Also what I found works aswell, if it shows up but doesn’t connect, go to settings, devices Bluetooth devices, go to the controller where it shows up and is not on, click on it, it should say “press the ps button to use controller” and click on the options button on your other controller that is working and click forget device, then just Bluetooth you controller back onto your ps4 and it should work! Hope this helps!

Fixed my PS4 controller pairing issue! Turns out the short orange cable I was using (came with my ring camera) was only for charging and not data transfer. Had to use a different cable that supports both. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips!

One thing I must say first is whatever you do DO NOT THROW YOUR CONTROLLER OUT THE WINDOW!! IT WILL NOT FIX THE CONTROLLER .. Secondly .. the third method worked and I had no real hope left but this man reinstalled my faith in technology 😅🎉
