    Actually she can sue the mistress, as well, for the money that was gifted to her without OP's consent.
    Just look up the case of Rochelle Sterling vs V. Stiviano. Rochelle sued and won her court case against Stiviano, and Stiviano had to pay back well over $2.6 million from the gifts that Donald Sterling had given to her, while they were in a full blown affair.

    • @TiffWaffles
      @TiffWaffles 2 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Yeah, she could and should do this. Especially since it was made clear that the mistress knew that the man was married. This wasn't the case of a woman looking for a relationship and being lied to by her partner who had a secret life. This was a woman who knew she was seeing a man who was married.

    • @Z.O.1991
      @Z.O.1991 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TiffWaffles I hate being negative, but I highly doubt she won't do anything to the mistress, and give her husband a slap on the wrist, and for now on she will keep an eye on her finances to make sure he won't take a certain amount of money out. She doesn't really have a spine unless the redditors give her a wake up call, and she officially divorce him, and forbids him from entering into her account.

    OP in the first story should have put her foot down the moment that her husband said that he was 'frightened' to start over from scratch and work for somebody else. He was a bum and should have been called out for it and told to find a job or the relationship was over. OP's not to blame for any of this, but I hope that she's learned her lesson to stop being an enabler. Husband would have been forced to find a job so that we could contribute equally in our finances if he was my partner. No way would I support him unless he was sick or injured to the point that he couldn't work.

    • @Ambidexter143

  • @kenarbes

    1st story, lawyer up like OP said. Then, get an itemized list of what was bought on those credit cards to use in court to sue the mistress. Garnish the mistress's wages to get that money back. As for the money that was in the bank account, she might never get that money back, but once soon-to-be ex hubby is forced to get a job, sue him for half the amount (if it's a state or country where all assets are divided upon divorce) and have his wages garnished.

    1: OP should sue the hell out of the mistress too, maybe get back some of what was given to her. Hopefully she had her credit cards canceled and removed that cheater from her account as soon as she left the restaurant. It wouldn’t surprise me if he went and drained the account when he saw she wasn’t going to just forgive him. He seems like the kind of guy that would take as much as he could, while he could.
    2: WTH? The aunt was lucky to walk out of there on her own power. If anyone did that to one of the kids in my family, the rest of us would be beating the attacker with whatever was in reach. Also, OP should have pressed charges. There is something seriously wrong with the aunt, and maybe those charges would have kept her away from children and other vulnerable people. I always groan when someone declines to press charges, because why would you not?

    It behooves me how every time a person cheats, the first thing that they say is that they're lonely. If you can't stand your own company that you can't take being alone, then you need to seek therapy for that. You would never be satisfied the moment your partner has to be away. This goes both ways. Also, how selfish can you be if at first you can be away for days on end and expect your partner to support you but if and/or when the tables turn, you can't pay it forward and support your partner. Keep in mind, she never stopped supporting him. She supported him through the success of his business, the trials and tribulations, and ultimately the demise of his business. She supported him through his mental and emotional struggles of no longer having his business and even when he felt that he was too good to go back to working for someone else by financially leading the family. He still kicked her in the teeth. He's selfish in the most possible way. I hope she can get him to pay out the nose. Flingy ain't gonna stay because he just lost his cash cow.

    Ok so I’m not by any means rich but I did everything I could to support my much older husband, his grown up son, and that sons teen daughter. I loved them all, often denying myself stuff so I could get them stuff that would make them happy - I also did all the cooking, took care of all animals, cleaned, did laundry... In return I was abused emotionally and verbally by all three and became like a ghost in my own house. My ‘husband’ kept getting more and more nasty and violent until at last I broke completely. Luckily my mom was there and helped me get away from the toxic situation, lol but now I’m terrified of men. I think that the good ones of us (male and female) end up falling prey to narcissistic users and then afterward we are too afraid to give someone else a chance and that’s why so many kind people end up alone!

For anyone that says this when they cheat that the person there with made them feel like a man/woman no they make you feel like a kid doing something you know you shouldn't but still do it because its fun then later you regret it when it fucks with the good thing you already had.

    Story one: His plan is so obvious, because it's something that he almost got away with. Subtlety is only necessary when the other person is paying attention. OP was so oblivious to her life, that he had almost bled her dry. I want to be more sympathetic, but seriously, how hands off is she? "Huh, why is there a for sale sign on my lawn?" Like, the husband is bad, obviously, but he wasn't being subtle about most things.

    1st story
    I would have called the police & have him arrested for grand theft & her for her part in the the financial robbery & then found a lawyer to sue for my money back & divorce on the grounds of adultery as well as sue her for her part in the thefts & damages for her part in the adultery.
    The reason I would do it that way would be to prevent either of them of secreting away any of the money left over &/or hiding/selling/destroying any or all of the items that had been bought with the money that OP’s husband had stolen from her. Since both of them wouldn’t be able to call anyone other than to get a lawyer, that would give the police time enough to get a warrant to seize all of the items that had been purchased illegally in her possession as well as make things more difficult to get bailed out in time to make everything disappear in one way or another. I’m fairly certain that he wouldn’t have any way to get bailed out unless she was willing to help him … although I’m pretty sure that she would turn on him faster than blinking her eyes 3 times just to minimize as much damage as she could to get away with “scot free”. It wouldn’t take her long to replace him as her “sugar daddy” as she would only have to go back to the place she snared him in the first place … more than likely a bar or a dating service.
    2nd story
    I suspect that the granddaughter will recover her health as well as the embarrassment of having the guests seeing her in her state of almost indecent exposure but the EM did not. There would have been far more damage done to EM than what little was told at the end of that story than, safe to say, would take more than a few minutes to report. Child abuse, child neglect, divorce, loss of position in the family, &, worst of all, being cast out of all of her supporters/friends & everyone else’s lives. She would have nothing left to support her previous lifestyle unless she is a “trust fund baby” & she would have to start all over again. Unfortunately for her, there wouldn’t be anywhere that she could go in “polite society” where her “good name” would be accepted. No one in good standing would want to be known as having anything to do with her every again no matter where she went in the world. If she was lucky, EM could get enough to live on long enough to get a job in the food services & a small place of her own to live in if she isn’t a “trust fund” baby. It will be a “shame” that her perfectly dressed body & her long, manicured hands & nails had to be in her distant past life & long gone into memory … unless she lucks out & gets a “nice” job as a street walker without a “pimp” to take most of her “well earned money” &/or gets her hooked on drugs until she isn’t worth keeping anymore. After that … I will leave that to your imagination.

    Story 1 - Nuclear revenge and no contact. I'd sue the mistress for compensation money just to be an extra b*tch even if I were as well off as op. I'd make sure to leave my ex without two pennies to rub together so his gold digger girlfriend can leave him. Let's see how much of a man he feels like at that point.
    Story 2 - Awh. Well at least the kid wasn't as bad as he seemed in the beginning.

    Where did you find the footage around 2:44 mark? Is that ice/snow or salt? I want to know more about that place. It's so cool looking! So, his ego would allow him to sit around like a lump all day while his wife did ALL the work but wouldn't allow him to get a job to help support his wife? I guess he didn't consider her to be important. Now, some if it could have been depression, but he was refusing to get any help or even contribute. Red flags right there. Wow. Gaslighting 101. Trying to blame her for his issues. Get proof of everything. Get a lawyer. Divorce his ass. I wonder if she lives in an at-fault or no-fault divorce state. She could leave him with nothing for breaking the vows and stealing her $ if its the former. She may not have to sue if she can get it in the divorce declarations that he owes her money back bc he took it without permission. Technically, half of what she earned was his but he took more than half. She should be able to get back what was over that and he should get nothing in the divorce. If she sues him before the divorce then she is on the hook for some of that $. If she sues him afterward it would be dismissed as it should be handled in the divorce. He should have to repay at least some of the $ as part of the settlement and he should not get a dime from her afterward. Now, she can sue the mistress for alienation of affection.
    Story 2: At 16, if a kid (family or not) had walked in and started trying to touch my stuff, his ass would have been out that door with the door slammed and locked in his face in half a second. If an adult had burst into my room and pulled the "young lady put some clothes on" thing I would have said "Old lady, get the fuck out of my room!" and I would have shoved her out and slammed the door. I had a temper at that age. Now, I get OP was sick and probably couldn't fight back, but I would have throat punched anyone who put their hands on me like that when I was that age. EM would have been on the floor. Hell, when I was about 5 or 6 a neighbor came into my yard to try to physically assault me. I stomped on her foot and kicked her in the shin. At least the kid felt bad about lying and what happened and apologized to her. I know kids that would have laughed about it and found it funny. So, seems like the kid didn't foresee what would happen if he lied and wasn't a total sociopath. If I were the parents/grandparents I would have pressed charges on that woman for battery of a minor and destruction of property. Would have made her pay for the carpet cleaning and art supply replacement.

    Op I understand being in love standing by your partner and trusting them, but trusting is bigger than love, you have to pay attention to red flags, get some help and heal yourself, take your time before getting into another relationship, wait and heal first,

    Not sure where you live but in the US I don't think you have much options even adultery only gets you know maybe 25% depending on the state and unfortunately for you you're married so it doesn't matter if you're the only one working it's still marital moneyI I don't understand why when you were listening to the conversation with him his mistress where she was saying you got the money right and can't wait to go get my test for her when you said to her and you know you can forget about that that's not going to happen the first words out of your mouth to your man because you're in that conversation hey you wait throw them out and then don't realize that he's going to have to use it because he doesn't have any money you should have already had that money in your hand but she didn't ask for it so I don't know how you're going to sue him for it when you never even ask for it I mean I'm on your side I mean this guy is a loser and you need to leave him

    I'm finding it very hard to feel sorry for her, since even someone as naive and stupid as me should have seen it coming. Why would he look for a job when a couple of blatant lies and phony promises was enough to keep the cash flowing. the only thing I'm surprised by is that he didn't just move her into the house telling wifey that she was helping him look for work.
    Honey, the money is long gone. Even if you can get Tyffani (or whatever her stripper name is) to sell all of the "gifts" you husband gave, you would only get pennies on the dollar. And since these funds were stolen from a joint account, there's a good chance that you're just screwed. Even if you should somehow win the lawsuit, collecting is something else entirely. He'll just remain unemployed and even if he can con some other woman into being his sugar mommy, he'll claim to have no money for the rest of his life.

      Hopefully with a good lawyer she will not have to pay any spousal support, since he has very marketable skills and is quite young. But unless it is a mutual agreement that one of you will be a stay at home spouse, you shouldn't be financially supporting a partner indefinitely, because, male or female, you will be on the hook for spousal support (alimony).
