In the hottest months it will be around 110-115 degrees, so very hot ☀🌵 But thankfully it is not very humid and it's a dry heat, but still feels like you are walking into an over when you go outside lol 🥵 We usually stay indoors for most of the summer and if you want to go outside or hike do it in the morning before it gets too hot and of course lots of swimming pools here to enjoy!

Good point, what a home is worth is ultimately decided by the buyer and what someone is willing to pay for it. And yes, most homes are sold for more than the cost of building them, which is true in most areas around the US. With all the growth here over the years, prices and cost of living have certainly gone up.
I used to live there for 2 years. I absolutely hated it, people were very mean to us because we were from out of state, i had no friends and our house got robbed twice. I do miss our old house but i dont miss the scorpions or the monsoons
@@alexapplegate619 "you were the problem", I was 11 but sure, keep in mind this was 2004, our neighborhood was brand new and very quickly it fell apart, by the end of it we had people vandalize the community pool, someone even blew up the BBQ pit with fireworks

Flooding area?
There are very few areas in Arizona that flood, typically more rural areas outside the metro.

Sounds like you were the problem. We've had the exact opposite experience moving to Arizona.
