    Well I don't understand why they don't train the police better then the one's that was sent to denny's in the first place. But no one should have to put up with someone else telling you what you can and can't give to your child. If someone told me that I couldn't have something that I wanted I would just tell them to mind their own business and to leave me alone. I am glad you got to sue the police department they really need to be put in their place sometime's

      Police totally wrong but at the end of the day they too are human. If you see an old lady screaming on the ground vs standing lady there can be assumptions made unless person is type who keeps calm and takes in whole situation before arriving at conclusion in their head in time to react appropriately. This is skill not everyone has and def not everyone that applies to be a police officer has.

    Sunday morning is the busiest time to eat at Denny's. Most customers understand this and are patient.
    A few weeks ago, I was seated near a K@ren and her husband and she complained the entire time I was there. They got their food and the husband started eating. The lady started in complaining. "It took a half hour, and the food is cold! I going to tell the waitress when she gets back!" K@ren lit into her, whining about everything. The waitress apologized and said, "I'll take care of it." But K@ren was like a puppy with a bone. She was going to let the waitress walk away only after she was done raging. Every time the waitress came near the table, she intercepted her, complaining. She asked for a manager. Between the times when the waitress was away, K@ren whined to her husband. Her husband just sat there, slumped over his food, eating. When the manager came over, she started berating everybody and everything. The manager personally delivered her food, piping hot. Here comes the kicker: She demanded that not only should her meal be free, but her husband's meal, too. I never ate so fast in my life. I just wanted to get away from her before I said something I'd regret. On the way out, I gave the waitress a large tip and told her that she had the patience of a saint. I bet this lady pulls this routine at every restaurant she goes to.

      I hear you on this one. I know a friends husband does this regularly. I stopped meeting them for lunch or dinner because of it. The last time I was with them he made the waitress cry. I stood up told him he was a poor excuse for a human being and that I would never again see them as a couple. Told my friend that I would meet her if she wanted but under no circumstance would I be seen out in public with that POS. Imagine making a complete stranger cry. I paid for my meal, gave her a huge tip and told the manager to take care of her, she was the most patient, sainted waitress I have had the privilage to have served me.

    So I am going to call BS on this one. I was all in until the last part. The night the detective leaves from taking a statement the lawyer has all this news? Karen would not have been arrested that fast after the statement and even if she was there is now was she would have been fines that quickly. Not until after the court date. Definitely not overnight. And also the police office would not have been fired that quick and would have been suspended pending the investigation. That happened to fast and ruined the story for me.

    • @rolandhansen812
      @rolandhansen812 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm with you on this. After hearing the final update, I think it's all BS. I guess stuff like this does happen occasionally but this one just doesn't ring true. I doubt the police officer would have been fired at all for handcuffing and placing a suspect in the squad car while interviewing the witnesses. AT worst he probably would have been put on administrative duty while the incident was investigated. A settlement offer may have been made for the $20K the lawyer originally suggested but the city certainly isn't going to offer nearly $3 million without dragging it out in court for years and years. I would think it would be a long shot for OP to win the case based on what was described. She was detained after being accused of assault on an elderly woman and released after the evidence showed she did nothing wrong.

      @@andrews3156 Agreed. And not only that, but I seriously doubt any police department facing this kind of lawsuit would ever send a detective to the plaintiffs house to get a statement. Their own team of lawyers would have made it clear that any meeting between the police department and OP without both lawyers there would not only look inappropriate, but would open rhe door for further grievances regarding the lawsuit. It would look like serious harassment for the plaintiff to be interrogated alone in her home, without her lawyer, and the interrogation being done by one of the people directly involved in the complaint. Let's not forget one little detail that was left out of this "story" at the end, and that is that Mr. Lawyer got, at bare minimum. 1/3 of that settlement, which means, again at best, she (supposedly) ended up with 1.7 mil. Then, again supposedly, bought an $800k beach house. Do you have any idea what property tax would be every year on that? Let's just say that it wouldn't be too many years before she was broke again as she's apparently not very good with money if she blew that much right up front on a "beach house". Frankly, I believe someone stayed up nights dreaming this fairytale up.

      Of course it is a fake story...and the way it is in multiple updates is like a "choose your own adventure." Have you ever met a 20 year old single mother that types like that?... the vernacular is all wrong.
      The formatting of the story is all messed up too..it is at least a college creative writing class author lol.

    Maybe spend some of that money on a PI to investigate if it will be worth also suing the Karen and her ahole husband who just stood by allowing it all. Not so much for the money, but the sweet justice. After all, the current case is for lying to the cops, not for what she did to OP. Be a shame to let her get away with that :)

    • @benwagner5089
      @benwagner5089 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      She already collected 2.6 million and is now in a different state; trying to do a lawsuit from another state during Covid would be a long arduous process. She already got extremely lucky that the drone guy caught it on video.
      Besides, what if the old Karen doesn't have a huge amount of money saved up, or if she dies in the meantime? All the time, effort, and money she invested would be for little/nothing. She should just concentrate on not blowing the settlement, invest wisely, get a good education since she's only 20, etc. Lottery winners regularly blow through the entire amount in a few years.

    • @mpmansell
      @mpmansell 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@benwagner5089 blah. Blah. Blah. You completely miss the point. It doesn't matter at all if the Karen has the money, or not. It is making her suffer for the fear and abuse caused by her sick and evil behaviour. Pieces of excrement like her ruin people's lives deliberately and I for one would happily see this sick and evil person suffer at least as much as OP had her actions lead to incarceration and loss of her child.

  • @scottboa2738

    I'm going to assume that, because of the title "Racist Karen" that OP is black. From the way police manhandled OP and her daughter within seconds of arriving on scene, and without even getting more details of events, it appears that they are racist as well. They settled quickly became they could be criminally charged for their racist actions; even brought before a human rights commission. They obviously didn't want the public to find out.

    This story has so many loopholes I seriously doubt it's real. First, who would even chase a Karen who is already out the door when the restaurant manager already handled it. How can a 70 to 80 year old lady on a walker slam herself on the ground without getting seriously hurt and still shout accusations against OP? Possible maybe but I find it hard to imagine having seen frail women that age. Why was a detective called to the scene? That's not their job. There was no active investigation. Shouldn't a police "supervisor" like a captain been called? Also, how did goole guy find her address? Did he follow her car? And the lawyer, OP didn't explain how she was going to pay them. Lawyers don't usually give free advice. Another, the police who manhandled her, OP said that officer was fired. How many high profile cases do we know that got the police immediately fired without public pressure. I don't think this is a high profile one, Op didn't mention whether the media got involved, so the worse would have been a suspension.There are just too many coincidences in this story that just don't add up.

      I agree with most of what you said. Lawyers sometimes give free consultation.also she was prescreened by the drone operator so that could be another factor. But the cop getting fired from the encounter sounds like b.s as does getting 3 million dollars for unlawful detainment/ arrest sounds too far fetched for me
