In this video I share why your hair sticks up. Hair sticks up mainly for 2 reasons. Your hair type and hair length. If you hair is very thick and dense, most likely it will stick up on the sides, if you have a cowlick or swirl that may also cause it to stick up. In this video I share some of my hair tips on how to prevent your hair from sticking up.

I’m not Asian, but I got Asian hair. Stands up how it wants to. My hair gets automatically split in the middle like 90’s hairstyle. Gel or such works for a few hours if untouched.

My hair definitely grows in circles..... when I pluck a hair out , I can see it swirling. When I shower n condition, my hair falls down n just looks awesome until it dries in like an hour or less

I'm still starting and only cut my hair once and it had honestly gone so well.
I'm aiming for a two block haircut since it's nice and easy to maintain
@@GreekChickenLegs if you have a hat like a normal hat or a tight beanie put it on for 30/40 minutes that works for me I have hair just like that and I’m Mexican to so try it and see if it works 🙃

I am mediterranian but I have this hair, hell I kinda have asian eyes aswell, maybe mom's got some explaining to do!? Nah but it's been such a pain and I have yet to find a barber in my redneck smalltown to give me a decent haircut, i'm going to look for a specifically asian barber and maybe for once they can give me a good cut.

After chemo, not only did my hair grow in pure white, and straight--it sticks up everywhere. It now has to be almost buzzed on the sides and back. I leave it longer on the top and style it into a small faux hawk. That's about all I can do with it.
Same not the first part but my hair does this too medium length is literally not an option my hair will stick up 4-5 in in the air like an afro and im 100% white

I used to have thick curly hair and it was damaged so I shaved it. Now that it's grown a bit the hair stands up and sticks out and I just have no idea how to handle it. After I shower it's curly but I sleep and when I awake it's everywhere e.e
I had a swirl at the front of my head when i was around 5-10 then it just went away, maybe because i cut my hair really short once

I'm just sick of my hair (usually kept short on top... Never more than 1-1½ inches), sticking up when wet. I tend to brush it forward and you'll always see a bunch of hairs sticking straight up. Even if my hair gets wet from the rain, this happens. With or without product in.

my hairs a mix, it stays down but when I look at my hair outside in the sunlight I have a bunch of little hairs that stick out, usually happens a month or two into growing out my hair when it's short but not buzzcut short

i'm a 23y.o. woman and my entire life i had my hair up to my waist and i got tired of it so i cut it all the way to 4mm (buzzcut) and i loved it, but i miss my long hair so i'm growing it back and oh boi i look stupid...i found out that my hair diesn't lay flat, they're growing outwards to all directions so i'm letting the middle third of my hair grow, while i cut the sides short (because when it all was the same length it looked like a helmet), but it'đ so frustrating because i don't know how to grow the sides without it looking stupid af

I can't do anything about it, I'm over 65 and have very thick, long hair. I cut the front to a fringe and then brushed it back for ages, but lately it is making me fed up and I was beginning to wonder big it is a disease. But this chap has explained it to us.

i have a typical asian hair texture which means i always have to have my sides cut as short as possible. but my barber usually left some kind of length between the middle part and the sides which annoyingly stick out, can i have them cut off? will that somehow affect badly on the general apperance?

good video with great instructions as like all the tuturials you give. can you please make or show some mens ponytail cuts, both short and long or maybe even a modern mullet with ponytail. also maybe a fringe cut on top, with a fading on sides and at the back, but with a medium to longer ponytail similiar to the top kots. simply a clean look with a medium cut on top and sides, for wearing caps.

when i was a kid
my hair stood up like upwards
than i turned 18 and i shifted to new house.
and within in week my hiar started falling . Plz help tried every shit there is on internet

I have a different problem. I have just started cutting my hair very short because of covid. I am using a hair clipper and they can't do longer than 2 inches. 2 inches was much longer so I'm doing 1 1/2 inches on top and upper sides, and half an inch on back and lower sides.
My problem, ALL of the hair on top of my head sticks straight up - while hair on the upper sides the same length lies flat. Mousse causes it to stick straight up and look spiky.
I am 63 and used to have thick hair, but now it's hard to hide the scalp with short hair. It's straight. It has always had a mind of its own.

@@TheSalonGuy my sides are fine. left side grows downwards and right side grows forwards so I can make them flat if i comb them properly. However my back grows outwards so its impossible to flatten it unless i blowdry it and put some gel. Wavy hair btw, almost like the last wig you showed.

Possible for me, I always comb my hair to the right yet I have this type of hair, a big whorl and wavy dark brown / black hair that goes in circles and all kinds of directions, if I try to comb it to the left now it just refuses, hell it's kinda painful tbh
