  • An often slept on Intake Manifold from the B16a Si non typeR
we discuss its potential and possible advantages when it comes to runner length and porting it for greater performance over stock
We also calculate with you guys the 2nd harmonic effect and rpm range on a b16a dyno sheet we have to expand on the topic even further
This is to give more ideas and info for each one of you guys
that could lead to a more fun project or plans for the future
an take note! Locally this is available so do let us know!

I try to do my best as the goal of this shop channel is to “share” awareness on work, meaning if others can’t explain what they can do for you? Why send them your money? Lol
Ofcourse for peeps like you on a different and far away country, shipping isn’t practical and Ofcourse a lot of DIY guys so I am aware and try to help
But see for our locals here? I hope they don’t get it twisted that a skilled shop work result they can replicate as DIY lol
Tbh I’ve had DM’s at the shop page of guys who just had a shop build their engine showed me photos and wow just like how we do it? Except they made

IMO too scary I mean it might still peel… but I guess polishing it to a finer grit is def doable as I’ve done that, just too tiring 😀 and the Makita screaming “stop”
But good thing to bring it up… as generally a lot get confused by mixing different aspects of different “practice”
Our intake manifold is “dry flow”
Why? Cuz no fuel yet 😎 and the characteristics and reactions in a dry flow aren’t always identical to “wet flow”

Do you want your engine ingesting that paint when it peels off? Polish it to a mirror like finish that's how its properly done.

Hi, I got some question. I also use the P30 intake manifold, if I do this Port and Polish in my intake manifold, the function is same as ITR manifold or better than it?

    • @SRDmotorsports
      @SRDmotorsports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Maybe a bit the same but it’s complicated…. Example on a B16a yes it could work like that but for a B18 or B20 the ITR might work better because of volume it’s bigger

it has some effect to fuel consumption. for a daily driven car, better go with long runner since you won't be revving the engine high all the time. you'd be on low to mid-range RPM most of the time

    • @SRDmotorsports
