My Sojourn was a different breed...
I get that Baptiste is really strong and has seen use in pro play, but imo he has the highest skill ceiling of all support heroes, even above Ana. You need the gamesense, the aim, the fast reflexes, and watching your teammates' HP. I'm glad there's other choices than Baptiste that fits me better, but for those who walked this path, I salute you. Maybe I'll focus him someday ^^

Just hit plat 1 with reaper after struggling in diamond 1 and getting sent down to silver 5 in a month after season 4 dropped. Been in plat 1 for all of season 5. Feeling good. I get top 500 on my team and sometimes the enemy team but I still lose. Its stupid. I'm not bad at the game. I swear to God I'm not but the matchmaking keeps dry fucking me
I was using Zenyatta until I unlocked Bap and now I'm not changing back. I love that you can drop so much damage and healing at the same time and his kit is so good for surviving.
He is super strong and consistent.
I was a Reaper main until I started playing Baptiste yesterday and now am Bronze Level 1. Super fun to play and loved seeing this gameplay!

I was so confused I rewatched like 4 times trying to understand what you meant and then I saw that Lucio stole the grenade, which probably was the breakpoint in that DVa de-meching or not with Immo 💀💀
@@watashinoweakness yea..the fight would have turn out differently and they wouldn't need to back off..at least it wasnt the nano boost that got stolen..

Bap is probably the best support for a solder main(me) and I actually am considering calling him my main
I used to main soldier too and switched after the general hitscan nerf ontop of his 19 dmg and cree being one of the worst heros now without his stun and no 1 shot combo.

One thing i really find hard with bap (other than lamp reaction time and cooldown usage) is just raw aim. Do you mind dropping some tips or letting me know what u use to warm up?
I have the same issue. It's not even like his recoil pattern is hard to correct, but I'm sitting around 25% primary accuracy when on other characters I'm always 40+.
I have a really hard time aiming with Bap.
I used to main Moira but eventually once you hit diamond you realize you can hard carry a lot easier on baptiste and your team will appreciate the amount of value you bring to the team unlike Moira lmao
I was wondering if I should I ever use a bap ult purely as a tool to increase healing while staying in the sideline or is that just a waste?
You can often times weave damage into that too. Selfish windows are a thing for healing just not primarily, usually as a secondary thing

to rank up as healer do you have to do healing? I maintain usually quite a bit more damage then healing and get consistent wins yet still rank down from silver 5 to 1 any help on how the rank system works?
silver 1 is higher rank than silver 5
Rank system sucks that's all I'll say
1 k heal is equivalent to 1 k damage, go for a balance between the two for huge rank boosts
What do you do when your teammates do no rotations and just run straight past all the cover and make a straight line to the point?

as a bap player how much healing are you aiming to accumulate by the end of the game. i’m averaging around 3k and i’m plat
I know this is late but you should average 1k per min so 10k per ten.
Question is there a reason you shoot your heals at full hp teammates or is it just a habit?
That is me needing to break a bad habit.
@@PAZswagger I do that with Ana lol, it’s not a bad thing because your teammates take so many small hits you sometimes keep them fully healed in the process. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad habit at all!

@@ashleymilton5768 don't want to be mean but that's a suboptimal way to play. You can do amazing damage with Ana when your tm8s are full health. It's all about balance. Healbotting will only get you so far
I struggle a bit with the recoil on his gun it looks like it barely effects your aim. How can I improve? Like often the first shot will hit for me then it goes up an misses etc…
Pull your mouse down. Just like controlling recoil of any weapon in any game.
Also, turn off camera shake in settings

your tracking is nuts. do you have an aim training routine??
Do you have recoil recovery aim compensation turned off?
Whatever default is is what I use.

high jump is great though? it gives some of the best mobility in the game, esp for a support
He says bad aim number 1 2 and 3 but in reality I just swapped my aim with his for a bit.

Are you actually a “professional overwatch player” or is that just a title you throw around loosely. Not trying to be rude, but playing for a college is not really professional. That’s why there “pro football” and “college football” so I’m just wondering what gives you the qualification to be a professional overwatch player. Genuinely curious, as I do like your content. But am also very invested in Overwatch league and I’ve never seen you on any Overwatch league before.
Used to play in Contenders/Trials -> Considered "professional"
It's not T1 but it isn't like any GM player could just walk in and play.
