Not everyone has access to, or the budget for professional/premium car detailing products. Looking after your car with less than premium products is still 100% better than not looking after it at all.
I actually use CarPro Reset because it's cheaper than consumer grade products. I will say sometimes there is a bit more fun in the consumer grade stuff that enhances the user experience. I like Meguire's Pink bottle too but it's insane to see that it's no lone $4 and sits at $9 and Gold Class has suffered price creep for quite awhile plus the 2020 bump. The Adam's is amazing but expensive and nothing special, but so enjoyable but after a few bottles I figured out that CarPro was actually so much cheaper. Getting to the last third of the bottle so I'm already on the hunt for something else that offers value and hopefully a tiny bit more user experience. High concentrates can offer value that isn't readily apparent, plus they just take up less space.
Another great video. And I do enjoy most of your videos.I would have liked to see you. I would have loved to see you.Pick your favorite 4 products 1 for tires 1 interior cleaner, shampoo and your favorite quick detail spray
When I was a kid and went into a store with my mother, I'd run straight to the toy section to see what was there. 40 years later, when I go into AutoZone, I do the exact same thing with the car detailing section.....There just always seems to be SOMETHING that I "need". Great video, Pan.
That is the MOST ca.r detailing products I've ever seen at any Autozone, I'm very impressed. They must've known Pan was on the rd and they re-up their arsenal
You make me want to leave work and go detail a vehicle! I enjoy these box store videos. I'm surprised there's not more car detailing stores. I could spend hours and dollars there. Keep up the good work.
When I see a video like this it reminds me of a young person like my son that loves to detail his car but doesn’t have a credit card to order products online, he’s able to find decent products locally at the auto-parts store, great video Pan 👍😁
@@davestewart9146 Almost anyone can get a gas credit card even with no credit history. This is a great way to establish credit and qualify for a Visa/MC. Paying cash inside before you pump is a huge hassle: 2 steps, waiting in line, parking, bad weather

Agree that Turtle Wax is knocking it out of the park these days. As a side note; I still use my Meguiars x-press detailer on my vinyl interior weekly cleaning. Seems to work well with my 303 that I only use 2 to 3 times a year. I am not a professional but I know what I like.
Great video, my Auto zone in Pickerington , Ohio definitely doesn’t have that selection of detailing products, I seem to get a film on my black rims that has to be waxed off after I use a variety of products 😮
Not gonna lie, I’ve been waiting for something like this. Even though I don’t often go for these kinds of stores looking for detailing products (mainly because I choose Gyeon and Carpro and brands like that for my detailing needs), I still use Turtle Wax as a go-to brand for good quality results for those times I don’t need something professional for things like ATVs and tractors. Either way a good video for those who don’t need professional products or are on a budget.
Thank you for these vids that focus on the DIYers . I've seen customer cars that were washed with dish soap or laundry detergent, among other things that were a lot worse . This type of vid shows the average person that there are affordable options out there .
Advanced Auto now sells Chemical Guys products which is not too bad of a product line. Auto-Zone does also have some good cleaning supplies, either way your going to be spending money. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
There are some really good products at Autozone. The box stores are a very important part of the detailing world and seeing the huge selection is cool. Back in the eighties we had Meguiars, Mothers, and Armor All. There were a few other products in stores like Wal Mart when you traveled to the big city.
I love that pan is still around just feel so good to see him. And that autozone had a lot of stuff. And yes please do oreily’s that’s where I go. But i learned a little more in this video thanks to you. I’ve been following for years and detailing my own car for years now. I use super clean on my tires Use the gold class soap use the invisible glass and Adam’s graphene tire dressing for a matted finish

Out of all the US auto parts stores, AutoZone has the least number of detail products I like. They’re only saving grace is McGuire’s, Turtle Wax and a few products from Griot’s garage. Hey Pan! Follower, fan, and from Albany! Enjoy your stay! On the weekends at Kohls, there is a weekly car enthusiast show in the late afternoons, early evenings. Worth the stop!
I know a lot of people don't like the Armor All products, but I have to say that the Armor All Extreme Wheel and Tire cleaner is awesome and really makes my aluminum wheels pop!!
Well Pan, you told me you were going to do an Auto Zone auto detailing products review and you came through!!! The Auto Zone in Albany far surpasses the one closest to me... Likely due to their populace being higher. Can't wait for your Auto Advance auto detailing products review! Thanks for posting!!
Great video. I try to stay stocked up now but especially when in first got into detailing I would run out. It’s nice to know what auto zone has to get if needed! The auto zone u went to def has a 25% more than mine in Northern Illinois. I wish a Lowe’s or even auto zone would commit to higher end a little more. Also I wish they would stock a lot more compounds and pads! It would be nice to have 5” and 6” in few colors. The store near me only has a couple 6”. Great video Pan!
Oh man, the Gold Class Soap was a classic go-to for me and heck I'd still use it today, but I've been ruined by soaps like Adam's and KCx GSF. After watching your battle video I did indeed buy some Griot's Ceramic 3-1 from my local AutoZone because it was readily available even though I bought a lot of their stuff online. I'm a sucker for P&S nowadays so I very rarely pick up Griots much anymore.
Love the clip pan! I’m a fan of advanced auto mainly due to there “speed perks” awards, but like some of the comments, I happen to pop in weekly for maybe a quick gem find if I become inpatient of waiting for shipping lol
Hey Pan, great video. I've used an "Absorber" synthetic drying towels for years but only out of habit, and definitely willing to switch to a superior method. I'd love to see you do a video on the merits of different drying media and products!! I definitely think that's a worthy topic!
WoW! very good. I'm surprised you skipped over the Lexol (2:19) - great for keeping your leather from drying out. And Klasse 3 in 1 (didn't see here) is great on old old old paint.
I would love to see you go to an Orielly and review Superior products they have stored in the back, you would have to ask for it at the counter up front. Specifically Dark fury(wheel cleaner), aqua gloss(interior and exterior dressing), zap it(stain cleaner),road warrior(tar and bug), cherry foam (foam soap), and formula 4 (wax)
I live in the Bay Area, California and this looks like a standard detail section to me. I’ve been to many AutoZones in the East Bay and this looks pretty standard 👍🏻
Autozone is one of the few ways we have access to mid range detailing products at an almost reasonable price in Mexico. Amazon and local reseller prices are about 3-4x what they are in the US and Canada. A 16 oz bottle of Adam’s car shampoo is $32. When it is originally $9.99. 32 oz Koch chemie GSF is $40. At least at autozone you can get a 16 oz Mr pink for $13.79 here. (Still 40% markup)
I would love to see you do a review of the Superior Products line. O'Reilly sells a lot of it but they are really catered toward professional detailers so they usually don't stock a lot of their products in store. They make the Cover All tire and interior dressing in a blue can that you passed over in this video, and it is usually found in store. Works really well with low-gloss or matte finish if you use sparingly. I have used several of their products over the years with great results and I am wanting to expand my passion of detailing into a part time and hopefully full time career later down the road. I would love to get your opinion on their products! And I love your videos by the way, they have really helped inspire me to try and use my passion to grow as a person.
Hello Pan, Thank you for your informative and always positive information on the products you use to detail cars. I only use Turtle wax products and I love the way they perform. My question is, does the Turtle wax ceramic spray coating work as advertised, or does the Turtle wax ICE wax spray work just as well. I am not quite sold on the ceramic coating spray wax yet. I'm old school when it comes to keeping my cars clean. I just wash and spray wax them to keep them looking good. Any help would be appreaciated. Again, thanks for all your information. Take care and stay safe!
The Hybrid Solutions Spray Coating can last 7-8 months if you apply 2 layers (24 hrs between layers) so yes it’s much more durable compared to ICE Spray Wax. ICE is their mid-tier. Hybrid Solutions is their high end. But even better than Ceramic Spray Coating is the newer Graphene Flex Wax which I tested in this video: th-cam.com/video/b5BjDzItlr8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Boo_3sj8TtwVdJJf For an idea of all my top products recommendations, see my popular annual car detailing products awards here: th-cam.com/video/KRv7vKsuliQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rSzCTSmGRJEsVY5h
Auto Zone has really stepped up their products in the recent years. You used to be able to get a few higher end Megan’s products and that was it. Now they really have some good, affordable stuff.
Great video. YES, please drop by a O'Reilly Auto Parts. They have a great selection. Recently, it was hard deciding between the Meguiar's Ultimate line, Griots Ceramic line, and Turtle Wax Ceramic/Hybrid line. The Turtle won. :)
New to your channel. I had a feeling you were Canadian by the sound of your voice. I have a good friend from Montreal. We meet up in Albany to get our families together now and then. And my son and I went to the NY auto show this year too. What terrible weather it was the day we went. I’m a novice detailer. Here for the knowledge and tips.

ouah c’est une vraie caverne d’Alibaba !!! Je crois que je vais abandonner les hold-up des banques pour en effectuer un là-bas !!!. Salut Pan et bonne « dégustation » de tous ces bons produits. Bernard
AutoZone in Mexico has a lot of products from Turtle Wax, Meguiar's, Chemical guys, etc just not all their complete lineups. The good thing is that you can buy on one store and collect at another where they have it OR you can wait for them to bring it to the closest store to you.
belle panoplie de produits. En passant, ton frère a fait une super job de cameraman. excellent cadrage, camera move. Très clean! :) Passez une belle fin de semaine!
Extra nice set of options on car detailing products.. Thanks for showing us that Pan. It would be nice if an effort was made for either Pan or someone else to further promote Canadian distributors especially that are price competitive and centrally located in eastern/Atlantic Canada so that we don't have top wait a week for delivery and at a reasonable rate of delivery cost...Suggestion for future endeavours!!! Merci bien...
I'd rather wait and spend just the extra little bit more to have the best I could afford. I appreciate my cars and just want the best for them. A top saving tip is use a rinseless wash once your car is at a level to be able to maintain it with a rinseless wash instead of lots of different chemicals and products, you can use a rinseless wash to clean every surface inside and out. It'll clean light brake dust, tyres, dashboard and glass. Just make sure you use a fresh bucket and microfiber towels for the inside. That way its probably thee most cost effective way to maintain a clean car. DIY detailing rinseless or P&S absolute is another good rinseless wash.
Random question… watching this, something from 20 or 30 years ago just popped up from my memory. A car care product that was a bottle which had a much smaller bottle which came with it, and in fact the smaller bottle ‘snapped’ into a side recess for storage on the larger one.
Love the videos Pan! I was wondering can/should you clay (synthetic or bar) a ceramic coated car during a yearly maintenance cleaning? Also, do you have any videos covering Gyeon Cure? Thanks and I appreciate all the great information you’ve already given me!
Where I live, which is a little town in Norway, we have something called BilXtra ("bil" means car). They have good selection of Meguiars, Rupes, Turtle Wax, Turtle Wax Pro, Autoglym and Koch Chemie. Pretty cool, don't you think? 🇳🇴😊

I love 🐢 was wheel and tire cleaner, tht things goes extremely fast. I’m one who loves a wetter tire looking shine 🐢wax knocked it out the park with tht one. I’m not a fan of McGuires line after using their interior cleaner. Adam’s has great stuff to I’m always willing to try different brands except for armor worst
Have you noticed they only carry one TurtleWax Mist, the Pure Shine? Same problem with Advance Auto. I had to go to Walmart to get the Leather Mist and less expensive TW Ceramic Slick Shine Mist which works just as fine for a topper to my Hybrid Sol Flex Wax.
Hi Pan: Great review on all the he Auto Zone products. Short Q: You talk about leaving a desc. under the video. I’ve tried all the buttons etc and I do not see anything that refers to curator’s Links. If you have time, can you guide me along. I am sure I’m missing something very simple. T(ans from SW Ontario.

My local AutoZone is the same.
Looks like every Autozone I've ever been in lol.
I agree!! lol they knew he was coming because here in Las Vegas we don’t even have half of that 💀
I live by an advance auto parts and they got hella detailing stuff they even got a clearance detailing section

Bonjour Pan merci pour cette vidéo 🎉🎉🎉
Great video. Very helpful. Thats store is comparable to my autozone in baltimore, maryland

So safe to say Walmart here in Canada has better selection. he he he
They do have good selection but their prices are just ridiculous. I save 20-25% on average by buying from Amazon or Walmart or other online retailers.
WoW!
Some can be found on the shelves also aqua gloss, dark fury, and zap it, really hope for a review on them, keep up the great content Pan 👏🏼
Awesome video Pan!!
Black magic tire wet is a great product, was on clearance at my home depot so I cleaned the shelves!
But even better than Ceramic Spray Coating is the newer Graphene Flex Wax which I tested in this video: th-cam.com/video/b5BjDzItlr8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Boo_3sj8TtwVdJJf

Hey pan, u should try the Meguiars air refresher, love those things. Makes my car smell amazing
Pan you should do a detailing products video @ Princess Auto! Great vid as always
Lots of variety to choose from. I wish our Canadian Tires stores had more to pick from.
I made a tour of a Canadian Tire detailing isle here: th-cam.com/video/Yr_5CixJQ3k/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HP3RrPUBO7ZZbgcW
I enjoy your videos at everyday DIY auto supply places. We see good products at fair prices. Prices we can all afford.
Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 135 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
ouah c’est une vraie caverne d’Alibaba !!! Je crois que je vais abandonner les hold-up des banques pour en effectuer un là-bas !!!.
Salut Pan et bonne « dégustation » de tous ces bons produits.
Bernard
it would've helped if you zoomed in on each product to be able to see the labels better
Everything is linked in the video description so no worries. ;)
So many products even within a brand line is so overwhelming anymore.
AutoZone in Mexico has a lot of products from Turtle Wax, Meguiar's, Chemical guys, etc just not all their complete lineups. The good thing is that you can buy on one store and collect at another where they have it OR you can wait for them to bring it to the closest store to you.
Was curious on your best back to black trim restore . I just use a ceramic coating to make it pretty permanent . But still curious on a retail opinion
I have an Advance Auto, an AutoZone and an O'Reilly's in my town ON THE SAME STREET LIKE 2 BLOCKS FROM EACH OTHER.
belle panoplie de produits. En passant, ton frère a fait une super job de cameraman. excellent cadrage, camera move. Très clean! :) Passez une belle fin de semaine!
I use a lot of Walmart stuff. Mostly chemical guys and suds lab. My Cadillac srx still looks brand new and the paint looks like a mirror.
👍👍 nice selection of some decent detailing products. I was surprised you skipped over VRP. I still use that one regularly. Welcome to USA 🇺🇸
GGG 😎 😊
Turtle wax, meguiar's, and Jay Leno's garage are my go to products.
this guy has the best videos I been watching seen since 2018 huge fan !
You are The Goat Pan ❤
Thank you!
Would love to see a video of the new Turtle Wax x Mister Cartoon Tire Coat. I can only find it at O'Reilly's, though.
The car guys plastic restorer is the best!
I wish cedarwood wasnt the only scent of Adams interior autozone orders. The sweet pea is way nicer but never stocked in any brick and mortar.
Random question… watching this, something from 20 or 30 years ago just popped up from my memory. A car care product that was a bottle which had a much smaller bottle which came with it, and in fact the smaller bottle ‘snapped’ into a side recess for storage on the larger one.
Damn, this store has more selection than the ones in my area of NC
Love this real life experience for us weekend warriors...
Love the videos Pan! I was wondering can/should you clay (synthetic or bar) a ceramic coated car during a yearly maintenance cleaning? Also, do you have any videos covering Gyeon Cure? Thanks and I appreciate all the great information you’ve already given me!
Thanks way more than I have ever seen in one store
Great vid Pan! Thanks you!
Waiting to see a review on the Koh-Chemie RWR and how it matches up to P&S and DIY detail rinseless wash

Where I live, which is a little town in Norway, we have something called BilXtra ("bil" means car). They have good selection of Meguiars, Rupes, Turtle Wax, Turtle Wax Pro, Autoglym and Koch Chemie. Pretty cool, don't you think? 🇳🇴😊
Thanks for the budget items. 😊
You are so welcome! Welcome to my channel. You discovered one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam as we surpassed 1 million subscribers and we have over 140 million views! I have been detailing for 27 years and I love to share my knowledge and passion with my viewers.
You found the right channel to help you learn everything about detailing.
That AutoZone is stocked up. My local AutoZone had a bunch of empty slots for car detailing supplies.
I'd definitely like to see you do a video from O'Reilly auto parts
How does a "ceramic wax" work? I recall you mentioning how they dont bond properly in your mistakss detailers make.
I'm surprised not to see more chemical guys products in the video. Our stores are loaded up with CG products.
pan test out some of the black magic products please. thank you.
That is more car detailing products than the 3 AutoZone AND Advanced Auto have... holy cow.
The prices at this one seem lower too.
Great choice of detailing products in this store a bit different to my local Halfords in the uk!!😬🙄👌🏻👍🏻
