Thank you for this. I went out today and bought over $200 in nothing but fresh fruits, vegetables, hemp seeds, etc... I have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Have been vegan for 7 years but not always healthy vegan. I'm over it. I feel like crap. I want energy, I want to feel as good as I did when I first went plant based and was eating good, wholesome food. I am ready to eat raw vegan to achieve this. A perfect tip to keep the zoodles fresh is to place a dry paper towel over them inside the container. The paper towel will soak up the extra water, but still keep them hydrated over the next few days! I do this when I prep want kind of water dense food. 🌱

I drink 1.25 litres of water before & after my evening meal sometimes. I've been going for cooked meals during the evening since it's winter time in my area & the climate isn't full on tropical like it is in far north Queensland. I'm braving a 12°C day today ,this winter is a bit wetter & cooler this year so we're going through the La nina phase, they are forecasting more of that El nino for this coming summer so it's meant to be hot & dry again. I seem to be able to keep my food cravings in check this year,probably because my body has adapted to the fruit diet during the day & I've controlled my peptide hormone release in my digestive system. I don't mean to ramble on but I keep on thinking about all of the tropical plants that I'm going to plant,so I look forward to having my own papaya & mango trees. I can't stop thinking about that !
Raw vegan is more filling that I thought. For me, it took a bit of getting used to suddenly feeling hungry. I don’t have to eat very much to feel full anymore. It’s terrific.

I suggest you drink the water 15-20mins before a meal. Same, after a meal. This helps the body get as many nutrients as possible from your actual meal. Three mins in.🙄
Our livers and colons do a pretty amazing job of detoxing, we don’t need raw food or anything external. Also, if I’m craving something cooked, eating an apple isn’t going that go away 😕

It does dilute your stomach acid, which you want as strong as possible to digest a meal. This diluted, weaker acid can cause acid reflux, bloating, poorer nutrient absorption, etc. However, it’s probably worse to be super dehydrated, so drink up, just wait a bit before you eat a big meal. :)
love the meal prep ideas but i find that she doesnt include much raw protein! It can really help those who are new to raw and plant based meals feel satiated, especially if you prefer savory dishes. Great raw proteins are walnuts pulsed to a crumbled protein consistency season to taste, goes great with so many dishes, extra firm raw tofu, squeeze out the water and marinate for best flavor, crumble or slice,(slice thin and dehydrate for tofu jerky or more chewy meaty texture)firm tofu is also a great scrambled egg replacer especially with a little black salt, and soft tofu for cheesy sauces or raw pizza. Mushrooms are my favorite! so many types, bellas and oysters are really meaty. If you dont like the spongy texture, dehydrate and marinate.
For Smoothie ingrediens I also use glas containers because of the waste. 😉 Thanks for sharing this smoothie recipe - I think it is a good alternative to sweet one!

But it’s still a great option to maximise nutrient absorption, and availability. If you have ibs this diet might not be the best for you, it will put more stress for your digestive system to process everything down.
Jennifer Buckley i typed it all in cronometer including the apple snack and its 1225 calories, not terrible for someone my size trying to lose weight. i personally would add bean sprouts to the tacos for more life. its pretty fatty for my taste so i'd probably swap the zoodles for a large salad with minimal homemade dressing.
Jennifer Buckley how much fat do u think it is. Peanut butter scoop 9 g 1 tb tahini 9 Tb. Cashews 1/4 cup is 18gfor a women they do suggest being at 29 and no lower due to hormones. But I’m not sure how much is in the hemp seeds
Jennifer Buckley holly smokes 66g fat!! I was eating 100g carbs for a while I lost a ton of weight. But now I’m doing the starch solution and I gained a bunch of weight back. Maybe my body is better on low carb but is high fat good for your heart ?

Can you freeze the veggie noddles in the freezer for awhile? It’s such a healthy option and would love to experiment with it.

Flutterby 84 limes are green lemons. In Spanish speaking countries both are referred to as “limones” (lemons).

candice cochran 66g of fat, 34g of protein and 105g of carbs. percentage wise the day is 46% fat, 44% carbs and 10% protein
