My mom used ArmorAll on the dash of her El Camino and yes after awhile it did dry it out and crack it, since then I refuse to use there products, great video Josh 👍😁

Man I just wanna say right now, you are the best at describing and being completely honest with your reviews. I’ve been watching these types of videos for years now and you’re the first one to really be completely honest. I just subscribed and will continue to watch your videos man! Thanks and good luck!!

Dashes cracked in the 80’s because of the plastic, not likely from armorall dressing. They have since improved the plastics greatly, even including uv protection in the resin.
If you had a car in the 80’s the dash likely cracked whether you put any dressing on it or not.
It’s a complete myth. Not that I’m going to buy their stuff lol.

Hi Josh. I’m really old and was in high school when Armor All came out. I think the rumors of Armor All are false because dashes cracked really bad long before it came out.

Might as well mix the Meguiars kit with the CG interior kit. The Ultimate wash and Wax + Ceramic detailer alone would be great for any beginner.

I have a turtle wax kit, that i mixed with a chemical guys kit. They both work great together, and more cost affective to use them in unison.

The CG tire shine and silk shine are different I've used both. I really like the tire shine. I like the consistency and it's not overly shiny on my tires. The Silk and shine is more of a matt finish. They both work great 🙂

Yes, in the 80s all who used their product in the dashboard all changed color and we called them cooked dashboards because they changed from beige to brown. We knew who used their product instead of using just a normal cardboard shade 😄😄 here sun is a killer if you don't have UV protection. Well you already know that since you know how the sun and temperature is here all year long 😄

The glass wipes work great for removing salt off of our sunglass after a day of fishing. They are fishing glasses and scratched to crap anyhow so I don't mind them being used on the sunglasses.

I have tried the chemical guys tire kicker and I like it as a tire shine. It works great but of course I wipe it down. As far as the kits i have bought the Walmart chemical guys bucket kit and liked it. Also I have bought the Meguiars kit as well. I have also got a armor all kit for a gift. I use them products for my pull behind trailer. The glass wipes I would use them to clean up spills or clean my hands. They leave lint on a window

As a young man I didn’t know better and used armor all for my first car and it would leave lint and even cracked and dried my dash ended up getting a new car and use only meguiars, car pro , adams and chemical guy producs and it does wonders I would stay away from armor all reason stuff is cheap lol

Armorall products are a hit or miss. They are definitely better than they were 5 years ago. I still don’t use them and don’t recommend it to anyone.
If you want the best products, Adams or chemical guys. They are a little expensive.
If you want a really great product that’s a bit cheaper, meguiars and turtle wax. My entire setup is turtle wax, I don’t see a performance increase with Adams or chemical guys that justifies the price.

Armor All original formula used to look and smell like 303. This new original formula is different and doesn't seem water based however I use it as a tire dressing because it works better than alot of dedicated dressings for me. How about actually testing the dubious products against your go to to see if they really are crap. My take on the glass wipes is you use then to knock down grease finger prints etc and then finish with a microfibre. No way just water and a microfiber gets my kids grubby prints off the glass.

There are a lot of best of videos and similar. Everyone has their own preferences on what they use and they seem to vary quite a bit. No one seems to do videos on products they used that are pure crap. I would love to know which products we should really stay away from. Also to see if there is more of a consensus opinion on those.
