I never get much luck when I coin roll hunt quarters... Yet, I still love the anticipation of opening those orange striped rolls and looking for silver.
In this video, I'll open up 8 boxes of quarters from different bank branches in hopes of finding MORE 2019 W Quarters or at the least, landing another Silver Quarter or error/variety quarter of 2019.

I can imagine some old guy, laughing quietly to himself, as he mixed those nickels in.
When I used to deposit coins they would take the rolls and weigh them, they'd require name/addr/acct# written on them. if you tried the nickel stunt
they would deduct 20 cents from your bank balance per.
Actually they'd deduct the 20 cents plus an extra dollar penalty for being under.
I feel certain that vending machine owners scavenged all the silver quarters decades ago.
That is why I am holding off on Quarters as I yield better on the pennies, but love that you show the truth about hunting quarters and that's what I love about you. Keep up the good work!

I found my first War in the Pacific W minted quarter in my change from the cafe at work today!
Quarters are brutal for silver. We went through 8 boxes trying to get a Washington for our type set book with no luck. Fortunately one of our favorite tellers bailed us out and called us when a couple of silvers came in and she held them for us.
Thanks for posting this. It lets people know that you don't always hit the jackpot when you do roll searches.

Quarters are tough, but they're my favorite! I usually have more luck hunting quarters than I do hunting Halves.
Man, that was rough! I still can't bring myself to do quarters. Haha. The W's were nice though!
I got lucky yesterday. Got a single roll of quarters at my bank yesterday. FINALLY found my first SAM W!!! Now I have all the 2019 W's. Also, the day before got 2 2020 D pennies in my change. Tough is tough but it is still fun.

You have better luck than me. I’ve hunted 60&1/2 boxes this year, and have found one w, and 3 silver. 10 proofs and 2 forigen. Rough on me

In the two boxes of quarters I have only found 2 WIP W's, and 2-3 foreigns. My best find was last night when I went into work. The cashier asked if I wanted the one coin in the register. It was a 2019 ASE. Can't get mad at getting a Silver Eagle for a dollar.
I went to the bank yesterday and the teller said that the halves she had were already searched, I got em anyway and found a Benji, and a 2014 silver proof. also same day I got a w rnr quarter, AND a 1959 dime in my change! best day ever coin hunting.
quarters can be awesome, or bust, i did find a trashed SLQ,My first,with an S mint mark,and no date the other day, and a 1960 Washington.

its a lot of work sometimes, but it sure is exciting when you find treasure. I didnt know that the mint was going to continue the West-Point quarters. So, I'm on it come April 6th!!!
Silver quarters are very hard to find in my area. My daughter loves them. Keep hunting.

I just opened a box of pennies yesterday and got a total of two wheat pennies 😅 both common dates I’m kinda bummed but I’m gonna keep trying, you have really inspired me rob thank you.

I've been getting rolls of quarters to do laundry since 1991. I've only ever gotten 1 silver quarter in all those years, and that was just a month ago.
I've haven't found a "W" yet . But have found 1 silver quarter, a Bicentennial. Been thru alot of quarters and I guess I was brain dead. Never thought to look for 82-83. I'll start now though. Love the videos !!

Found a 2000 p silver plated south Carolina quarter yesterday while watching the half hunt last night.
Found my first silver quarter. 1938. Really beat up and dirty, but its silver. 👍

I have learned alot.... Some coins puzzle me in memory, i bought $5. , in pennies.. Ive fotten a clean 61', 68' s 1918' 51'.... I also a 72' .25 pc, 61' .10pc... I need to get ur mats, I'd also like 2get the magnifier for my lap rop... I'm just waiting on income tax check

Been lucky I guess. Ive done 2 boxes of quarters total and both had 2 W quarters each 1 1965 silver. A very very nice 1992. Im talking possibly a ms 66 or better. I'll have to send you a pic of it
I have found one SAM-W, but I would really like to find more P state quarters - which are a bit hard to come by on the west coast.

Despite the overwhelming presence of PePe, I still want to get a box of quarters to hunt. I haven’t hunted another since my first one-mostly because that one was so good that I hate to come down off that high...LOL.
There's so many times at work I get angry because I find a penny in a roll of quarters, mostly because it makes my drawer wrong at the end of the night

Hi Rob, I just want to say to you I found a 2005-P Kansas quarter yesterday at a Coinstar machine and believe it or not, it was the "In God We Rust" error! How sweet is that?

Omg a whole BOX of 2020 quarters !??!?!?!! i would be jumping for joy at that for real!!! none of the banks around here have had any 2020 currency at all :( ive yet to see any 2020s even in pocket change or anything anywhere. i would LOVE LOVE LOVE to search that box for varieties Lol XD i check every coin anyway so thats one of those "right up your alley" kind of things XD sorry you got so skunked though :(

Looks like the secret is out and more people are wising up about silver quarters, I predict that they will be next to impossible to find in bank rolls and when I roll mine up I will write on the wrapper "sorry no silver in here"
Hey Rob, I don't hunt quarters very often for obvious reasons but if I would stumble across a full box of 2020 quarters and wanted to sell them in your opinion what would be a fair price to charge?
