible d15 candidate and Ofcourse my d16a6 esi engine I plan to pull down to “re assemble” for you guys :) I figured it would be cool Cuz as I declared “pm7” pistons? It actually has a legit ph12 pistons and I have the specs such as dome cc and compression height and can calculate with you guys which is info most locals would appreciate cuz there is virtually no ph12 specs out there but I measured all of it 😎
@@SRDmotorsports btw may I also request? Comparison between 2.0 and 2.5 pipings which is better and what should be properly done or breakdown yung so called na most common word "sungaw" Thank you! 🤩
@@hendrii476 actually on the “sungaw” portion been planning to kase I kept the old drawing I did of a full exhaust so been planning to make a specific video about it that talks about size and exhaust length but also how it’s connected to intake length etc so perhaps soon but def a good one u mentioned atleast it shows me it’s gonna get interests ftw
Man I can wait to u guys start working on that h2b u start morevateme to finish my swap I usually but the cosmery spacer that 1320 made is pretty good great content
Oh thanks man! Honestly I try to include a variation of tech on each video so atleast it covers a wider spectrum And as car guys you know we have a wide spectrum of thought… on engine swaps alone we prolly have thought a lot of craziness 😂🤣😂
Thaaaanks Doc! some things don’t get talked about and it seems “sayang” like the short turn and long turn stuff and how each manifold actually is different in bends so that’s something worth tackling
Great looking runner entries! I've been running double-stacked IAB plates with just the butterlies deleted and an H23 plenum on my NA F22a for well over a decade, and I've always wanted to gut it, but never liked any of the ways I'd seen people do it. I think I'll have to try your design, now that I have a T67 that would benefit from the airflow. Keep the videos coming! You are putting out great information.
Oh man I envy you! Having it “stacked” which prolly worked better too like increasing runner length and yep I think this way especially cuz the t67 won’t mind it Will prolly work wonders for you! Working now on the “race” version of the same manifold so soon will have that too Ps. It’s a personal manifold so obviously we all feel we need “race” spec 😂
it actually is but with a slight different approach but the understanding remains the same back then in Honda-Tech ive talked to and luckily he let me bug him almost daily via email about this, the late great Randy Monroe of RMF which made or built Erick Aguilar's plenum on the GSR manifold and ran 9s downside is it dont look as good cuz the fabbed plenum is under lol plus Erick Aguilar ran 85x95 so atleast a b20 block in this case application
I did the IAB delete on my B18C1 before switching to a skunk2 pro series. Surprising, the bottom end didn’t feel like shit with the butterflies disabled “kept open” I’m sure I lost some tq… but then again, I had a Ericks Racing obd1 P72 designed for the skunk manifold for the base map.

I'm going to try the K20 Ultra Street in H22. In theory I've seen gains from a +14hp RBC and the Ultra Street +9hp in K20 against the RBC, so in theory should be like +23hp, all theory, I'll let you know!
Race version is up now let’s get it rolling guys! 😎

Yep took longer to finish the vid some scenes u can hear the rain 😂 and that was the “lightest” rain moment 😮
Nice! I used to manufacture platelets kits. Intake plates for f and h as well. Good to see people still racing and modifying h&f motors
Oh nice ! You one of the good guys I see… I mean those that allowed the H and F to expand as it is now!
Im really looking forward for that intake/induction stack on tb test.

You will need the plate for sealing. Also it’s been dyno proven to make more hp with at least the butterfly plate in. My current setup is a 2” plate.

I just did this to my h23a I’m going to see how much hp it adds I didn’t grind down the dividers as good as you did would it effect it a lot ?

Just u know us car guys , we like “race” level 😅 so I did the Race version hehehe
Can you port a gsr intake manifold just like this h22 one
I have a vid on that
@SRDmotorsports in your gsr intake manifold video you didn't cutout the dividers just ported the ports
Yes it was too much work and I wasn’t gonna use it yet anytime soon it’s just at the storage shelf now
I'm going to try the K20 Ultra Street in H22. In theory I've seen gains from a +14hp RBC and the Ultra Street +9hp in K20 against the RBC, so in theory should be like +23hp, all theory, I'll let you know!
that should be really really be interesting!!!
Do i need a remap after this??
Yes definitely
So basically bro cut out the butterfly dividers and widen the short turn and long turn and make it straight and nice and polished lol
Widen short turn and all yep in a nut shell
So on the short turn, you're widening the ports, and increasing the turn radius, is that correct?
Yeah we are limited on the radius as we could punch a hole (I’ve done that a lot of times lol)
But widening is less risky yet helps the same
So yep
