    I' did this mob on my gswab f22b block with h22 head almost finishing but no time and 89mm wiseco piston low comp but love to see how u port that intake I was struggling with it great content

    wow at the end of the video i see you have an EG8 civic just like mine ,that's cool and mine is 1.5 D15b7 too but at the moment the engine is disarm and have a lots of parts i even buy some pg6 (d16a1) pistons to build a high compression motor but put it on hold for the moment ,what you think about the piston choise over the pm3 😁💪

      Yes! Not an eg9 🙁 lol but yeah! Working on making a content about it and some engine talks which would suit u guys ftw…
      On pistons and pm3 wow if U got a set of pg6 that’s tons BETTER! Back then I wanted those but couldn’t find it on eBay to be sure and didn’t wanna risk it all the way to Asia lol!
      Oh I realize on ur d15b7 another good option is the PM0 pistons local to me which il talk about next video fo sho

    That tip on the GSR manifold was much appreciated brother. All these years lurking the forums I never saw the pics of Erick's reworked manifold but read alot of that car, thank you for showing those. Gave me inspiration, I have a EDM civic mb6 with the B18C4 and I'm turboing it, already got another manifold to chop up. Now the big question, was Erick really on the bottle on that 9 second pass? I've seen people swear by yes and no loool

      Thanks man! Was just lucky to talk thru Pm with Randy Monroe back then and I used to bug him a lot about primary length and secondary length etc on exhaust/headers and all of those notes? He answered = I kept safe it’s also why I do plan on designing headers soon and Ofcourse only “here” will it be showcased

      maaaaan that topic has been spent a lot indeed I never asked Randy cuz I figured a lot of people he doesn’t share info with was prolly asking the same right away loool
      but I feel if he did? It was just a 10-20shot I think the goal or intention was more to be like “the first”
      If you remember He was neck and neck with Bisi and Bisi had the higher mph but Erick ran quicker so prolly better traction. They were both like 10.1 and 10.16sec lol!
      So if he did? I don’t think it’s like “we need to be on the juice to run 9s” it was more like needed that extra 10-20hp just to be the “first”

      I'm a bit too young to remember, because when I was capable to understand english and curious to learn more alot of threads had already been taken down on honda tech :( but that theory on the small shot I think I never heard about it ahah
      Good luck on the headers ,as always I'm really curious to see the data ahah, garage 4age as some nice videos about headers (just in case you don't know about him). I can't help but imagine you with your own Dyno, let's try and make it happen

      @@tiagosilva2635 I mean I can’t say he was on the bottle but if he was? That was the only sensible reason I can think of because nobody saw or found a “tank” 😂
      So a small one is easy to hide lol
      Not the “harry I need two of these two of the big ones” 😂
      And yes!! Garage 4age I watch a lot and even before I made this channel last year during the first start of the pandemic, that’s one of the few I always checked
      And maaaan even if a dyno needs ALOT of room? All this time I felt even just an “engine” dyno will be worth Gold for finding and sharing info here!
      it’s not to compare on “other” dyno but to find “gains” on mods
      It’s prolly why skunk2 has their own engine dyno aside from dynojet
      As well as Endyn back when he was active

      Just lucky I got to talk to Randy Monroe
      Even Don Flores of DFenterprise
      He is DonF in honda-tech thru email he shared me a lot he used to race in the scca gt3/4 class and he raced with or against the Mugen crx so he had a lot of good info
      Plus years after? His competitor sent the crx to be rebuild the Mugen D16a6 ! So I got some cool cool tips from him

      For 50hp gain easiest would be pro2 cams and either port manifold like this or skunk2 pro series intake + good exhaust

      My h22 is disassembled I will order the parts. What high compression piston and connecting rods would you recommend? camshafts? injectors and fuel pump? I'm thinking of ordering the skunk2 pro series intake manifold, good choice?
      I already have an an P28+Hondata s300 ecu,balance shaft removal kit ks tuned with oil pump 4 pistons inclued, clutch competition stage 2 clutch kit and an SRS full exhaust.

      @@sebastiengaudens5986 yes skunk2 pro2 is a good good choice
      Get the npr/typeS pistons because it’s oem replacement u can’t go Wiseco or super tech aftermarket because h22 has FRM sleeve so must use oem
      But u can resleeve the engine to let u run aftermarket pistons but will be more expensive

      @@sebastiengaudens5986 no you will need to resleeve your block with Iron sleeve because right now it’s FRM and that doesn’t work with forged pistons

      I always wanted a euro R h22 and over years the f20b got my interest. It'd be cool to see a high rpm f20b like one in Canada that runs 10s.
      As for cam choices one is the Brian Crower stage 3 cams. I'm kinda interested in how they'd perform and sound at high rpm

      @@SRDmotorsports yessir it's pretty nice indeed I wouldn't mind having one. Especially with some of your manifold work and some good cams. Even the RM cams would be nice. Do you guys have Jun cams for h22 around? The numbers on them look decent :)

      It’s okay but not enough for any big power

      tbh ? I’m not sure I mean half of the reason for it is we hear people speak of it either cuz they sell it? Or wish to buy it?
      it’s okay to run it but a skunk2 pro series h22 intake would prolly do as good or better
      And then anything more or if needing more power/performance then porting the manifold like we did here is the next step

      @@SRDmotorsports i have a skunk2 as well but after vtec engages it doesnt climb at all it seems like the curve platues ..before vtec it looks like it really wants to climb crossover point not much gains it did make 186whp 169tq it did have the stock header to a 3inch exhaust tuner told me with stock internals header wont make a difference

      but a header and exhaust strangles a motor
      like the d15 we dynoed because it still had 2in exh no matter what vstack we added it didn’t do anything
      Can’t add “IN” when they can’t “ex” out

      @@findtherightbeat H22 is under a huge pile of “stuff” just managed to unbolt the manifold last year during lockdown 😂 so I had the chance now to work on it lol
      Definitely chose the EG for ease of work on almost any engine platform/choice that’s one of the reasons ftw cuz the Hatch was sold in 2012 🥲 to find the SRD continuation so it was worth it

      @@SRDmotorsports His manifold and header design is interesting but these were never mass produced as far as I know. Guys like him who were able to spend all day in the dyno to really R&D are very lucky. Hondata wouldn't have asked him to build their engines if he wasn't up to it.
      Sorry to go off-topic, but something I recall is how King's tuner and Joe had the same opinion on header pairing. They both didn't agree with Hytech's pairing (which have very good results too). These two guys also spent lots of hours on the dyno but so did John.. Just imagine if Joe and Randy were still around and they had John on a podcast with them. Sorry, it's just my early morning ramblings and wishful thinking hahaha
