I enjoyed last week's video with your fishing buds. Brought back memories of your past shows with Warren on TV Fun Fishing (brought to you by Fisherman's Warehouse). Thanks for progressing with the new technology, video tapes, DVDs and online. Besides supplying a wealth of knowledge, I otherwise wouldn't have, the show is always entertaining. Although sometimes I would cringe when Warren would be teased. I'm glad Denise bites back! Thanks again for all you have done for us (all too often) armchair fishermen.
Awesome report as always Alan. So sad for me for not winning the contest but super happy for the guy that got it. You are blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people. Keep up the good work, Sir!!
@@AlanFong Maryland. I always find it interesting watching fishing in other states. It's amazing what you can learn even though the location and target species may be different.
Thanks Alan, you and your team do a great job. I found your channel a couple years ago, my first thought was what great information to share, I subscribed and have been fallowing ever since and have learned so much. I have to say that (jingle) fishing is fun OMG I have to click fast or that tune will be stuck in my head all day lol. Thanks again to you and your team congratulations on your retirement, views, subscribers and wishing you and your team a very Happy New Year!
Thanks for the report. I golfed today with Mike and David. I can’t get those two to the water. I Almost took a pocket fishing pole my wife got me for Christmas
@@AlanFong I know.. and they are aggressive. They don’t know anything about Lures. I appreciate you responding to my Messages Alan. We will fish together one day. I’ll be ready for the Rod Father. My friend David calls me the fish whisperer. I’m more like the Reel Deal.
Was this in snodgrass? I was wondering what the water clarity is there? Hopefully not chocolate milk. I caught a few bass there on jerk baits a month ago but i don't know how it is now.
When I catch less than ten fish it was a tough day for me. When the rain season is here it gets tough as the rain muddies our delta system. But if you can find clear water you'll have a good day.
Thanks for report! Any places you can recommend around the delta for me to take my kayak for striper? I have a pedal drive, but no trolling motor (yet). I am healthy but not confident to take on any really strong current. I have done well in the DWC but that seems to be slowing down a lot. Thanks in advance!
Liberty Island would be a good start but I'd wait until duck season is over. Sherman Island is also a good bet but it needs to clear up a little which will take a week of good weather. The port of Sac will get real good here pretty soon if we get lots of rain n the Sac river muddies up!
What do you think for Camanchee trout trolling currently?? Near the surface? Maybe Speedy shiners or the like? Maybe a bit faster than usual 1.9-2.5 ?? What would you do Alan??
Speedy shinners would be a great start trolling at 2.5 - 3 mph one at 8ft and one at 20ft. Also try trolling a rapala F7 in orange one of my favorites for Camanche.
Hi Alan and team, I’m still kind of a newbie, but when it rains or the day after rain, is the fishing still good or do you have to wait until a couple days of clear weather? How much does the rain affect the bite in your experience ?
Before a storm fishing is usually very good and during the storm fishing is also good. But the day after with sun shine n north winds it is usually slow fishing. But after a couple days things go back to normal.

Yes and there is 18-20" visability but 48* water temp
Just caught a nice 22" Striper 2 hours ago. Outgoing high tide. Thanks
Nice!!
For Alan Fong to say "fishing was tough", it must have been. What would it have been like for us mere mortals!
