Thank you so much, I happen to be from Tampa. You made it look easy and it was. I have to open up my key fob to remove the blank key, so it would fit into the machine at the key shop, if I wasn’t able to take the key fob apart it wouldn’t have worked. Your video was so simple and I didn’t without having to watch the video a second time. Thank again! Keep posting video, you never know when someone could use the help. I hope my like and comment helps you as much as your video helped me. I paid $16 for a key fob I liked on eBay, had a key shop cut it and I went to the truck to program it. My truck is a 2007 F-150. It worked for me!
Worked great. Just remember that while programming the new key, you’ll also have to reprogram the old keys if you still want them to work. I did three at once

great video, went to Ford they programed the key but didn't set the fob. your video made it easy to follow and to set the fob on the new cut key. the tech at ford didn't know what they were doing I was at the dealership for over an 3 hours and they sent me on my way with the key fob not working. they also stated it was not compatible with the computer. lol
Thanks for your video, really helpful, I used it on my 2002 ford explorer with a slight modification (used the master and slave to configure a third key ) to setup the key for the engine start and it worked.

Excellent Instructions. To program the remotes, I needed to make sure my doors were unlocked first before turning the key 8 times in the ignition.

Just programmed my 3rd and 4th ( backup keys) for my 2008 F-150 XLl --just a key--no FOB.
a locksmith friend cut the keys for me
I had the 2 factory keys-did the off-on-off----off-on--off---insert new key---off-on-off,
and remove--put backin and 'voila'--it starts. Repeat process for next key...MAGIC -THANX

All you need is the Master Key. Take it to Lowes. They copy key & chip and it is programmed matching the Master Key. Works! I know this because my sister loaned me her 2005 Ford Freestar for the weekend--while she is out of town. I was told she only had one key. I thought it would be a nice gesture to get her a second key made. And Lowes hooked me up IN MINUTES using their Replicator machine. Both keys work fine (master & the one they made me) (works for both locks & ignition/driving). Stay away from the Ford dealership. They are sharks. No "Slave key" needed.

I personally love Ford's old key fob. It was cheap, durable, and looked cool. Pretty much every single Ford vehicle across 2 and a half decades had this fob and the key was nice and big and fit well in your hand. I'm not a fan of push button starters or the giant, thick, busy all in one remotes where they have a million buttons that do a million different things.

07 Fusion SE FOB programming: Needs 1 extra step before everything and there are some differences from the video.
1. Unlock all doors! (I had a 2 minute twist-a-thon with the key doing 4, 5 and 8 and nothing happened until I unlocked the doors.)
2. Follow the steps as pointed in the video for the fob programming.
3. The car won't CHIME, instead it cycles the locks from Locked to Unlocked (and explains why it would not work until the doors were unlocked at the start).
4. Each FOB (minus integrated ones with the key added at the start of the video) will cause a cycle of the locks from Locked to Unlocked instead of a CHIME, still means it's programmed.
If you try to add the fob part of an integrated key, your horn will sound for each button, so if you hate your neighbors, go ahead and have fun with all the buttons on that key!
Thanks for the video, a whole week without a working fob (the plastic ring on it broke totally), really hated not having it, almost always using the back door these days.

Great video!! I have a 2013 ford taurus sel with onky one key and i need another. Is it absolutely necessary to use two keys to program the third? Reason being I only have one, and I'm think I can interstate the key, take it out, insert it again take it out, then insert the new key. Or will that not work?

I have 2 fobs, but one master key. Can I take a flip key to Lowe's to cut it, but also put it in the transponder programmer and have the flip work? Can I at least make a "slave key" that way and then program the flip key in the way shown in the video?

Does the trunk get programmed too on the flip open too? Or is there a different procedure for trunk, I'm about to order one of those flip open keys.
I only have one master key and one remote starter the master key does not work any more after my serpentine belt fail so I can just start the truck with my remote starter then put the key and drive I got 08 Ford f350 can some one help my with that thank you very much
Hey I’m in Tampa as well I just purchased an eBay a key fob different from the one in this video although I programmed a few keys to my car in the past and I have both OEMs I’m trying to program this one it just doesn’t happen to be working the fob part does however so I can unlock lock do the trunk panic it’s just After getting the Chi Chi in programming out the way I know how in the way you have it just won’t start the car

Adter programming the fobs, you didnt show if the truck release button worked also. Did it only program the door locks? Or did it also program the truck release button?
Hi I have a new key fob for my 56 focus. I have programed as per the hand book. It works fine to lock and unlock my car but does not de activate the cars the engine immobiliser. Any suggestions. Thanks Mike

Question , I have an integrated key with 4 buttons for my Lincoln. I also have a factory remote starter that works with an additional appendage remote. I want to know is there a way to program my integrated key to remote start my car possibly by pressing a combination of buttons or pressing one button multiple times?

Can I program a key fob to a manual central locking fiesta? I've got a 3 door fiesta with manual central locking and I only had 1 key which isn't a fob. But my car does have manual central lock. Can I just program a Remote central locking fob to it?

Hi they keys you ordered do you need to take them to a key duplicate place and have them make exact copy? Or they work fit already? My key for my escape broke. And got mine duplicated but i dont think there is a chip inside it so i need to find a new one. Thanks

Sorry guys, I had the same question "buggyalstare1971" asked 3 months ago. Nobody has answered yet. What happens if you only have ONE original key, and not TWO? Can you use the same key twice, then try your new unprogrammed key? I am really impressed you can program the chip inside the key to start the engine, without using a costly key programmer at all. You will need TWO factory OEM keys. If only one factory key - have to go to Ford dealer. Sorry !
I am an automotive locksmith. Most automotive locksmiths can program these keys for all Ford vehicles. This includes originating a new key - even if you have no key whatsoever. *You do not need to go to the dealer. Your local automotive locksmith will save you lots of money AND usually go to you at your car so that it does not have to be towed to the dealer.
no,the transponder in the 2nd key has to be in close proximity for the 3rd key to be programmed
