THANKS for the quiet video. The sound of the bike, the water...PERFECT. No need for music. No words necessary, you captured the essence of the trip perfectly.
Thanks. It was a fun and challenging one to make
😂trying not interrupt your own silence 👍👍
Totally agree...thanks for saving me the typing!
100%
That's why I subscribed!
Remember, you can do this just as well on an old 250 Enduro and Army Surplus camping gear. Don't think you have to wait until you can afford this great equipment. Back in the day on a beaten up Yamaha 175 Enduro camped everywhere.
Absolutely. You can camp off a dirt bike, “adv bike”, street bike or a moped doesn’t matter just get out and have a good time.
i was thinking the same, those roads looked great for my Rebel 500.
Why doesn't TH-cam recommend something this peaceful in the feed? It recommends chaotic stuff... rather than peaceful things like this one. No music, no words, just natural sounds... So perfectly done.
You sure make solo camping look so easy. Years of practice I'm guessing. Learning a great deal from your videos. Much appreciated! Excellent camera views. Very cinematic. Well done, thank you for creating this for us!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for that inspirational video! Man, when you said "Great camp food" and then you pull out that freeze dried meal I thought this guy has no idea what great camp food is. Then you pulled out the real meal. Excellent campout and what a great spot!
Haha yeah the freeze dried was just the quick lunch. The deer back strap and roasted potatoes were the main course 👍🏻
When BAM releases a solo motocamp video, it's always a good day! Thanks for bringing us along man. Your solo camp with the Avery train museum is still one of my all time favorites buddy! Gearing up for some Idaho single track now!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the kind words
I appreciate the extra time and effort it took shooting this so beautifully. Worth it. Keep them coming.
Thanks. It was the hardest video I’ve shot to date
Live in such an amazing place. Great example of why it’s just a good idea to shut up and be in the moment. Your camera angles again were on point. Well done sir 🙏🙏
Thanks, aren’t your supposed to be in the backcountry right now? 😂
Nice to see a good example of someone cooking a meal, rather than making 1 Ramen packet and calling it dinner.
This is maybe one of the best videos i saw on youtube . I love motorcycles, love cooking and love camping/survival , and you put it all in one video . Great !!
Greetings from Croatia👊
Great AMSR video!! So calming. Thank you!!🫢😎
You’re welcome 😊
Amazing solo camping ,scenery and very relaxing to watch the video!
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
Takes a lot of time, passion, knowledge and dedication to shoot and edit such a video. Thank you very much for doing it for all of us. Amazing……
Sweet! You got some nice gear there. Also some great camera footage.
The latrine run at the end was the best 😋
Perfect just Perfect. Nothing better than getting away by oneself and just hanging out out with Mother Nature. Especially with a good bike.
I don’t care what anybody says. The big GS adventure is still KING. And I don’t even have one
Hi from the UK, an awesome video so thanks for sharing and living the dream. The forests and tracks you have are just mind blowing and beautiful to watch👌
BAM 💥
Enjoyed this one a lot.
What great spot. Hard not to want to just set up and stay permanently.
You got that right! Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
“Escape the Noise” great title for a nice relaxing creekside camp out. Thanks for that great video. Nice to see you out enjoying your new ride. It’s a great bike for rides like that.
My pleasure
I’ve been doing this for over 45 years, I’m 74 now. I just started taking fishing gear with me.
It’s always nice to have it. It doesn’t take up much room and it’s even better when you can catch ‘em
Great relaxing clip. Good to see you out on the big machine.
It’s a fun one for sure. Thanks
Excellent ride, camera and drone work, and campsite 👍
Thanks 👍
This is a good one. It must have taken quite a bit of extra setup. Thanks for taking us along the GSA sounds great.
Yes it was! 😄
What a great campsite, I need that small tent lamp, very nice Vidiography and when nature calls too funny 😂 Thanks for sharing
The ASMR solo MC camp genre is a crowded place, but you did a really good job with your first video of this style.
Thank you and thanks for watching
Always a treat to catch one of your videos. Love the travel videos with camping.
Awesome, thank you!
Really enjoyed this type of video. I need to start taking a fishing rod with me!
if i could find a spot like that(lots of black sand/gravel in that river)i would do a little metal detecting.
Wow! Great video work and cinematography!! Thanks for taking the time to produce and share. A buddy just turned me onto your channel, same bike and much of the same camp setup. Looking forward to checking out your channel, vids and following your adventures ...cheers!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
amazing use of the drone, pushing those features, nice.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
What drone do you use? B
Great video! Reminds me of japanese camping videos, which i love!
Best video I've seen ever on TH-cam. Well done Kyle. Wonderful camera work for a solo videographer. Congratulations.
Wow, thanks! That’s great feedback
Some of your best work to date thanks Kyle. Cinematography is going next level.....keep em coming😊
Much appreciated! This one really challenged me 👍🏻
Brother, thank you for sharing this with us. The motocamping adventure that we all strive for.
Watched a few of your videos already, but this made me a follower.
Now, I gotta make that happen for myself.
Thanks again for the inspiration.
I appreciate that! Go out and get it 👍🏻
Awesome video! To quote Marjolein Bastin, "We give to nature with our hands, enjoy her beauty with our eyes, and discover her peace in our hearts."
Absolutely loved this video!!
Thank you!!
Love this kind of videos ✌🏼
Awesome video, perfect fix after a day in the office. And thank you for not taking us along on the walk of shame (aka trowel duty), lol. Do you mind sharing where you were, or what river you're on there? Always amazed at Idaho and it's amazing rivers - you all are blessed.
This was just over the border in Montana. Off of Fish Creek just easy of Alberton MT
You owned those woods like an Army Ranger!🤘💪
Very well done! I miss the beauty and solitude of the outdoors in Montana. Sure makes me homesick.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video man, really! I wanna say thank you for the absolute genius idea of putting the Nomax tank bag as a tail bag, I did it on my Norden and I can actually use the thing now instead of just having it off the bike since I hated it so much on my tank!
Glad I could help!
That was very cool, loved it, the perfect way to relax! 👏😀👍
Thank you very much!
Nice video.
You take in so much more when there is only the sounds the rider is hearing.
Cheers from Australia...
Thanks 👍 glad you liked it
NICELY done, sir! The only thing I would've added to that experience is Scotch and a cigar after dinner!
You may have noticed my flask that Jefferson bourbon, not much of a cigar person though
@@backcountryadvmoto cigars are my travel vice...If I could make a video that encapsulates all of my favorite things about a motorcycle trip, I couldn't have done better than this video right here.
Incredibly done! Thank you, so refreshing
You're so welcome!
That was the best video on moto camping i have ever witnessed. at first i was thinking something else. That was excellent! just you, the sound of being out in the wild. The potty part came on just after i was thinking what if. Perfect!! just can't say enough good things. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
This is my FAVORITE video. Everything is so peaceful. I am doing my first backpacking trip, this gave me comfort and insight. I am excited now. Thank you.
Have fun!
@@backcountryadvmoto thank you 😊
Love the video and the channel brother. The new bike looks BA. Would you be willing to do a video on 2A carry options while riding? It's something that I don't see much content on, but carrying into the Backcountry and remote areas is absolutely necessary. However, doing so while riding, especially off road can be a bit of a challenge in my experience. Curious if you have any insight on the topic...Cheers!
Great suggestion!
Aweaome video, great filming, great sound and editing. Its good to see that a video can work very well without talking or music!
Greets Christian
Maybe the best TH-cam video I’ve seen in a bit…..peaceful
Thank you 🙏🏻
This is completely awesome dude 🤘🏻🤘🏻. Excellent Moto camp video. Inspiration to get out there and do it myself soon!! Stay well and keep the great rides and vids coming!!
Thank you. Get out there man !
The part where he methodically saws up someone's carefully engineered see-saw was surreal.
Hahaha when you leave a campsite any wood left behind is fair game. There isn’t much down fall here and I’m not going to cut down a tree! 😂
Almost as Perfect as those Veterans bdr ride videos you do. Can't remember the name of them but huge respect for you and whoever the team is that puts all the work into making that happen for all those deserving.
Safe travels in your journey gentleman.
Thanks for watching 👍🏻
I've watched basically all videos and this one is probably one of the best...thanks allot for sharing your experience.
Wow, thanks!
Tack!
Thank you!
That drone footage is impressive. And that quiet spot seems like heaven.
It really is!
Awesome set up thx for the cool video
Glad you liked it
Felt as if I was there, chilling along with you man! Great video. Thanks for inspiring me to do this!
So glad you enjoyed it!
A great episode, for sure. What a gorgeous area!
It was!
@@backcountryadvmoto not that I'll probably ever make it over there (I'm in north central Alabama), where was that campsite? If you don't mind divulging.
Man what a beauty camp spot! I'm jealous of the back strap I haven't got a deer in 3 years :(
Nice vid
Wow, great camera work ! Nicely put together.
I love how your style has evolved over the years. I watched some of your older stuff a few years back & just didn't care for it all that much. Hard to put my finger on it but it was almost like you were trying too hard to be someone or something besides yourself. You've really come a long way putting out stuff like this. Thanks for all the time & effort you put into refining your craft. Subscribed. Cheers my friend!
Thanks so much for your honesty Bill. Your words and feedback mean a lot. Making videos to share with others has an interesting psychology about it. When you first start out not only are you trying to figure out what “works” both with your equipment but also what is entertaining. You are also trying to figure out the awkwardness of talking to a camera and to people you may never meet. I think the byproduct of this is that it takes time to get comfortable with just being yourself and not worry about what others are thinking of you.
I think you unknowingly followed the advice I heard a while back. When yer channel is brand new just start making videos. With some honest hard work & diligence your content quality & style will naturally evolve over time for the better. Anyway, can't wait to get into it & revisit your channel. Good stuff man.
Love the vid and only 4 mins in! Great shots, well thought out, and sound quality is excellent. So visceral
Much appreciated!
WELL DONE! What a great video, well thought out and produced. This is ART! I loved it.😀
This is why I am looking forward to my new 890r. After 11years active duty and 23 as a LEO this is what my retirement will be (I just retired). Thanks for the videos! This is my favorite by far
Congrats on the retirement! I did 13 years army, and almost 10 years as an LEO👍🏻
Like, Like and super like. TH-cam should have a super like button Love this. Best vlog I've ever seen. No rubbish music, no talking trash. Just the wind, engine noise and nature (as the title suggests. Fantastic. Love your content, ride safe sir. ✌👍👌
Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
Gorgeous country and a great motocamping vid. Thanx.
Glad you enjoyed it
Quelle pure merveille que d’entendre la nature ! Trop génial…
have you tried rubbing some wax on the areas on the boot where the plastic pieces comes into contact with the shoe fabric? it helps reduce the squeak haha
Great video! Interesting to see we have very similar lightweight camp gear, though the brands differ a little.
That said, most viewers don’t realize the huge amount of extra work that goes into such an apparently “simple” video, but I do, and it is appreciated. I have to say you left out the tick-picking footage (they are horrible in my neck of the woods this year and pretty much scuttled my last moto-camp).
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Amazing views mate, love your channel.
Thanks. Glad you liked to
Great video!! Great camera shots....
I've come back on the channel after a year and I must say that your film making and editing skills have gone very high. Amazing job. I think one of your best works on the channel. I'm so happy for you that you bought the mighty GS. Keep rocking, bro!!! 😊
Welcome back! and thanks so much. More coming !!
Thanks for the great footage. We have a very similar setup except I usually prefer a hammock. My 2020GSA is also the same color, looks very different with the factory black aluminum set mine came with.
What a great effort. Only the people who do the filming and montage can evaluate or appreciate this great effort
Thanks, yes, a lot of work goes in to this type of video.
Another really good vid. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
amazingly well put together video. Thank you
Much appreciated!
It's a beautiful and so relaxing place. I love camping too. Watching from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Love this one, thanks for your dedication, much appreciated!
Man those drone shots so close to the trees got me freaked out!
It’s pretty incredibly 👍🏻
Perfect!!! I’m heading out to ride some ORBDR and camp tomorrow!! Stoked!!
🏍🤙🍻
Have fun!
Thanx!!! Your “morning duty” clip was a chuckle and reminded me to pack my “dude wipes”!!!
Thank you 😂🤣💩
I am stealing the dry pad idea for removing boots and riding gear! Thank you for the post. I love the format!
Please do! Thanks for watching
Wow you really went all out on this one. Appreciate all the different shots. Especially those drive by shots. I know all too well how much time it takes just for 5 seconds of filming 😂
Lol, a lot of people don’t know how much work these types of videos are. Still fun though
@@backcountryadvmoto yep exactly. Glad you brought your cinematic a game to this video. A lot of moto camping channels are very much lacking in this department. It’s difficult to watch 25 minutes of 1st POV style vids.
great video mate. love the bike.
Thanks 👍
Great great video! Looks like you are set up just right!
Thanks! 👍
Niiiice vid!!!!!
I’m so much of a sucker for color combinations. Excellent taste!
Thank you. Glad you liked it
Great episode Kyle!
Thank you.
I bet that was a good night's sleep!
Yea it was
Thank for such nice video Man i suscribe
Thanks and welcome! More like this coming in a few months when the weather improves
Epic Film!!! Loved it, thank you!
nice job on the video work for this episode - really exploring those angles. great video
Thanks Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. Love the vibe. I am a fan of the "silent video's" 😊
Great video, love the different shots and quiet(dem boots tho lol). Thanks for all the videos, cheers!
Haha I know! Sidi boots are so squeeky
Great footage super fun
Thanks 👍
Different | Silent | Excellent Videography | Thanks for Sharing
Your welcome. Glad you enjoyed it
24 minutes felt like meditation
Dang awesome camp site by the river. Really enjoy your videos especially when you get some fishing in
A fine, fine film Kyle. Thank you.
Thank you 👍🏻
I am in Hayden, ID. Liked watching this video. I just recently purchased a 23 KTM 890 ADV-R. I am looking for ADV riders in the area and definitely glad I found your channel. Keep up the great work, maybe I can meet up with you sometime for a ride.
Sounds like we need to! I also own Best Life CDA, at 6th and Sherman. Stop in and say hi!
@@backcountryadvmoto will definitely do that
Pretty awesome video. Very inspiring. Thanks!
Outstanding video. You’ve got one of the better channels out there. Have to admit though, I’m still not hip on those 360 cameras but I am warming up to them. Great drone footage. Oh and love my Mosko Moto paniers for my KLR
