I bought this adventure motor bike R1200GS. I had lots of hesitations and dilemmas whether it is the right bike or not. I always dreamed of BMW. It is strong, powerful and robust bike. The milage is about 29 miles. It is simple and easy to ride. It doesn't have so much electronic staff like the modern ones. If you are planning to buy motor bike. Do not buy the new ones unless you have lots of cash. The market is full quality bikes. Get one and enjoy the life with less spending money.

Greetings from Utah. Just got a 2005 with 43000 km,thats 27000 miles here in US. it's mint and I love it. sounds better and less electronics than the new ones. I can fix and do the valve adjustments myself. Thanks for sharing your video! cheers

In 2009, it was widely proclaimed to be the BEST BIKE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!! Newer generations are more complicated and expensive, but not really "better" in terms of riding around on a motorcycle. I love my 2008 GSA and won't be trading it in for a newer bike.

I do agree with you that they are the best bike , very simple and easy to maintain and look after. The new ones are pretty much more complicated and difficult to maintain and costing the hell a lot of money. OLD IS GOLD
