Excellent video brother. 100% about the asian hair sticking out at the sides. All my life I thought I just had a big head, then got a fade from a new barber and it changed the game for me. For my fellow asian brothers I suggest you to cut the sides every 2-3 weeks Also you cant go super short else the fade wont even be noticeable and since our hair sticks out people will be able to see your scalp Thanks for the video Robin!

I have really straight and fine hair as well and it sticks out so much! My sides are super reminiscent of when you're hair was shorter on the side and after about 3-4 weeks i start sticking out. I can't go more than five weeks in between haircuts. however, my biggest issue is with my hair around my crown. it sticks out so much once its short that my hairdresser has repeatedly recommended that i just keep it longer (although it still sticks up right after i wake up smh). i don't like having my hair long at the back/around my crown, and I was wondering if you had any tips for what i can say/show to my hairdresser that might work for hair that sticks up around the crown. thanks and loved this video!
I just use a hat to flatten it all out but I feel like there are certain trimming/cutting methods to give my hair a certain look when my hair looks clumpy on top of my head.
Best thing for a quick fix if your in a rush. Spray some hair spray on your hand and just gently move it over on the hairs that stick out. Quick, easy and effective

I recently stopped washing my hair every day (was over-drying my hair), but I'm concerned about sweat/product seeping into my pillow and getting onto the skin on my face (don't want to break out!). What do you do about this? Do you just shampoo everyday? Or do you find that product getting onto your pillow isn't really an issue?

Yes my hair looks it best when it’s longer at the sides I love a siccor cut and with thick Asian hair it sticks out when it’s too short or when it’s grows out but been able to live with it haha
My hair was straight on the side before but one time, My haircutter cut it too short and one side stick out, I think it’s because he cut too much of the upper side hair so the upper hair don’t make the lower hair go down

Can you make a vid on what to tell your barber to push back quick like yours it is the style I have with some length in the sides. My biggest problem is that my length are the same in the front and in the middle ( 4/4,5 inches). Is this normal for a quiff hairstyle? The back is like 2 inches
Hey Robin. Medium straight hair. How to deal with the sides of the hair looking like 2 bulbs? Wavy hair always look good on the sides but for me unless I shorten it it looks awful. And I can’t tame it with clays and sprays.
@@owl418 what kinda white guy has hair that sticks parallel to the floor....even with a fresh side part low fade and perming it straight down at home it still sticks out like a sore thumb ....cus that happened to me lol....asian hairs only good for "scene" or those anime hairstyles you see nothing good for anything really
I'm trans-masculine and I've been enjoying my hair all combed over to one side with a fairly short fade/undercut around the back and sides I really shouldn't have been using a woman's hair-styling product - definitely going to try clay or ask my barber what product they use, cause mine ends up stiff and flaky with the feminine stuff :/
