How much would a nicer 54 s go for? I’ve got one in good condition and I didn’t even realize it lol
I also found an older coin with a mint mark a few times
1920-D and 1925-S in the last 6 months
Very interesting hunt. No one can imagine what 1 million pennies would be without some kind of Visual aid. If you can imagine 750 rolls or 37500 pennies will fit in 5 gallon bucket, 1 million pennies will fill about 26 buckets. I know I have done it.
Some of best finds out of those million?
I don't go through nearly as many penny boxes, since I mostly focus on quarters, but I think I've hunted at least 20 boxes in the last year and a half, so that should be good for at least 1 bucket :)
I just got through a good hunt myself, but from a Coinstar machine. $7.64 including a 1953 silver dime, a 1943 D steel cent, and a three Canadian silver quarters.

I found 6 wheat cents at work today. Surprised to see a 1918 & a 1925. Usually only find wheat cents from 1944-1958.

June 8 was my 61st birthday but I couldn’t get any pennies yesterday. Boy, you got some tough coins down there in Texas. I never got less than 15 wheats in a box. My records show I got my 1st 1928-D on 10/23/02 and I’ve got several more since then.

My box hunts in Chicago have quite a bit of shiny copper. My latest box is light on copper and very few wheats. I haven't been a good box hunt in two months. I have filled two home depot buckets with copper pennies in less than two years. Canadian pennies are scarce in the Midwest.
Nice hunt i went through a box of pennies and got a 1920 Denver wheat cent. Also did a nickel box hunt found 3 buffalo nickels and a 1951s nickel.

These videos make it seem so simple to find varieties, but in all reality it takes days to look through all those pennies, lol 😆 😄
For sure. I hunt 20+ boxes per week of coins and for almost 7 years now. It takes many hunts or at least 1 lucky one.

My 10 year old son purchased a sack of pennys. Saved up his allowance. We made the purchase in November the package never showed up. It wasn't rods fault. I've tride many emails with rod trying to purchase another sack of pennys with no resolution. Sincerely 10 year old fan that has been let down...

Found a 1910 in decent shape and a Canadian 1942 with George VI on it in what I thought might be a skunk box when I first opened it.

I have a 53 D and a 48 S nickel's silver and a 1926 no mint mark buffalo nickel and they look great and will sell them if interested and thanks for sharing this video and i also have a 97 no mint mark an in God is doubled on my that coin and will sell it as well i have not looked at the 97 penny very well yet but u can see the doubleing on it with just your eyes

Box 2 was strange 😂. I got 5 silver dimes today in roll number 2. And 1 more in the entire rest of the hunt. Wierd

Well, a box of pennies is $25 / 2,500 pennies. So, a million pennies is 400 boxes. Probably enough to build a wall in front of a window to block all sunlight.

@@RobFindsTreasure really I’m hunting 2 I picked up today after 3 rows I’ve found 30 wheat cents and several error coins including a 1999 wide AM and a 1969 D no FG No Lincoln And floating roof, several 1988/88D with 89 reverses, 72 D/D, 84 D DDO this box is loaded and I’m only 3 rows in and the other box I have next to it looks just as good maybe someone dumped a collection but I picked up boxes last week as well and found a 1998 wide AM and a 1922 weak D as my top finds.
I just tossed some wheaties and stealies in a change bucket that i need to take to bank and cash in. To many and dont need them.
